"It's nice to have a family run restaurant with all of the restaurant group places around. It's clear that they care and want to do a good job. The bread service was very good with fluffy ciabatta and plenty of butter. They made chicken francese for me even though it was not on the menu. Our tablemates had chicken Parmesan, salmon penne and smoked chicken rigatoni - they all liked their dishes as did I.The cheesecake for dessert was very smooth and light even though it was a very large piece. There are a few things that would help this become a much more desirable choice:1. Add some warmth to the venue. It is very sterile with fluorescent looking lights, big open spaces between tables and a bar that reminds one of a sushi restaurant. It just doesn't feel homey at all. Some warm lighting and not white paint would do wonders. Although the owner doesn't like a crowded room or adding more tables, patrons prefer the cozy feeling of a place that looks more intimate. It looks like they can't afford more tables the way it is set up now. 2. They need to season the calamari with some salt and they were a tad too chewy as well.3. The marinara sauce was watery and lacked richness.4. Add cocktails being available (and the price) on the menu.5. Clear the empty tables of their dirty dishes much more quickly - it feels gross sitting next to an uncleared table."
"Started off with a tomato cream soup which was really good not spicy not too hot had the right amount of croutons in it and came with a side of bread for dipping purposes. No complaints at all. For dinner I had a tuna salad sandwich or something really good whatever they put in the tuna salad recipes. The bread that they put it on with outstanding had some greens and off the fine tomatoes and side of potato chips. Cannot complain and what is a little loud but not too bad and was a good meal. A nice change from the junk and grease"

