LGO Bake Shop

So I'm a big fan of LGO and go frequently. It's such a cute place and I love their grab and go salads and browsing the store in general. I have lived in the area for 4 yrs now and have ordered cakes from the bakery several times as well as bought muffins and cookies in the store. I've always loved them and especially their cakes. However, the past several times have been mediocre at best. I've bought two cakes recently, one in March and the other in May for Mothers Day. Both cakes were beautiful but so unbelievably DRY!!! Cakes should never be dry. And when I say dry I mean crumbly. Especially the Mothers Day one. None of us even finished our piece. So disappointing. Then last week I stopped into LGO for a latte and also grabbed a berry bran muffin. I know bran muffins are always dryer than say a blueberry or pumpkin but I took one bite and the entire muffin just crumbled all over the bag. It was flavorful but so so dry and disappointing. Also, I was there around 9am and they had nothing for morning things except that muffin and a blueberry muffin. Everything else was cookies and pieces of cakes. I probably won't order a cake here anymore because they're not cheap and just not great anymore. I'd much rather go to Arcadia Farms. Those cakes are always moist and delectable. They also have the adorable mini cakes in several different flavors which I love. Sorry LGO bake shop. Your baked goods just aren't great anymore. Also, the girls at the coffee counter always make you feel like you're inconveniencing them. Just not happy or friendly.

It's ok. Food looks good. Lots of bakery items to try or take home. Their granola bars looked good. A place to hang out or have breakfast or brunch which seems to be very popular. A local place so you'll probably see the same people which is nice. But the ambience is not so great. In a packed parking lot so the tables and chairs are right there where the cars pull up. Also inside is not that special- pretty loud.

Consistent, delicious food, good service, good people there! I love it! This place is a must always! I'm stuck on the Thai chicken salad, the bbq chicken sandwich, and the olive oil cake lately!!! Also, the spicy tuna roll is a must!

I ordered the vegetarian sandwich and it was alright. This place was very hyped for me not only for the sweet treats but for the main food too and I was a bit disappointed. My sandwich had a lot of spring mix which made it rather unflavorful. The goat cheese was good and the havarti was a nice touch but it didn't add that much flavor. I wish there had been more avocado in the sandwich too! I did enjoy the sweet bell peppers though.You order at the counter and can then pick it up from there when they call your name and choose one of the many indoor or outdoor tables. The space was nice. Service was fine, but the food wasn't anything special. Maybe I'll come back to try one of their sweet treats but I'll pass on the sandwich the next time.

I am literally at LGO several times a week, and if calories didn't count, I'd be eating their baked goods daily, but they do, so I try to treat myself every few visits instead!If you find yourself in the mood for a treat or special order, you cannot go wrong here. There is literally something for everyone from their Grateful Spoon gelato to their cakes, cookies, muffins, macaroons and more... Don't fret - if you're vegan or gluten free, there are plenty of sweet options for you too.Even though I'm not vegan, my favorite cookie of all time is the LGO Vegan Apple Cookie. Ask to have it warmed up and thank me later!Other favorites include the French Sea Salt Cookie, Lemon Meringue Tart, Red Velvet Cake, Key Lime Pie, and Old Timers.If you're feeling like more of a savory treat, LGO's famous english muffins and croissants are pretty amazing too.I've ordered Thanksgiving desserts from LGO for years and enjoyed many a custom cookie / cake from here as well.I don't know how I've gone so long without writing a review for this incredible bake shop, but if you're reading this, what are you waiting for? It is a unique blend of ingredients that just go well together. We kiddingly justify eating it as getting our fix of cookie and fruit.Get it, you will not be disappointed.

I love LGO bakery.Everything is always beautifully presented and great quality. There's nothing I hate worse than getting a scone, taking the first bite and realizing I am eating a biscuit. Scones have a certain consistency that's immediately discernible.I love their version of a Hostess Ding Dong, it's a great item to share with a friend. Always friendly service here and of course lots of fun things to look at in the gift shop.

One of my very favorite local spots. Such amazing pastries and great lunch and breakfast options. They have one of my favorite pizzas in the valley. You can't go wrong with any of their pastries. It's a cute spot, but often gets very busy and can be a tight fit but worth it.

The BEST cookie in all of Arizona. And I'm a cookie connoisseur. I absolutely love the sea salt chocolate chip cookie - it's massive, and perfectly delicious with gooey chocolate and giant sea salt crystals that make for an excellent combo of sweet and savory. I've never had one that wasn't - perfectly splendid (yes I did just binge Haunting of Bly Manor). Their other baked goods are tasty as well, namely their other cookies and cakes. But really, the sea salt chocolate chip cookie is where it's at.

La Grande Orange is it normal go to for me, huge variety of food, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff is always friendly, can't say enough about this place love it!!
