The Nook A Daytime Eatery

I go early once they open and the service and food are great. The food is a good portion for a good price and the atmosphere is great as well. I say give it a shot!

The Nook is right by our house so we've come often. Honestly, I would give it 3 1/2 to 4 stars. Sometimes there's a wait but the staff's always friendly. This time we ordered eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, green chili chicken skillet and the texas steak skillet. We loved the eggs beni, the biscuits and gravy were pretty standard and the skillets we all had different opinions about but it definitely had a lot of flavor. If we was going to brunch for a special occasion honestly we'd choose somewhere else but for a Saturday morning breakfast date it is perfect!!! We will definitely be back.

This is a tradition neighborhood breakfast spot! From the decorating and lay out to the location. This style of breakfast place is my favorite! The atmosphere is always welcoming and pleasant here. Service is always great. Food is excellent. Traditional meals mixed with great sandwich & salad options for lunch. Coffee is amazing which is always my main concern...they give you a little pot at your table so you don't have to keep chasing the server done to get a fresh cup. This place was extremely busy, we were 7th on the wait list. We wanted to do outside seating, but I guess they didn't have enough staff to provide for outside? For as busy as this place is, it's disappointing to see they weren't allowing outside seating. The amount of money lost from not filling your tables... We got a table by the restrooms, gladly we couldn't smell them lol. The food was quick to come out, we got the Belgian waffle (berries), and it was probably the best waffle I've ever had. I ordered biscuits and gravy and was a bit disappointed. I felt "whataburger" had better biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was sticky (tacky) in the middle, as if it wasn't baked long enough. And the potatoes were "meh". The place has really nice juice drinks, we did enjoy those. For as busy as it was they definitely maintained cleanliness as well. Our waitress was very tentative to our table, always checking up on us. We enjoyed our meal enough, but we weren't bamboozled by it. The waffle did bamboozle us but nothing else. We will try it again in the future and probably order a bunch of waffles lol

Cute little place hidden in Gilbert but it's worth it cause the food and service there were wonderful!! Only beef was that my cup had some lipstick on it and I would have taken a picture but boyfriend rubbed it off before I had the chance. Overall I would recommend.

Nice local breakfast place. Gets real busy after 10 so go early to get a table without waiting. Pancakes are huge! Good flavor. Plenty of staff to take care of the customers. A little on the louder side but that expected with all business.

Service- they were very attentive Ambiance - a bustling little cafe in a strip mallFood - coffe wasn't that great The eggs were good, it was nice to have greens served with breakfast. The English muffin was barely toasted. The bacon was cooked well but a bit on the fatty side.

This place is a hidden gem! I came here for a late brunch with my family today and I was so pleasantly impressed! We were seated right away and everyone I interacted with had a smile on their face. The manager even thanked us for coming when we were leaving. I got an iced coffee and the cinnamon roll, which was devilish and unbelievably good. I couldn't finish the whole thing as it was almost as big as the plate! The rest of my family got sandwiches and they all really enjoyed their food. The restroom was very clean, and there were two cubicles to use for the women. All in all, I'd totally come back here and try the rest of their (very extensive!) menu.

We came in this morning to eat & the hostesses told us we couldn't bring in a water bottle. Understandable if it was just us adults, but we have a 6 month old baby that drinks formula + water in her bottle. I tried telling them this & they insisted i still couldn't bring it in. So, you will either be losing customers or you need to train your hosts' to understand that babies/infants have health care needs that can't be satisfied from tap water or the soda fountain. This will be going on social media as well so my followers with young babies will think twice about supporting a business that refuses a baby drinking water for her bottle. Sad bc i actually love the food here, but this experience definitely made me re-think this establishment being "family friendly"

Very good food and Large portions. We took a large party with pretty high standards and everyone liked their food. I would definitely recommend.