"I love this place. Came here with coworkers to celebrate a new opportunity. I wont be in the area anymore so we came here. I love the look now since it was remodeled. I think it is more dinning friendly. The ambiance is just great. The table service is a great new touch too. The server did a great job. I got the chicken, turkey, mac & cheese and beans. The food was excellent as always. They do not have koolaid anymore though. I will have to drive up here on the weekends to get that delicious chicken and turkey."
"Stopped in here, a first time visit for me and the wife.Ordered the BBQ brisket and the wife had the chicken salad. Both of us were pretty impressed with the food!My only comment is that the bread on the chicken salad was cold."
"The food here is perfect for a family meal or lunch option. I didn't get a picture of the menu but these two options are there most popular options. Salads are fresh. Everything we have gotten is good. Our sons like it here if they need carbs after practice. Never have actually tried the cookie buckets or brownies though. The service is friendly and place is clean. It's a takeout spot so don't expect fancy frills. Food in the bucket but good basic pasta, garlic bread, various proteins, sauces, salads, subs and desserts. I do wish they had more lighting at night. It's hard to tell if it's open and that little plaza is just too dark. Great concept when you want pasta quick or want something other than fast food burgers. Give it a try you just might make it part of your rotation if you're busy like me."
"Such a cute ambiance, we couldn't wait to try here when we first saw them being constructed.Nice wood decor, it is so inviting. Service matches this inviting ambiance. They are friendly and lovely.I tried their burger and I really loved the flavor of sauce they used. I added chips on the side as extra and their chips/thin fries were so tasty. So crispy on outside but yet soft on the inside. Green sauce added nice kick to the chips.Outside patio has mister and we were able to enjoy outdoor dining while it's over 100 degrees outside. They have nice looking sandwiches and salads. I can't wait to come back to try more dishes from here."
"First off, this is a college cafeteria and it makes no qualms about that. Secondly, this is an amazing lunch place for foodies on a budget. Not only is it based on sustainable, local produce sourced daily, their prices are insane. I bought a huge plate of salad, fruit cup, large iced coffee and a coffee cake for barely 8 dollars. And it was all huge servings and delicious. The atmosphere is crisp and clean and decidedly modern without being too cheeky or smirky about it. You still have all the food stations you remember from state run institutions like the salad bar, the pizza bar, the hot meal bar and the deli counter. The baked goods and coffee stand is a little across the ways. I rode my bike from work, excited after reading about the cafe in Edible Phoenix that I could finally have a quick lunch place to go to that wasn't fast food. There were helpful signs around the driveway but hard to find parking for my bike. I was overwhelmed by the set up when I first got in and probably freaked out the poor employee ordering a Greek Salad at the salad stations b/c I was overwhelmed by the size of his entree. However, for $3.25, I got a huge half salad that had: quinoa, flax seed, sunflower seeds, local goat cheese, fresh cut peppers, tomatoes and spring mix with a just made cilantro dressing. Incredible. The fruit cup I bought for $1.75 tasted like real fruit, they had plenty of soy milk for my iced organic coffee and the coffee cake was delicious and huge; I shared it with 3 co-workers! It tasted truly home-made too, you could actually taste the egg, butter, milk, brown sugar, etc that made the silky textured dessert hard to resist. The phrase is over-used a lot, but considering very few people know about this place, it is truly a hidden gem and worth you getting to know it and their admirable mission. After all, you gotta love a lunch place with compost-able plates and cups!"
"If you're craving a sandwich experience that transcends the ordinary, Surf City Sandwiches is your go-to spot! I recently tried their Vulcan Mind Melt, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of spectacular. This sandwich is a perfect symphony of flavors--tender, seasoned beef piled high with fresh veggies and a zesty sauce that ties everything together. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness that left me wanting more. The ambiance at Surf City is laid-back and welcoming, making it the ideal spot for a casual lunch or a quick dinner. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring that you get your meal promptly and with a smile. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Vulcan Mind Melt alone is worth the visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!"
"It's hard to find a good breakfast spot in this part of the Phoenix Valley, but I had to get out of surprise to do it. Bit of a drive but worth it. I've had the chicken fried steak breakfast with eggs and I also had the sausage and biscuits side both are really good, we also had an amazing cinnamon roll.Nice atmosphere clean place very friendly. Staff and reasonable prices. will definitely be back."
"After eying Zookz since they opened, I finally decided to pop in and check it out. It was close to 2pm on a Friday and I was hungry for lunch...I looked at the menu and decided to go with No 20, and I was not disappointed. I did not realize that they mix all the ingredients together inside the sandwich until I took my first bite, but was pleasantly surprised! Each bite included the turkey, bacon, cheddar, avocado and sweet heat mustard sauce. And, of course, the bread was perfectly toasted and so delicious!I went with the kale salad as my side, but admittedly, got distracted and did not get to try it. I will have to return to do so next visit, which will likely be for breakfast as No 88 is calling my name:No. 88 (VEGETARIAN)2 egg white frittata, parmesan, kale (tossed with carrots), tomatoes, avocado, and zookz zinger cream cheese sauce. I love that this is a fast, casual concept, conveniently located, with friendly service, moderate prices, inside / outside seating, and plenty of parking. That being said, this parking lot does get crowded at prime time lunch hours. Beware and enjoy!"
"I've passed by Saketini many times and never gave it much thought, especially after the fire(?) and the burnt/closed appearance. I was craving a crunchy California roll (cause I'm basic) and it actually is really hard to find! I found a crunchy Cali roll on Saketini's menu and bf ordered a Hungry roll (Avo, cream cheese, tuna). We split beef yakisoba. Our to go order was ready within 10-15 minutes! The crunchy Cali roll was okay. It wasn't as "crunchy" as I'd have preferred. The hungry roll was decent as well. They didn't seem particularly fresh. The beef yakisoba was the best item of the three, and had decent wok hay flavor. Overall Saketini was okay. Daruma is located in the same parking lot and is significantly better!"
"We were craving some Thai food for lunch and there was a few options, but we settled on this one. This was my first time at this restaurant and there was enough parking spots on a weekend afternoon. There was one other family dining when we arrived, and a few more came while we were there. We ordered crab rangoons for our appetizers, and they came with a sweet and sour sauce. They were delicious! Crispy, hot, and creamy cheese/crab filling. For my entree, I chose the drunken noodles with tofu, spice level 4/5. My dining companion ordered their yellow curry with tofu, spice level 3/5.Our food came out and we dug in. My dish was not piping hot, but moderately warm with some hot spots in the middle. There wasn't enough sauce/flavors and the noodles were more on the mushy side. The tofu was cooked well and tasted great. My dish was not spicy, maybe a 2 or 3, so I added some Sriracha sauce. I tried the yellow curry and it was pretty good.Service was friendly and our waters were refilled appropriately. I may try different dishes if I return in the future, but in the meantime I will choose other Thai restaurants."

