Located in Scottsdale at Shea Boulevard and Scottsdale Road, Course Restaurant embodies a philosophy that elevates food into an artform. Led by Chef Cory Oppold and an adept culinary team, the dining experience is a captivating exploration that stimulates both taste buds and visual senses. Their dedication to utilizing seasonal produce and creating a progressive flavor journey was beautifully exemplified in their "CHILAQUILES" dish--featuring Soft Scrambled Egg, Tortilla Pudding, Chipotle Crema, Red Onion, Avocado, and Cotija--a culinary masterpiece that tantalizes every sense. Course Restaurant stands out as a favorite destination for a special date, offering an enchanting culinary odyssey for those seeking a captivating and memorable dining experience with your favorite person.

We came here Saturday evening for an anniversary dinner and were extremely impressed. The restaurant itself is unassuming and tucked away in a strip mall but it might be one of the most exciting culinary things going on in Scottsdale. The summer menu is impressively fresh with nothing feeling heavy. Dishes are on the complicated side and we discovered the true magic is getting a bit of every ingredient in every bite. We didn't love every single course but they were all artfully combined and presented. Each dish is a work of art. Service was great and our server took us back to the kitchen to meet Chef which was unexpected and neat. The only negative things I can say about the evening are... I had a dish with shrimp that was overcooked which was a shame because the shrimp would have been amazing otherwise. The gift bag at the end is confusing. It contained two bottles of water and two tiny cookies. This is definitely a solid option and we will be returning.

Came for Morning Would experience. Super nice ambiance, nestled within the strip mall/restaurants. The service was great and server was attentive but wouldn't smile for the life of him. We went for Sunday brunch and the patio was full but the inside dining area was free. I appreciated that the food was all pretty light on additional salt, highlighting the ingredients themselves. It was on the pricey end - $100 per person with tax and tip (mainly paying for the service) since the arrangement of ingredients was on the simpler side and all dishes were 3-4 bites, so a few of the guys were pretty hungry after.

This is a review for their Sunday brunch concept! We tried their most recent menu and it started off great but each course felt more ordinary as we moved along. I think we paid for fresh ingredients, great service, and an elevated atmosphere. Sitting inside is also much nicer than sitting on the patio imo since it was a regular patio right in between Pita Jungle and Coconuts Fish cafe.Course 1//Potato Latke: Started off strong with delicious salmon on a warm potato latke. The chive creme fraiche was yummy.Course 2//Tuna tataki: Tuna was fresh and well flavored. Not much done to the watermelon or jicama, felt like just cut slices.Course 3//Warm asparagus salad: Pretty good, but the creme fraiche felt really pretty similar to course 1. Flavors were nice and savory.Course 4//Shakshouka: This is where the dishes started going downhill for me. Felt and tasted ordinary for the most part. The bread crumbs did add a crunchy texture contrast which was nice.Course 5//Monte Cristo: Sadly, it was like a ham & cheese sandwich with fancy cheese. Tasted exactly what it looked like and folks at our table said they could make something similar at home. It was good, but not impressive or special. And the same creme fraiche showed up again.Course 6//Carnitas Huevos Rancheros: Another dish that made us wonder why this whole meal was $75/pp. It tasted fine.Course 7//Milk & Cereal: A fun play on cereal. Panna cotta was nice but again, simple when we expected something more for a highly rated restaurant like Course. Cereal came in a box and was a pie crust with some dried berries. Toys inside the box were fun.Overall, we enjoyed half the meal. Again, service is great. Friendly. Courses paced a bit far out so you have time to chat with company. We expected a bit more for the price point and would not recommend to big eaters as you might still be hungry after as portions were small. Friend mentioned the previous brunch menu was a bit more special.

Small place in a strip mall. Very clean and not super busy when we went. Sat inside. Our waiter and service in general was phenomenal. The portions are small - really small. It's incredibly well thought out and some unique dishes. A very cool date spot. Big drink selection. Not sure that it would be great for a big party but a date spot yes. Expensive but worth it for a one time deal.

Had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Course. Highly recommend for both food and service. Great teamwork made our dinner a delight. Loved all the bites in the 5 course testing menu. Glad my husband was open to testing out the options opposite my choices so we really got to try everything! Left feeling full! (For years we have celebrated our anniversary at another incredible PHX restaurant known for its multi course experience but very happy to discover another great option when we are in town!)

We went to the brunch on Sunday the cleverly call Morning Would. Service was impeccable and the space gorgeous. The first course was the biscuit and gravy take and was phenomenal. Frittata and quiche served back to back was a little similar... the following sous vide egg with smoked caper was delicious. The egg on top expertly and carefully cooked. Yolk perfectly runny. Chilaquiles missed for me and I was excited for it. Missed a heartier corn tortilla note. Corned beef hash plate was ok... but another sous vide egg. One is enough for me in the menu especially with frittata and quiche. This egg white was still a little gelatinous. Beignets and panna cotta passable. I'm sure better for those that have the sweet tooth I lack. Would try dinner here as I can see the skill, innovation and service but this menu was a little 'egg heavy one trick pony' for the price.

Outstanding experience! We had the 10 course tasting menu. Every plate had at least one unique taste. The Duck Ham and house made pretzel with goat cheese are examples that were on the 2024 Winter menu. The room is attractive and comfortable. The staff is attentive and helpful. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with ample parking.

One of the most fun and delicious brunch experience - definitely a must go place for any foodie! We had the 7-course brunch menu, although each serving was small, each bite had a mouth full of flavor. Everything was so artistically presented on the plate.

So good we came twice! My fiancé brought me here as a surprise for my birthday & I loved every moment. We opted for the 10 course with the wine pairing and did not disappoint. The service was impeccable & we loved the ambiance. The complexity and variety of flavors for the dishes was wonderfully executed with each course. We met the amazing chef at the end of the night which was an extra special treat. While at dinner I learned they also offered a course brunch which sounded so amazing to me so I booked a reservation for the next day immediately. So many amazing flavors & the drinks got me over my hangover. I'm so excited to go back and bring friends so they too can experience this food art. Shout out to the entire restaurant because everyone was lovely & they certainly went above and beyond to make my night especially special.
