Mr. Gyros

The food here is so flavorful! My husband loves the traditional gyro, I always get the chicken. The staff is always very friendly. Definitely don't skip the baklava!!

The place is always so clean inside and the workers are so nice. My only complaint today is that the AC was not working and it was over 100 degrees outside. Thank goodness we were taking our food to go, but there were still people in there who didn't mind it and still enjoying their food. They have tvs in there so you can watch sports while you eat if you're there alone having a quick bite.We ordered the steak kebab plate $17.50 and the steak kebab salad $17. Order your meat medium or medium well here, because I made the mistake of ordering it medium rare with my salad and it was tough to eat and super chewy as I think they use sirloin steak cuts. The salad is fantastic and super fresh. But the rice, let me tell you is fantastic! I don't know what they put in there but you could have a plate of their rice all on its own! I didn't care much for the vinegar based dressing they put for the salad in there but the tzatziki sauce is light and thick enough to use as a dipping sauce and dressing. The food is great overall and the price is up from what it used to be but still worth it compared to other places for the quantity and taste of the food.

This is an amazing family owned restaurant, my husband always gets the baklava and it's simply divine the steak plater is very plentiful and the rice is always perfect. The food is always fresh and perfectly cooked way better than other gyro places! Bottom line you really get your moneys worth and the food tastes amazing! The meat potions more than enough I usually have to save the rest for lunch!

Great find. Thanks Yelp. In town with my son for a competition and trying to expand his food palette. His first Greek experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Busy place with a lot of pickup traffic from locals so a great sign. I had the traditional gyro combo with a Greek salad and he had the Italian Gyro combo with rice. Both were great. This is a traditional strip mall restaurant where you order at the register and then they bring it out. Fun vibe and great food.

Gave this place a chance because of the raving yelp reviews and I was pretty disappointed. At a glance it looks pretty good, but I won't be returning. For starters, people say the portion sizes are huge and great but my food came out to about 19.50 before tip, so a decent portion is kind of expected. However, they seem to prioritize quantity over quality because I'm not eating this entire disappointing meal. The steak was cooked so inconsistently, I asked for medium and the pieces I got ranged from medium rare to well done. It's a bit sad too because one or two of the steak pieces were really good, tender, and seasoned well while the rest were bland, or cooked incorrectly, or even low quality and chewy. Unfortunately some of the steak pieces became a part of my dog's happy meal. The rice tasted like old rice that was recooked or maybe just reheated, the flavor was there but the age was not. Not all hope is lost though because the pita bread and some of salad is pretty good, I ended up making a sandwich with some of that and the steak.

I started out with 2 stars for this place, but took a bit to finish the review....Good thing because now as my husband and I are both sitting in the restroom I have time to finish it. It affected us both equally. So I guess we reviewed the end product first so let's back it up to the beginning. We were on the road and used Yelp to find this place with amazing ratings. After having indulged, for the life of us we can only attribute the ratings to the giant portions. But I will say a giant portion of of processed mediocre food is just that.... A giant portion of something I can't finish in the first place. There absolutely nothing authentic or homemade about this food. Hard pass from both ends!

Delicious food! They were very busy. Took 20 minutes to get our food and the place needed some cleaning up-dirty tables, overflowing trash, no paper towels in either restroom. They were clearly understaffed for the lunch crowd but overall I'd go back!

The owner and staff are amazingly nice people. The kitchen folk do a great job cooking and serving the food as soon as it is cooked. I had the gyro with fries and a beverage. The food was perfect. I haven't had a gyro this good since living in NY. The city has amazing food all over and now it can be found in Anthem! The fries were perfectly cooked. They were crunchy outside and soft and hot inside. I can't wait to try the rest of the Greek/Middle-Eastern offerings. Thank you, Edmond!

I just have to say that this is the best place in town.! With the best food.! Best Service.! Which makes the Atmosphere extremely exceptional.!