We had a wonderful early dinner here on Sunday. Ordered the veal parmigiana with pasta & veggies. A glass of chianti made it even more delicious. A wonderful cut of meat and great sauce on the pasta. The complimentary hot bread with butter made me happy. Who doesn't like hot, buttery bread? I had the appetizer meatball arrabbiata which was stupendously delicious. The beef /veal combination was so tasty . The meatballs were tender and saucy. I ordered a tiramisu for take out and if I have one complaint about this meal, it's that the tiramisu portion was quite small. I don't know if I'm a tiramisu hog and just wanted more or if the chef was trying to torture me. Nevertheless, I will be back to get some more delicious Italian food. Tom G. was our attentive server--old school with great manners and savoire faire. Thanks Tom!

I'm gonna give you more than you ever wanted to know about "Provele" cheese. Google it. I did. I had to google it just to spell it. See, in St. Louis...there is a staple of cheese commonly used on pizza called Provele. Provele cheese. Before I get ahead of myself, I'll strongly suggest you immediately go and try Frasher's St Louis pizza. And, of course, it's got this Provele cheese. Provele is a pasteurized cheese, melts perfectly and is delicious. Very melty. Very cheesy. But in other words, it's a well-accepted Italian Cheese-Whiz. You heard me. Italian Cheese Whiz. You can laugh, you can scoff, today I bought a large sausage pizza from Frashers and it was FRIGGIN' DELICIOUS!! Unusual. Not a standard tasting pizza. Delicious, creamy. Can't wait to go back. I got a 16" sausage, mushroom and onion, extra sauce. It was just under $30. Everything's expensive nowadays. All things considered, a real value. By the way, while, waiting for my pizza at the bar, I happen to chat with a gentleman who probably was the store manager. He was truly excited by the new pitmaster he had hired, and how proficient this person was! That's exciting! "Owner/operator" is a the best combo for the customers. And an owner/operator who is still excited by the business is even better. I'll come back for another pizza and I'll get some good bbq too!

Solid sandwiches.had the turkey with Swiss. As always an excellent pickle Spier. Got a side of the chili coleslaw and added it to our sandwich. It was a wonderful addition. Services is top-notch and it's great to see the place is getting busier and busier.

By the Bucket. They sell fried chicken by the bucket. They sell all kinds of foods like potato salad, macaroni salad, beans, and other foods by the bucket. Why not sell spaghetti by the bucket?By the bucket, sells garlic bread, pasta, and meatball subs. Let's support this local mom & pop, and encourage them to spice up their menu. Great idea for workers to come through and take some food to go. Recommended. Jordan

First time here, had lunch with friend on a Friday. You order at the station where you first walk in. By luck, we found an inside table after a customer left. Plenty of seating outside in covered patio.Friend ordered a cheeseburger and I had a steak salad. Server showed up with our food in to go bags. They returned with the lunch plated. Cheeseburger was served with a small garnish. Fries or chips are extra. Salad had steak on the side sliced. Soft drinks were either cans or bottles.Friend said his burger had no flavor other than the sauce. My food was good although prefer the steak cut up in the salad.Service was good, ambience is modern and open. Lots of dining options in area. Place is good for a quick bite. Prices on par with the area. Can say I have been here but not one of my destinations.

I knew this place was going to be decent when I walked in and spent 5 minutes looking at the menu deciding what to order. There were so many amazing options and as a picky eater I was caught off guard because usually there are only one to two options on the menu that I would eat. That was not the problem here! Ultimately, I decided on Noni's pesto chicken and I had no regrets. It was one of the best pesto sandwiches I've had in a while. It was served warm with house made chips. I loved the extra taste the oven-roasted tomatoes added. I ate half the sandwich and half the chips and was able to save the rest for leftovers, which was convenient because the prices are high. If you can make two meals out of a sandwich, the prices don't seem as bad.It was a cool place to eat at with decorations of surfboards and skateboards, it felt like I was in California. The staff was very nice and prepared our food quickly. I'm excited to return to try more sandwiches!

