Cafe Brookwood

Before the new owners, the food was GREAT. Vegetarian options, variety and the flavor was absolutely amazing. I believe Alex was the chef and I truly miss him. I am writing this review and giving 2 stars because of the new owners. First off, the menu is extremely limited. The owners are Indian and have put 2 Indian dishes on the menu, which are delicious. The issue is that they only have 1 Indian item available at all times and everything else is a maybe. (Literally everything else on the menu is a maybe). Absolutely no vegetarian options, aside from salad. Always out of naan bread and the garbanzo beans curry is never available, as that is the only vegetarian option to pick from. Second, the female owner always has a tone. She isn't very nice and is hardly approachable. The male, he is nicer and more accommodating. The male cook in the back is also rude and seems to be unhappy at everything. You can tell that he is very frustrated with himself (or others) and takes it out on the customers. Third, they... lie? Lol seems funny, but really. They have shared that they would be open until 8 pm on multiple occasions, only to find out they closed at 3. It's so inconvenient because it's the only place to grab food in the building. Also, they are always on the phone talking and sometimes don't even pay attention to what's going on. One time, the female lady asked me who took a box of food in the pick up area because she was busy talking angon the phone. In general, I think there is room for improvement. Just not a place I would recommend right now.

Had Café Brookwood for lunch again and got the chili cheese dog. This is a delicious meal, the hotdogs was grilled, chili, and toasted bun. I was amazed at the size and taste. One of the best chili cheese dogs I've had. Only downside is, the bun fell apart.

Very convenient location for someone who works in the building. Cheesesteak is best thing I've ordered so far.

I work in the building and I just called them up.I asked what the daily special is.IT'S TACOS! Yeah, one dollar each... HOORAY!

Delicious salad! Huge salad with nicely seasoned chicken.And their Indian food is awesome too!

Owners are very rude. The cook is even worse. Always out of product. Wish there was an alternative option in the building. This cafe, owners and employees are the reason why I pack a meal.

Terri and Alex are the sweetest! Anything on their Menu is mouthwatering and delicious!!
