This place is awesome! I booked a reservation for 12 people for a birthday lunch and they treated us so well. They had the table set up nicely when we arrived and our server Marco took such great care of us. The food is delicious! I highly recommend the octopus. Everyone in my party enjoyed their dishes. At the end of the meal they brought each celebrant a free dessert and came out dancing with sparklers and music. It was such a great way to celebrate. Definitely check this place out. It's fantastic!

El Chullo Peruvian Restaurant is, without a doubt, the best Peruvian food in the valley. Their ceviches are incredibly fresh, and the lomo saltado is my absolute favorite dish. One thing I would love to see on the menu in the future is Aji de Gallina, as that's really the only thing I think they're missing. I'm obsessed with their alfajores, especially the ones made by the sweet girl who makes the really large ones for special occasions. She adds a special touch that makes them unforgettable.Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Peruvian cuisine!

I went here once for a friend's birthday a few months ago and I didn't have to think twice to get my friends to come back again for mine! The Peruvian food is so good here! I have yet to order something I didn't like. The arroz con camaron is delicious. It reminds me a bit of paella. I know it's not, but I enjoy it regardless. It's flavorful and rich! The plantains are sweet and just right. The fried yucca was a great appetizer, and everyone wanted us to share with them.We couldn't decide on which ceviche to order so we did the trio sampler. It was light and refreshing and fun to try different types. The Classico was my favorite out of the three, followed by the carretillero ceviche, and then the Nikkei. My husband wanted more protein so he ordered the anticuchos, marinated beef hearts. It was tender and savory and not gamey at all. We would definitely order this one again as an appetizer. The empanadas were probably the best we've ever eaten. Our whole table was beaming over them and were pondering ordering dozens of them to go. We did not since we were full by the end of the meal, but perhaps next time!As far as cocktails go, I was the only one that enjoyed one today. The Tropical Chilcano is unique with lychee puree, raspberry infused pisco and lime juice. It is dangerously good, but I loved it so much last time that I had to have one again today! Cheers!!

Wanted some Peruvian since I had some in DC & MIAMI. Came across this place on Yelp & and see high ratings. I pulled up to this place tonight, and it was a vibe. The restaurant is very spacious & bright colors.. the made sure to embrace their culture with the decor, that'sto 0 real dope. was greeted right away by this young man & got seated right away. It was slow Thursday night, so I expected services to be fast & food to be on point. The same dude who greeted me at the door offered me some water & corn popcorn, i think. I never had it before & I enjoyed it. The server was dope. I forgot her, took my order right away. I ordered Lomo Saltado with fries & side lemonade. All I can say is that shit was good!!! It was well seasoned, hot & flavored. I forgot to take a picture. That's how good it was. If I'm ever back in AZ, ILL definitely come back here again..

Second visit to this location and I still can't find one negative thing to say. We ordered the Yucas Fritas, Anticuchos, Ceviche Clásico, "Leche de Tigre" and the De La Selva su Encanto and of course a couple of Cusqueña Negros! Everything was delicious again and all the staff were awesome!

Ok, this is now going to my go-to Peruvian restaurant in AZ. I've been to two other places in PHX(one is El Chullo in other locations) and two in Tucson and this place was by far the BEST!First of all, the fact they have Pulpo al Olivo already won my heart!! Food overall was excellent! I've eaten at MANY Peruvian restaurants including ones in Peru as well so I think I know how to judge Peruvian food pretty well. I had Pescado a lo macho(special of the day) for entree. From the moment I walked in, service was top notch. The host welcomed me and bf with a smile. Servers explained the menu and their special in a friendly manner. Food runners were nice as well. Everyone was friendly and efficient. Will definitely drive there from Tucson every time we crave Peruvian food from now on!

New location is way bigger and has better parking. The decor on the outside and the inside is nice. Customer service was attentive. For the food is tough for me knowing better Peruvian food came here with higher hopes. The anticuchos lacked a bit of flavor, they didn't feel fresh. The jalea mixta was a bit plain the seasoning for the seafood could have been better, crunchier, a lime on the side would have been good too. The tallarines with the lomo were okay. Overall the food is okay. I would say for what it was the price is a on the high end. If you have not tried Peruvian food this would be great.

This place is genuinely next level! It's not just the best Peruvian spot in Phoenix, but In my opinion one of the best restaurant experiences in the whole state. Every time I've brought friends here, it's all they talk about for weeks.