"We were looking for a lite lunch after walking through the Art on the Avenue. We chose Mountain View Kitchen and it was a great choice. We each had salads. I chose the Greek Salad and husband had the Chicken Caesar. Both were the perfect size. The ingredients were fresh with a good ratio of toppings to lettuce. The size of the chicken on the Caesar salad was ample. Service was excellent. I liked the mason jar glasses for water and soda. Great stop."
"The triangle of deliciousness (minus the sketchy 711) on 19th Ave and Glendale is legit. The trifecta - Thai Lotus, Authentic Liberian, and Otoyac are some of the best ethnic restaurants we have in the valley. I decided to try Thai Lotus after being blown away by the adjacent restaurants. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu. I ordered mild spiciness, but it was enough to make my nose run. I'd definitely go back again and try other items."
"Excellent meal once again. Place is packed full of people but we were seated promptly. Great service, great food!"
"I tried to walk up to make an order. Staff were nice but would not accept walk ups today. You can do a mobile check in if you have the app. I don't have the app and will consider getting it for the future. I was asked to use the drive thru. While the drive thru line seemed long (6th in line), it moved fast. I made my order of Thai salad and traditional lemonade. Staff are friendly and helpful.Their lemonade is just right! Not too sweet and not too sour, just enough lemon taste to know what it is. Good on a warm day. The chicken is somewhat spicy and still good. Good amount of ingredients including cucumbers, fresh greens, sweet red peppers and of course chicken. I have enough for later."
"Pleasantly Surprised This review is a little late coming. I visited Aioli Burger when they first opened. I wasn't sure what to think about a burger shop located inside the Fry's Marketplace however, I was pleasantly surprised, After looking over the menu we decided to go with the black and blue burge, sweet potato fries, and shakes. Everything was fresh and delicious and the serving size is very large. I can't wait to try their burger kits for grilling. I'm so happy they are in my Fry's. Very convenient"
"Simply amazing burger. This place is definitely a gem. The location certainly leaves something to be desired but the service and food is unmatched. My brother and I stopped here after my son's baseball game. The nearly flawless reviews had us eager for a burger. I went with the Western and my brother tried the Diablo. Both were excellent. Very fresh and high quality ingredients. Perfect bun, burger, toppings ratio. I love a good burger and this was the best of the best I've ever had. The onion rings and fries were also fresh and well seasoned. A slice of fresh whole made cheesecake was a perfect finish to our meal. The service was awesome. Very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean with unique decor. The National Geographic magazines on the table was a cool touch. I can now see firsthand why this place has the reviews it does. It earned every star of this one."
"This location is always the best when it comes to customer service- i'm the weirdo that is seriously obsessed with their Pasta Salad & every time im in there they figure out a way to get me exactly the craving of my dreams! The energy is so great in there & you can tell everyone that works there is so kind & loving! I really appreciate good service and smiles when it comes to supporting any business which is why the dana park location is worth the extra few miles in my drive to get my lunch :) Thank you to the lovely lady and man that helped me today on 2/11 at around 4/4:30"
"Recommend: Yes! But it is a small restaurant so I hope not everyone decide to go all at once lol. Food: amazing! Delicious and they know how to put things together. Service: great service. Sounds like family own. The husband is one for he chef and the wife works at the bar. Details:Can I tell you that this place was so good that I want to go back already? The octopus was cooked perfectly well with amazing sauces around it. So colorful. A must order dish. I hope they always have this item in the menu. The other dish I got was the seafood of the day. It has risotto rice, seafood with tomato base. So good. I'll definitely be back soon."
"We ordered off of door dash and I have to say I was not disappointed. We got the lunch special half a Caesar salad w/ chicken and a side (meatballs) and a regular spaghetti with meat sauce and chicken parm. This reminded me of dennys, sizzler or Golden Corral spaghetti which i LOVE. Don't expect high quality but it's tasty the salad was amazing."

