The bread that they put it on with outstanding had some greens and off the fine tomatoes and side of potato chips. Cannot complain and what is a little loud but not too bad and was a good meal. "We were in the area for an appointment a bit early so we did some driving around checking out the businesses in the area. Phoenix Phresh caught our eye. We decided to to check them out. Super clean establishment with so many items that sounded so good to choose from. We grabbed a menu so we could stop by for lunch after our appointment. They had to be a great spot seeing the sign people loved them on Yelp right? Thr parking lot gets busy. The service was super friendly and food came fast! We ordered a few salads and smoothies. Everything was delicious. The chicken and dressing were so yummy. Even my mom was impressed and she is picky. The drinks were so yummy. Our meals were satisfying and filled our tummies. We will definitely be back!"

We've visited and tried a vast array of Hellenic-style establishments all over the Valley, but the Palms Mediterranean Kitchen stands out as one of our top ten choices for dining and enjoying this gastronomy. The moment you walk in the place alive, whether full or empty, you feel a vibe of the vast openness, congenial spaciousness and happy brightness that exude comfortable casual. The air is alive and wafting of the aromas of unique Greek ingredients. Airborne scents of Coriander, Allspice, and Cardamom entice the senses, but when you begin the eating experience, you'll fully appreciate and enjoy the Clove, Nutmeg and Sumac on your palate. While we contemplated what to dine from their extensive and diverse menu, we sipped on a non-Greek Arnold Palmer and Iced Tea. Having taken a little time (actually more than a little time) deciding, we were set to try something other than what is your typical Greek fare in most places of Gyros or Souvlaki! We decided on a delightful lunch that included their tender roasted and juicy chicken slowly cooked on a kátheto kreatoparagogís, served with rice, a Greek pilaf-style yummy yummy rice, and an incredibly aromatic and tasty garlic sauce. I had the Lamb Chop Plate with Pita that included five (count them, five) mouthwatering French-style cut lamb chops infused and seasoned to perfection with traditional herbs and spices, and sided with rice, and perfectly seasoned and prepared grilled vegetables - really, really good. We highly recommend this fab place to anyone who gets a hankering for excellent Greek. !"

Both were very well presented and tasted great. This is a unique cafe find with very unique menu that I have never seen anywhere else. This place is maybe the best cafe I have ever been to in Phoenix City. Great experience. Service: The staff is one of the nicest you would interact with. Very welcoming and they go above and beyond with everything. We in fact went a day early but we reached after closing time. They offered us an iced tea instead for free since their kitchen was closed.Ambiance: Great interior decor and unique take on every element of the place. It's romantic as well as great for kids and business folks. Hygiene: Top-notch cleanliness overall from seating to the counters, everywhere. Price: The price may be a little over average for the food items at least but it's about the quality of the items and also very unique menu items. "Why is this place not packed to the brim? The Sub Shop is amazing. They have an amazing selection of breads - they aren't limited to subs. Plus, it's quick and it tastes so good. I recently got myself a turkey and avocado sandwich on multigrain bread with lettuce and tomato. The only thing keeping it from perfection were sprouts, but the lettuce gave it a nice crunch regardless. I can't wait to go back the next time I "forget" to make myself lunch. Quick. Easy. Not only is it based on sustainable, local produce sourced daily, their prices are insane. I bought a huge plate of salad, fruit cup, large iced coffee and a coffee cake for barely 8 dollars. And it was all huge servings and delicious.The atmosphere is crisp and clean and decidedly modern without being too cheeky or smirky about it. You still have all the food stations you remember from state run institutions like the salad bar, the pizza bar, the hot meal bar and the deli counter. The baked goods and coffee stand is a little across the ways. I rode my bike from work, excited after reading about the cafe in Edible Phoenix that I could finally have a quick lunch place to go to that wasn't fast food. There were helpful signs around the driveway but hard to find parking for my bike. I was overwhelmed by the set up when I first got in and probably freaked out the poor employee ordering a Greek Salad at the salad stations b/c I was overwhelmed by the size of his entree. However, for $3.25, I got a huge half salad that had: quinoa, flax seed, sunflower seeds, local goat cheese, fresh cut peppers, tomatoes and spring mix with a just made cilantro dressing. Incredible. The fruit cup I bought for $1.75 tasted like real fruit, they had plenty of soy milk for my iced organic coffee and the coffee cake was delicious and huge; I shared it with 3 co-workers! It tasted truly home-made too, you could actually taste the egg, butter, milk, brown sugar, etc that made the silky textured dessert hard to resist.The phrase is over-used a lot, but considering very few people know about this place, it is truly a hidden gem and worth you getting to know it and their admirable mission. After all, you gotta love a lunch place with compost-able plates and cups!"

