Pacific Seafood Buffet

I will start off by saying that I am a bit biased. When I first moved to Arizona from NYC back in 2009, this is where our family friends took us, and it was wonderful. I have been riding that high ever since and still come back from time to time. During my pregnancy last year, I had a lot of food aversions in my 1st trimester, but when I wanted to eat food again, this was the spot. Nothing hits better than a plate of calamari, chicken feet, and egg plant/string beans.We came by yesterday with our little family for an early 5pm dinner. It was just my husband, little one, and I. They gave us a high chair, but looking back, I think he may have been able to use the seat boosters they have. My little one is in his T-Rex stage, so it made our dinner difficult, but still enjoyable nonetheless. The food was hot and fresh when we got in as they were possibly preparing for their dinner rush.We had good service and left with satisfied bellies.Is this the best chinese food you will have? No, but you will get pretty decent chow mein, chicken, bbq, and dim sum items.

We came on a Sunday night, quickly got seated, there was already bunch of people eating there and I was really impressed with the staff reloading the crab legs every 10-20 minutes. There was no need to wait on them and a lot of people came by to get other food too. The food options were plenty and great. They do have hibachi style cooking too if anyone is interested. The desert table was good too. Tables/chairs/ silverware were clean. Waiter/waitress would come by to pick up our old plates really quickly too. It never stacked up more than 2 plates. Overall, we would come back.

Most of the ones in the Tempe and Eastern Phoenix area we had already tried and were disappointed by them, so we didn't have high expectations for this one. We were wrong!This is a large restaurant with big seating capacity. First thing I noticed was that all the hot food was steaming hot and the cold food was being kept perfectly. What a nice surprise!I started out on the cold fish area which is supervised at all times. Nicely prepared Mackerel, Tuna, Salmon, all sorts of sushi rolls, inari and some of the hottest wasabi I have ever eaten.On to the hot foods. I counted at least 5 different varieties of shrimp ranging from salt and pepper to coconut shrimp and spicy shrimp. Velvet beef and broccoli, Hot and sour fish, Mussels, Snails, Crabs, assorted Chinese buns and on and on. A large assortment of soups including a nice Hot and Sour with the proper accouterments.Fried chicken, pork ribs, Spring Rolls, and even fresh oysters. Assorted cakes, fresh melons, jello, assorted canned fruits, and assorted ice creams.Prices are higher on the weekends, but there is lots more to try on the weekends. My only ding is that most buffets now have installed televisions in the dining rooms, which I personally could easily do without. Tables were bussed in a reasonable amount ot time and bathrooms were reasonably clean especially considering the amount of people eating this night.4 stars for good food served at proper temperatures and general cleanliness.Recommended for a good fill.

Ok ok ok . Let's be realistic , unless you go Vegas , you won't find a fantastic buffet. This place seemed clean enough, the food was warm, it taste good enough, they kept coming out with fresh food. The service is good enough. It was overall ok for the price. Food: 3.5 out 5Service: 3 out of 5

Pacific Seafood Buffet3110 N Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225After my productive morning meeting in Central Phoenix, I had the pleasure of visiting Gilbert with potential buyers who expressed keen interest in the charming Boba store there. Following the showing, a wave of hunger swept over me, prompting me to dine at the delightful Pacific Seafood Buffet.The buffet's $17 price tag for such a wide array of delicious offerings truly amazed me. Every dish I sampled was delightful, although the fried Chicken Wings were the only exception. I understand that maintaining the freshness of fried items can be challenging.I am truly grateful for the existence of restaurants like Pacific Seafood Buffet that offer such high-quality food at an affordable price. It's wonderful to have such dining options available to enjoy!

Arrived at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Sushi was good for AYCE,The rest? Teriyaki chicken=dry. Mushrooms=overcooked. Breaded shrimp- cold. Green beans- great. Coconut shrimp- cold and undercooked. Deep fried snow crab- mushy like mashed potatoes. Chicken wings- okay. Broccoli and beef was very good.

They have a good selection. For it being a buffet, the sushi is decent. Was impressed.

This is best buffet place I have found in a long time. The staff is awesome and will make you fresh scampi or anything after it runs out, not to mention everything I ate here was delicious.

Pacific buffet is one of my favorite Chinese buffets in the valley. I stopped there for a late lunch and they had everything you could possibly want. I will be coming here a lot more regularly.

Very impressive selection of food. The good thing about it was that the quality was very good. Went to lunch with my wife and Bill was just a little over $30. The sushi they had was very good. I know it's not Hawaii fresh but it did the job lol. Will be back here the next time we come and visit our family again.
