So I'm giving this place my very honest review and only because it's new and there's a lot of things they should work on. For starters, the service wasn't good. It took awhile for us to get seated and then the bartender had to come around and seat us. We had no menus for a bit and had to look it up on yelp to see what we wanted before we were finally helped. The food was delicious and came out quick but the portion sizes were disappointing. The shrimp appetizer came with only four shrimp and was priced similar to the entrees. Six would've made more sense but four? Also we got all our food way before our drinks to the point where my boyfriend almost asked them to cancel them. The bartender was talking to some diners seated next to us for awhile and he was the only person making drinks. We had to remind the waiter we had ordered drinks and he just waited for the bartender to finish talking to people. And this was all happening right in front of us. Service was just really bad which is disappointing because the food is really good and has so much potential. Portion sizes were the main things that needed work. We ordered the crab fried rice and it came with only two tiny lumps of crab meat on top. Overall, food was good and portions were disappointing. As was the service.

The Thai food scene in Phoenix keeps getting better, and LeDu is surely a standout. Unlike a million Americanized Thai restaurants in the Valley, which put carrots and broccoli in every dish, LeDu offers authentic flavors and unique Southern Thai influences. The Pla Goong Salad was incredibly refreshing and tasted just like it would in Thailand. Their Kua Kling, a classic Southern Thai dish, was great, especially with the perfect Thai-style fried egg on top. The Pad Ki Mao was outstanding, with a wok hei (wok air) that's rare to find in the States--definitely better than 99% of drunken noodles in the Valley. The banana roti was a nostalgic treat and a perfect end to the meal. The interior of the restaurant is charming and eclectic. The staff were friendly and efficient even on a busy night. We'll definitely return to explore more of their menu!

Food: 5/5 Everything was phenomenal. I think the server (& owner??) said these are southern Thai dishes which tends to be more sour and spicy. Many of the dishes we got had lemongrass (which we love) so it really suited our taste buds. The dishes are on the smaller side and more reasonably priced, which is great for trying more dishes. Our items: HAT-YAI fried chicken 5/5 (the best friend chicken made of all places we've been; crispy chicken skin, juicy/tender meat; and the wings were big. Sweet & chili type sauce on the side, the skin themselves weren't seasoned but I'm ok with it)Som dtam plara Laos style (papaya salad) 4/5 (a bit too strong for us but I think that's how the dish is; can't tell what it is but we think it's some version of very strong fish sauce)Lamb Mushroom 5/5 (our go-to when we come back)Beef stew soup 5/5 (not my cup of soup but it was good still)Kua kling 4/5 (strong flavors, we asked for extra rice, but so good. We'll ask for an extra egg next time!) Gaeng Crabmeat turmeric 5/5 (my favorite! The sauce is so creamy and well balanced! The basil and cilantro are major players in this dish)Service: 5/5So fast (on a Tuesday night) I didn't even blink before the appetizers were out. Super attentive staff.Ambiance: 5/5 the decor is everything! They dim the indoor lights around sunset so it gives off an intimate, date night vibe.

Great Thai food, love the ambiance and service was fantastic. Jay saved me with a glass of milk when I was done with my meal. The spice level is from 1-5, I ordered level 3 and had some heat to it. My friend and I ordered the papaya salad, beef soup and glass noodle shrimp entree. To finish, of course got the mango sticky rice for dessert - Definitely will revisit!

Food was fantastic. I had one of the soup dishes (their version of Tom Yum), the fried chicken appetizer and Thai Fried Rice. All good good..!I put this place right behind Lom Wong and Glai Baan for great Thai restaurants in the Valley.Cocktails were balanced.Service was a little slow...but I believe this was due to opening week and still figuring things out.The vibe was energetic but cool.Location is right in the Roosevelt Row part of Downtown which is good (convenience) and bad (parking) but I think it works.Definitely will be back again soon to try more dishes..!

This was one of the few restaurants in the area that we found which was open later. We were seated quickly and the waitstaff were friendly. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our food and found the prices to be fair. The only exception to that were the beverages which were $5 for a can of soda. The inside of the restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated.

Great addition to downtown as it's part of Roosevelt Row. The interior of this place is immaculate, love the atmosphere as it's really pretty. Went during lunch so there wasn't too long of the wait on food.Pad see ew, and the Thai beef salad were delicious. I do wish the portions were bigger compared to the prices they were offered. It is on the pricier side but unfortunately is the norm nowadays due to inflation

Shareable portions are VERY, VERY small, so when you're ordering the way it says to "share", it's misleading as everyone only gets one bite per plate. I'm sad because I was really hoping this place would be better. The steak appetizer was so tough that I could barely swallow it, but my friends refused to let me say anything because the place had only been open a week. I felt like they needed to know, so now I have to tell them here. The egg on the kra pow chicken was also very overcooked. I'm Thai and I know that egg needs to be runny. The chicken appetizer wasn't actual fried chicken per se, it was just 4 chicken wings, so I guess it was fried, but we all know what fried chicken means to Americans. They need to advertise that differently because it came out looking underwhelming, but to be honest, the crisp on it was spectacular. The pad z u was tasty and I was impressed that they actually used Chinese broccoli. Some places will use American broccoli, which isn't authentic and call it a day. We also ordered the crab friend rice, but what I thought was egg, was actually the very small amount of crab. The crab itself had no flavor, but the fried rice just seemed like regular Thai fried rice. The larb was ok and the mango sticky rice was probably my favorite out of everything. The ambiance is nice though and the staff was very attentive and pleasant. Since it was only a week, I may give this place another visit, but since it's so far from me, it may be while til I can update my review.

Food is very authentic and good. Haven't had Thai food in phoenix like this before. Service was great! Very friendly and helpful if you don't know what to order. Just be careful with the hot levels.

Very friendly staff, great ambiance, and quick food service. Loved the experience all around and it was very romantic but also so fairly priced. Food was so delicious as well.
