Flavors of Louisiana

I have to say that this restaurant was so good, their menu represents true New Orleans cuisine. The staff were so, so nice. Our waiter was superb, extremely attentive, prompt, professional. There were several patrons, so the atmosphere was casual, fun, upbeat and they were clearly having a good time. The best part we met a lovely lady by the name of Chrystal who bought us beignets to try! The sweetest lady who says she eats there every day. I hope to see her again. We had blackened chicken salad, chicken po' bo, hush puppies, gumbo and beignets. All top notch and so very good. Highly recommend you try it, for an all around great meal.

I came in early afternoon on a Saturday. There were ample parking spots with a few shades options in front. I was immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who escorted me to my table. I ordered the seafood gumbo and it was very enjoyable. It was refreshing having a gumbo option that did not have pork. I also ordered the Jolie Blon. It was a nice size portion for a lunch option. The sauce and the snapper were my favorite part. I love crawfish but I wasn't a big fan of it in the dish. I have been thinking about that gumbo and will be back very soon for it.

The food was amazing!! I loved everything. The service and ambiance were great. I will definitely be returning to try more stuff. Everything was so yummy.

Sunken Catfish with jolie blon sauce... SLAPS! Order that whenever you choose to eat here. Service was quick, staff's were friendly and ambiance was spacious with cool art on the walls. It gave the restaurant a hint of that New Orleans feel

It's a no for my husband and I!! We really wanted to like this place so bad, especially after someone recommended it to me. Maybe my expectations were too high, however, I expected better than mediocre at best. We legit feel as if this restaurant began from one tik tok viewing of how to make gumbo and they decided to take it from there. Popeye's got em' beat by a huge margin. Unfortunately, we can't get our money back but hopefully this review will help someone else!!! I'm a sucker for creole, and this joint was near where I was staying...Jolie Blon, so creamy, so filling, so tasty...Had to sample the banana pudding and it was thick and cool, dotted with sliced banana and covered with the mills wafers...sweet!Ambiance is strip mall bayou, service was friendly and helpful, and prices were slightly above expectation.fish was over cooked or this would have been a 5 star joint...so I'll give this another shot if I'm back in the area, but at first glance this joint does not make the list...

Amazing taste of Louisiana if you were looking to go to Louisiana without going to Louisiana, I would highly suggest checking this place out. The sweet tea is my favorite drink in the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and start out with some crawfish and alligator bites. Sauce is amazing. The best crawfish étouffée Arizona, my go to the dunkin catfish.

Food and service have never failed to disappoint. Shrimp Po Boy is delicious! I also tried the peach cobbler for the first time and I will definitely get it again.