"I stopped by here earlier today with my mother-in-law, wife and our twins for our morning coffee. Every Sunday morning we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this morning we decided to go to coldwater coffeehouse and bakery. This coffee shop is located in old town Avondale and the outside of it is nondescript. We even had a tough time finding it and without their sign on E Western Ave, might have had even more trouble. The inside of this shop is cute with hardwood floors and a couple of different dining rooms. They have a place with fresh vegetables for sale and then an area with baked goods as well. Their coffee area also has a display case filled with baked goods. For my coffee on this morning I went with a honey and cinnamon latte while both my mother in law and wife went with iced peaches and cream lattes. Finally my twins picked a three pack of churro muffins to split between themselves and with the last one for their cousin later. The muffins here were quite good as evidenced by the fact that neither of my twins wanted to share and they both finished theirs respectively. While my son wasn't paying attention I snuck a bite and it was good as it was moist and sweet with some cinnamon and sugar on the outside. My coffee here ended up being delicious too. It reminded of a horchata like base with the cinnamon flavor present but with honey flavor coming through as well. Then the coffee was also present and came through as a rich background flavor. My wife also really enjoyed her cold peaches and cream latte.The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everything that we had here, both the baked goods and our coffee was great."

I wrote a review earlier and deleted it shortly after (before I saw the business response so I'm assuming they responded to tell me the same thing I'm saying now) because I saw a recent photo that must be on their counter somewhere saying that their brown sugar boba is a crystal boba. I think it might help if on their main menu they call it "Brown Sugar Crystal Boba" to make it more clear (the way it's written on the small sign). Right now on the main menu it is called Brown Sugar Boba so I thought I was getting the chewy tapioca kind that I am used to ordering at other places in Tempe. Now I know for next time."

The second time was this morning close to when they opened, because I was so excited to bring my husband to try their sandwiches. We both left with our tummies full and happy, telling the owners that their sandwiches are simply amazing.I've ordered the prosciutto sandwich twice now. Aside from layers of quality prosciutto, there is a truffle pecorino spread, burrata cheese, basil pesto, sun dried tomatoes, arugula, balsamic vinaigrette, and olive oil hugged in the middle of a delicious focaccia bread. My husband enjoyed the Waygu beef pastrami sandwich. This one has Waygu beef pastrami, the same truffle pecorino spread, aged provolone, and roasted red bell peppers, but he also requested spicy peppers added as well. He said the sandwich just felt so perfect and balanced in ratio with the crispy yet somehow also soft focaccia bread and the rich Waygu beef pastrami. He was so impressed. I mean, he had some of my left overs last time, but eating it there fresh and in person is a whole different experience!I work in a dental office nearby, and I've told all my patients to come here. We are so lucky to have a local place like this with a couple who love making this delicious wholesome food amidst all the chains that pour over Bell Road. I will choose local every time if I could. It just hits differently. It is worth the extra."

