Las Cazuelas - Surprise

Well I feel bamboozled. I ordered the beef chimichanga meal on door dash. Just that.. $30 including tip. The presentation was good. The food liked good until I started to eat it. Low and behold, my "beef" chimi was filled with beans. Nowhere on the menu did it say "chimi comes with 99% beans, 1% beef". Extremely disappointing.The side of rice and beans were just as disappointing. The rice had unnecessary veggies in it and it was bland and as dry as the Sahara desert. The beans, once again, zero flavor. Salt and pepper goes a long way. I've been on the hunt for some truly authentic Mexican restaurants in surprise and I'm left disappointed every time. 0/10, do not recommend.

How about a side of flavor with that chile relleno order that felt like I was chewing on a tire.Not even poblano Chiles what thaaa!!!

If you want a fantastic meal this is the place to eat .Best food I've had in a long time . Prices reasonable. Service excellent.!! Parking is good.

I haven't had the chance to visit this restaurant in person, I've only ever delivered from DoorDash, but trust me their food doesn't disappoint! It's extremely hard to find a reallll Mexican restaurant, I moved to surprise over a year ago, and this is definitely my go to for some real Mexican food and mariscos in town!

The food is WAY OVER PRICED. We ordered fajitas and all of the veggies were overcooked , oily and soggy. No chips and salsa?!? At a Mexican restaurant?!? Pitiful! Could be great...isn't...Lackluster food coupled with price spikes and gouging...I definitely wouldn't go back again!

Food good oysters terrible. Take them off menu before you get someone sick. Happy hour great idea. Ambiance good. Service good happy hour great idea.

We have been eating at Las Cazuelas for several years and have always enjoyed our meals. The food has always been delicious & the service wonderful.

We had not been to Las Cazuelas in a while, but very glad that we went there for dinner tonight. The food was as good as ever - very tasty and large portions. Service was good. Maybe they have been getting some bad press, because it always used to be packed with patrons. Not sure why it does not seem to be as popular as it used to be...it is still great!

I don't know what happened to this place if it changed owners managers or cook definitely not the same. Had lunch there with a friend last Thursday we thought wow perfect timing the place was empty for 12: 30 lunch time.... She ordered the bowl of Caldo de res they were charging $15. The bowl was half the size of what they used to be . I opted for the lunch special which was two enchiladas with rice and beans it was ok. Definitely not worth the price, their portions got smaller. It was easy to see why they weren't busy.. Service was good but then when there are only 3 tables with a total of 6 people it's easy to provide great service.
