Thank you Yelp for bringing us to this restaurant. There were 8 of us that arrived at 4pm. It looks like the place used to be a pizza place. (There is a very expensive pizza oven in the corner.) it's very clean and the server was friendly. I was unable to to get pictures of all items ordered - Shrimp Kebab, Hummus w/ Beef Shawarma. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The chicken Shawarma was dry, probably the only thing that was wrong with any of the meals.There's a slow amount of foot traffic in & out but steady throughout the time we were there.

I do love it here. Really. But last time I was here ( 2 weeks ago). The oven was out. The beer refrigerator was broken. Okay.... We made due and enjoyed the food. Came back today because I really wanted the spinach pies and some fresh pita and a flat bread. Walk in.... Oven still out. How can that be? Really? A brand new restaurant and oven. One server. Place is busy( good for you). But it's unacceptable. Tried to be patient. Nope. Back to George's Kitchen I go. Sorry.

We've visited and tried a vast array of Hellenic-style establishments all over the Valley, but the Palms Mediterranean Kitchen stands out as one of our top ten choices for dining and enjoying this gastronomy. The moment you walk in the place alive, whether full or empty, you feel a vibe of the vast openness, congenial spaciousness and happy brightness that exude comfortable casual. The air is alive and wafting of the aromas of unique Greek ingredients. Airborne scents of Coriander, Allspice, and Cardamom entice the senses, but when you begin the eating experience, you'll fully appreciate and enjoy the Clove, Nutmeg and Sumac on your palate. While we contemplated what to dine from their extensive and diverse menu, we sipped on a non-Greek Arnold Palmer and Iced Tea. Having taken a little time (actually more than a little time) deciding, we were set to try something other than what is your typical Greek fare in most places of Gyros or Souvlaki! We decided on a delightful lunch that included their tender roasted and juicy chicken slowly cooked on a kátheto kreatoparagogís, served with rice, a Greek pilaf-style yummy yummy rice, and an incredibly aromatic and tasty garlic sauce. I had the Lamb Chop Plate with Pita that included five (count them, five) mouthwatering French-style cut lamb chops infused and seasoned to perfection with traditional herbs and spices, and sided with rice, and perfectly seasoned and prepared grilled vegetables - really, really good. We highly recommend this fab place to anyone who gets a hankering for excellent Greek. !

Possibly the best lamb shank I've ever had! It was floral, beautiful, savory, lightly sweet. It was just amazing. The gyro was savory and paired with the most beautiful salad with pickled vegetables. Definitely coming back!

We had takeout. We ordered the chefs platter for 3 or 4 people. The selection of meats was great and tasty, but it was almost enough for six people. Staff was friendly.

AMAZING!!! We were in the area for some sports equipment, looking for a place to eat and came across The Palms! Glad we did! Delicious food and amazing service! We order the **Meat Lovers since it has a little bit of everything, there was 3 of us and it seems like we didn't even make a "dent" on the platter. We packed 4 to go boxes after we were done, their portions are very generous. Highly recommend and will definitely make the drive from Peoria to come eat here again! Restaurant has an amazing ambiance as well, and very clean!