It was close to 2pm on a Friday and I was hungry for lunch...I looked at the menu and decided to go with No 20, and I was not disappointed. I did not realize that they mix all the ingredients together inside the sandwich until I took my first bite, but was pleasantly surprised! Each bite included the turkey, bacon, cheddar, avocado and sweet heat mustard sauce. And, of course, the bread was perfectly toasted and so delicious!I went with the kale salad as my side, but admittedly, got distracted and did not get to try it. "With one of my all time favorites, Arcadia Farms café, officially closing, I am really sad... The only bright spot is that the neighboring sister business, Arcadia Farms marketplace, is still up and running, and it's the perfect place to stop in for freshly prepared salads, sandwiches, baked goods, amazing, desserts, hostess gifts, and even family meals. I have been ordering from the family dinner menu for quite some time now, and I have never been disappointed. I find the portion size generous, and the food is always great quality. I typically pick up a salad for lunch when I stop in to pick up the family dinner as well! If you have a sweet tooth, you cannot go wrong with any of the pastries from the marketplace. The baby cakes have become a family favorite... carrot is my absolute favorite, but coconut cream is a close second. The sprinkle cake is adorable for a festive occasion, and the tuxedo cake is always a winner as well. And although I starved myself at work all day in anticipation for dinner, I still had to take my nachos to go. Holy smokes was that a darn tasty meal. I recommend the chicharon torta hands down. If you don't get it, your mouth will never know true happiness. Don't deprive yourself. It's so good that even when I removed my contacts later on in the evening and my eyeballs were on fire from all the spices leftover on my fingertips, I was still thinking about my leftover nachos instead of flushing my retinas out with water. "I've wanted to come here a for a while now and I'm glad we did. My boyfriend and I got a gyro and a 10" Philly with onions and mushrooms with fries. The Philly was chalk full of meat and fillings, it tasted great, especially with the melted cheese. The size of the sandwich was "just right" as well, with left overs for tomorrow. The gyro was good as well but I think it could have had a bit more meat. It was a standard gyro, not great but not bad either. It hit the spot. The fries literally tasted like McDonald's fries. We half wondered if the vendor for the McDonald's next to the restaurant supplies their fries too, they are that similar. Next time I'd love to try a boba if the pearls are made and ready. I will definitely be back for a burger, and some different sides."

There was no dine in but were allowed past the security door to place our order. We got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza which was around $10. I believe we got a 10in pizza. The wait was about 20 mins and we were on with the pizza. There was plenty of sauce and cheese and some Italian seasonings on top. I wish there were a bit more toppings but can't complain for $10. The crust was not too thin and not too thick, it was perfect for us. The sauce and everything on it was fresh and it was really good!I probably wouldn't go out of my way to grab food but if I'm the area wouldn't hesitate to go back!"

I did not know so much history from a small sub sandwich pizza shop name, McGurkee's.Once you step in, you can smell the sesame being toasted on bread. I personally tried the meatball Italian sandwich. The texture of the bread was crunchy and just right with the taste of sesame seeds. The meatballs were soft inside and nice cooked outside layer with warm battered pizza sauce. The price for the sandwich ran about $10 for a 6 inch. Without planning lunch I got to experience a little bit of Phoenix history and a good tasty meatball Italian sandwich."

If you have been to any of the Caldwell County BBQ locations, you know that they have the best BBQ already. So, let's talk about the atmosphere... This area is going to be like a theme park. Pecan Lake will be a very cool family hangout. You'd better go before everyone else finds out about it. Bring a group with you from the food and vibe.Finally, customer service. Steve Sellers is the manager of this Caldwell County BBQ location, and I will drive the extra miles just to get BBQ because he sets the tone. Here's the story. I roll up and see all the construction, three parking lots, and a few signs, but I'm not sure where to park nor where to enter. I called the restaurant, and Steve answered. He says, "Where are you, and I'll come get you in the golf cart?" Boom! Just like that, my friends and I are being dropped off at the front door. Yeah, I'm coming back with a large group. The food is fantastic. The complex is freaking awesome, and the customer service rocks. Thanks, Steve, for making this a memorable experience."
