First time I went we really enjoyed the complimentary focaccia bread, Brussels sprouts and soup. The stafff overdid the amount of times we were interrupted, 6-7, why?Small but nice enough interior. Second visit wax just ok.

If you view my review history, you'll see that I almost always give 5 stars because I genuinely don't want to damage any businesses. This was a very odd experience. It started with the place being eerily quiet, with soft live piano music in the background (it was not romantic). Our waiter was very friendly but made numerous mistakes throughout the dinner. The bread they brought was incredible and got our hopes up.We then got a lifeless Caesar salad with wilted lettuce an overly-anchovy flavored dressing and rock-hard croutons.Crispy brussels sprouts were extremely good. I ordered a lukewarm bolognese that had barely any meat, but the freshly made pasta was cooked well. My partner had a seafood linguine with scallops and she liked it.We ended with a bland panna cotta that was akin to eating a children's pudding. They tried a hail mary attempt to bribe us with a after-dinner aperitif to leave a good review.Whoever owns the restaurant is likely a very pretentious person, as the restaurant masquerades as a Michelin-esque restaurant with juvenile dish preparations.

Great service. My favorite dish of the evening was the Maine Lobster Sacchetti. The lobster bisque was so flavorful, I could drink it up. Pasta was al dente but I like an al dente pasta. We also ordered the braised bone in short rib but it could have been cooked for a little longer.

My husband Bart and I had a birthday dinner (for Bart) at Famigia Scottsdale last night. The entire dinner experience was wonderful. We used to frequent Broc's restaurant in Fountain Hills a few years ago (we were very sad when the restaurant closed), and although it took us a "little while" to visit his restaurant in Scottsdale, we are so glad we did. Everything from the cocktails, entrees, dessert and after-dinner drinks were phenomenal. Such an intimate ambience with lovely piano music in the background, candle light, and a beautifully decorated space. The hostess and our servers were friendly and had lively and fun personalities. It was great to see Broc again, and kudos to the chef. We will be sure to return again soon!

Incredible!!! So so intimate! Beautiful decor. The food was so spectacular, I cannot stress that enough. We were so shocked it wasn't packed. Handmade pasta, all the dishes were so thoughtful and each but was so so yummy. Service was great!! We wish we lived closer to come more often. Prices are on point for the quality of food they're putting out.

What a great place! Their Caesar salad is one of the best I have ever had, absolutely life changing!!! The staff was very friendly and tentative and food came out in a timely manner. Ambiance is very low key and a great place for families!

The food and service was exceptional! The fresh homemade pasta was delish! I had the chicken and prosciutto cappelletti, it was amazing! I was so glad I had a piece of the homemade focaccia left to scoop up the last bit of the yummy sauce from my dish. Oh and the Caesar salad was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. The cocktails were top notch, quality ingredients and lovely. Very nice atmosphere, classy while still welcoming and comfy...we had a larger group and we felt like we could stay and chat for another drink to sit and enjoy our company.

The interior decor is very inviting, open & warm ambiance. Upon entry there's a piano room playing soft relaxing music. Tables have linen settings with a cute mini cast iron holder, filled with peppercorns. The menu is very limited to keep the meals fresh & ever changing. This was the FIRST time I've looked at a menu & thought "there's nothing on this menu I was really drawn to".The New York strip , & layered potatoes was tasty (medium to perfection). The Norma (eggplant) was so/so. These sauce was a little bland & chilled, the pasta was undercooked & the eggplant was sparse. The wine is delicious. There front parking is under construction so park on the south end to walk in. (North walkway blocked).Trying not to be overly picky but, while enjoying the decor & looking at the finer details, I noticed the trim board used has the nail holes & sticker still on the PVC. I feel like if you're going to present this type of environment (beautiful & elegant) make sure all the "i's" are dotted & "t's" are crossed. Our waiter, Gabriel, is attentive & professional!

If you enjoy great service as part of your dining experience, this is probably not the right place for you. I hosted a group of 9 adults for a special dinner celebration at Famiglia this evening, on the final night of Restaurant Week. Our overall dining experience went into a steady decline after a wonderful hostess got us seated, and after we put in our food selections. For context, the restaurant was about 1/2 to 3/4 full, so not slammed. Several ordered off the fixed Restaurant Week menu, and others off their standard menu. The food was good, but portions were on the smaller side, as others have mentioned. The front of house service was the absolute miss here. In the midst of our dinner, our waiter basically disappeared. Orders weren't correct, and we had to ask other staff for assistance after waiting for a very extended period of time. Even the dessert course was fumbled, and by the time our waiter emerged, half the table had already eaten theirs while the rest of us waited. Then our coffee orders were incorrect. What's most unfortunate is that the poor service put a cloud over two families celebrating a very special occasion. As a CEO, I entertain clients quite frequently, and I like to give my business to small, local restaurants. Having just opened an office in Scottsdale last year as part of expanding my firm into AZ, I was eager to find some great additions for my Scottsdale restaurants list during Restaurant Week.Unfortunately, given the poor service experience tonight, Famiglia will not be on the list.
