The entire southern community is very disappointed with this place. The food is not soul food but more than reheated leftovers from the week prior. Absolutely disgusting. We spent over $90 and found a hair in the Catfish batter. I hope we don't get food poisoning from eating here. We got a refund! Please don't waste your time or money with this nonsense and garbage! Sad asf...

REVIEW FOR THE VEGAN PORTION OF THIS COMMUNITY KITCHEN:If I had my way, it is no star. & Vegan Me Dog & Cluck Cluck Chicken (I've tried both) along with The Vegan Egg & Vegan My Pasta offerings, would be removed from this establishment & the Uber Eats platform. My foodie brain is so over restaurants adding Veggie/Vegan options to their menu & not having the wherewithal to create & prepare good-tasting plant-based food. & sharing the 'Soul Food" kitchen to prepare non-meat foods as many other eateries have pivoted to. My perception - is for more sales as opposed to good-crafted V/V options. I've tried both the Cluck Cluck/Vegan Me Dog which is housed inside CMSF. I have no issues with expanding businesses & or being part of a collective kitchen...yet get it right before you launch. Both experiences simply sucked:Cluck Cluck's Chicken Sandwich was horrific with huge slices of raw onions, same with the steak tomato that was an old, soggy & burnt version of bacon - the patty itself was trash. After my Uber comment of disdain, CCC provided me with a $5 Promo Code so I tried VMD. Vegan Me Dog - just look at the picture - & the patty was bigger trash - no words. & my reiteration of disdain sent me another $5 Promo Code which got deleted. Absolutely not sustainably quality food/preparation nor worth the ridiculous prices. I won't ever support this communal, horrible replica of Veggie/Vegan offerings again...& do not recommend this place for nothing plant-based related.

Everything tasted reheated from last night's leftovers. The premium Mac n cheese tasted like box Mac with cheese wiz. I ordered online for delivery and paid $40 including fees. Wasted money. I would not recommend, save your money

My bf says I'm outrageous for spending $21 on this, but I think that's debatable lol Again, the lemonade is my absolute favorite! I have no issue at all spending $7.50 for this, it's soooooo delicious! I tried to try a different flavor this time around, but the Berry Prickly Pear has my heart! Overall, I enjoyed the hot link sandwich. I give it a 4/5 as I wasn't too keen on the spices used in the link. But, the link was spicy! It had my lips burning lol I loved the bread it was on, and though the pickle seemed like an odd addition, it was tasty! Also, they gave me ketchup for the link when I much preferred mustard, but that's just me.I enjoyed the potato salad! That's a 5/5 for me! No complaints there!

I've never been to a ghost kitchen before and I just so happened to drive past this one. The menue was so extensive I had even a hard time ordering everything looked so good. If it taste as good as it looks ill deff be coming here often. Edit: Food was great but sadly I ordered an additional protein on top of my loaded potato and it was missing good but now I paid an extra $4 and had no pulled pork!

My order was smothered porkchops, fried cabbage, 3 chicken wings, banana pudding and a coke. The smothered porkchops and chicken wings were too salty! The porkchops tasted like it was starting to spoil. Is this why it was doused with salt? I couldn't eat the pork chops. Oh, the fried cabbage was salty too the color was brown like gravy nothing like the picture on the website. My order was over $50!!! What a waste! Almost forgot I got cornbread. I was disappointed in the whole meal. There is a quote. You have one time to make a first impression.Food: 1/5

I ordered food from Uber Eats, in Phoenix, Az. It was listed at Certified Tender Steak House. I t cost $50 for a steak and a "shareable" salad. The steak was maybe 8 oz (normal size, half inch) for $36 and the "shareable salad" was $16. The salad was not even a full size salad for one person. I looked up the company and realized that it was a DBA for Charlie Mae's Soul Food. This may not be illegal, but it should. A cheap, low budget, trash restaurant creating a DBA to trick people into buying trash food. If I wanted to buy a steak from a soul food restaurant, I would... Problem is, the main ingredient in soul food is SALT. I don't subscribe to the traditional high blood pressure lifestyle that soul foods creates, so I wouldn't choose to purchase my food from this location. The steak tasted like it was soaked in sodium for 25 days. The $16 "shareable" Caesar salad was a "side salad". The owner's of this restaurant are scumbags. I will be disputing with Uber Eats and if they don't fully refund me, I will be contacting my credit card company for a refund. Straight TRASH. I will likely walk into the location tomorrow to let them know how TRASH there food is.
