A hole in the wall kind of place. Atmosphere is shopping center regular. The service is good. What sets this place apart is the food and value. Sorry I didn't get pictures. The portions are huge. We ordered Calamari 5/5, lasagna 5/5, chicken Picatta 4/5, spaghetti and meatballs 4.5/5, and Paulie's scampi 5/5. Solid wine selection.

Lots of food but they scrimp on the included salad and bread. Service was quick but they seem disinterested in many of the customers who are not obvious regulars. Outdoor live music was a bit loud. Featured 60's hits sung by singers way past their 60's it appeared. We've been twice now and both visits were pretty much the same. So they are consistent.

This is by far the best pizza I have had in my 32 years of living on the west coast. I have had a good enough slice at other places; Paulie's little bite takes me home to Harrisburg, PA. The sauce, the dough, the smell! I also love the lasagna, stuffed shells and Caprese salad. My husband and I are steadily working our way through the entire menu! He has tried the manicotti and shrimp fettuccine. Delicious! We have had the lunch plates as well, the perfect amount of food at an attractive price point.Excellent service, fun owner and employees. We love the ambiance, it reminds me of my east coast youth.

We love this place. Paulie is a fun ball of energy and sings the crowner songs, he's very talented. The fish is yummy, the meatballs are good, and the clam chowder makes me want to swim in. Make reservations for live music on Saturdays, you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed the Italian ambiance. The trio was a good portion size for me. The food was enjoyable. The red sauce was not as rich in flavor as my Italian grandma Josephine, but it still had an authentic Italian flavor. I can't remember the name of our waitress, but she was very attentive. The next time I'm in Arizona, I'll be sure to return.

Wed., 3/27/2024 - Ate at "Paulie's Little Bite of Italy" restaurant. Address is 15456 N 99th Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351. Ginette, our waitress, was very nice and professional. Pros: 1) lots of parking.2) we made reservations so got seated right away.3) they have outdoor and indoor seating.4) service was great. Staffs great. They checked on us several times and made sure our tables were clear from any dirty dishes. They also made sure we had our drinks filled.5) foods were presentable. 6) plates, cups, utensils were all clean. Our table and chairs clean. 7) cheese cake was so good. Didn't even need any strawberry sauce or anything. You can eat it as is and it's perfect. 8) they do provide a little spumoni ice cream for birthday. 9) water tasted great. 10) they do have a bar.Cons1) bathroom is outside, separate from restaurant. When I went to the bathroom at around 8:15pm, the women's bathroom was locked. You need a code to get in. I asked one of the female server for the code and they said it's not locked. I told her it was. I went back outside and tried to open the bathroom again and even pushed on the door, it would not open. There's 3 stalls in the women's bathroom. I went in when we first arrived to wash my hands before eating. The men's bathroom, on the other hand, was not locked. I saw someone go in there. 2) We ordered our t-bone medium rare, it was cooked medium. The 2nd t-bone was ordered medium rare on the rare side, it too was cooked medium.3) chicken Alfredo: chicken dry and over cooked. Alfredo sauce on the watery side and not much flavor. Pasta dry. Conclusion Cute restaurant. We liked it. Cute decorations. Nice and professional staff. Cheesecake is off the hook! You gotta try it! Shrimps were big. Took 3 bites to finish each one. The cocktail sauce that came with the shrimp didn't have horse radish. Instead they used pepper. It was different, but good. Lots of parking!

Not good. The calzone was loaded with way too much cheese. Really was not good. Disappointing.

A friend said "the best marinara sauce I've ever had", so we were anxious to try. The decor is old fashioned Italian with pics on the walls of famous Italians from50 - 70 years ago. It feels homey and comfortable, and we were excited to try the food. Unfortunately, we were mostly disappointed. The 3 meatball appetizer is a generous portion, and the sauce is wonderful, but the meatballs themselves are very dry and have no flavor at all. The Sicilian sausage pasta dish has tasty sausage but the sausage does not interact with the pasta in any meaningful way because there is no sauce. So this was a boring dish that did not excite at all. The lasagna was very very good, with a delicious sauce and full of flavor. So, in sum, one out of three dishes really worth eating. To be complete, the accompanying dinner roll was outstanding, and the waitress was very good.

Paulie's is a gem of a restaurant with excellent food and attentive service. The decor places you in an Italian restaurant in the heart of Italy.Homemade pasta and deserts are the best. We traveled from San Francisco for vacation and couldn't pass up the opportunity to try this place.