"The green chile potato soup was to die for! The turkey avocado bacon sandwich was delicious!!! The California Cobb salad was very good, the ranch was sooo good! The chocolate mousse cake was perfect! The place was busy, but still very clean! It was a very adorable restaurant! The staff was super friendly, fast, and all were smiling!!! Always treat the staff with courtesy and respect!!!"
"Yummy, fresh and friendly. I was getting my nails yesterday and saw this place. I had not seen it before. I was happy because I love fresh sandwiches and this place is close to me. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, it made me feel comfortable right away. I ordered the veggie because I love all of the veggies on it. I added turkey (shame on me) and asked them to hold the Swiss cheese and the cream cheese. I waited less than five minutes and my order was up. I have to mention that I did not realize you get a free cookie, I thought you had to buy it. They were kind enough to give me extra because I wanted to share with my coworker. The sandwich was good. I love the taste of the 12 grain bread. The veggies were fresh! The cookie was a sweet ending to a nice lunch. I went back and told everyone, I cannot wait to come back and try the chicken salad."
"I'm not a Panera Bread "regular". I wish I'd done my homework before visiting. The service was fast and friendly. When you walk in, there are tablets on hand to place your own order, though I opted to place mine at the counter with an employee. The employee was friendly and even told me I qualified for a free cookie. I just wish she had also told me there was an option to swap out the "side".I ordered the Mac and Cheese Bread Bowl. Both the Mac and Cheese and the sourdough bread were fine. A little black pepper would have been nice, but shakers were nowhere to be found. I guess the "default" side is a piece of baguette, but that seems like carb overload. I didn't know until after placing my order that I could have swapped it for another side (the cucumber salad sounded interesting). The Chocolate Chipper Cookie was good and left me with a "chipper" smile on my face.My only other concern was the dining room cleanliness. It seemed the carpet hadn't been vacuumed and some tables hadn't been bussed in the 30 minutes or so I was there. It wasn't the worst I've seen, though it was noticeable.I may return, but next time I'll keep the carbs in check."
"When you find a gem like this place there is an internal struggle - shout it from the mountain tops, or keep it to yourself? Here I am shouting from the mountain tops- this place is too great. Service is great. Ambiance is great. Food was amazing. What else do you need? Can't wait to go back- a lot."
"World of Sourdough makes really great sandwiches! The customer service was quick and friendly and the prices are on par. We got a turkey sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese. The sandwiches are piled with meat and fixings and the bread was perfect! The Mac n cheese I would pass on but would definitely stop in again and grab another sandwich!"
"New restaurant in the Roosevelt Row area by the owners of Gadzook's Enchiladas. Let's just say it's bright and sunny inside with fun touches and colorful accents. Our server was friendly and welcoming while not being pushy. The chips were perfectly salty and the guac was good. The enchiladas were just like the ones at Gadzook's, but without as many combos. I didn't personally try any of the drinks but they had some fun looking concoctions. All in all a great addition to the area."
"We've been to Real Thai & Sushi twice since it opened. The first time, we ordered papaya salad, I ordered my favorite Pad Se Ew, and my husband ordered Chicken Gra Pow. We are both familiar with Thai spice thanks to my mom, but ordered level 2 (out of 5 according to the waitress) to be safe. We are so glad we did because, although the flavors and freshness of the dishes were great, it became uncomfortable to continue eating because both dishes were way too spicy. The atmosphere hadn't changed from the previous restaurant and the service was nice but a bit new at things, which is to be expected. The second time we went, he ordered the same dish (his favorite) and I ordered Pad Thai. We also had moo ping as an appetizer. His spice level was 1 and mine was 0. I asked for a side of dried Thai pepper so I could manage the spice level on my own but it never appeared. I ended up using the dipping sauce that accompanied the Moo Ping and it tasted delicious. His level 1 was still spicy but he really enjoyed it. To be clear, we eat and cook Thai food often so we are quite familiar with Thai spice levels and are not amateurs. I will continue to visit this restaurant, as all the dishes were quite good. I will just be mindful of the spice levels every time I visit."
"This is an excellent Italian Restaurant. My first course was the Insalata di Spinaci (Spinach Salad). The salad was delicious and perfectly dressed. The complimentary bread that came with the meal was outstanding. For the main course, I ordered Fettuccine Della Casa and Penne all' Arrabbiata, both dishes were incredible. The service at the restaurant is top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you enjoy Italian Food."
"Took my daughter here for lunch and had pesto sandwich with soup. Super delicious. I was really impressed by the courtesy and great attitude of the cashier. That is rare now a day. I came at noon on 11/4.I didn't get her name but employees like that make dining experience great. With her attitude alone I enjoyed my meal with my daughter. Give her a raise because wherever she goes she will succeed."
"I am sick today and the only thing that sounded yummy was falafel and hummus so my husband was kind enough to pick me up food from this place! They are a little expensive but good stuff and I got a really good amount of food. Pickup was easy for my husband and food was ready fast. I got the hummus and falafel with tahini and two pita. It was all really flavorful. Pita was pillowy soft, hummus was creamy, and falafel was nice and crispy! I do wish they packed the falafel separately from the hummus as it did get a bit cold, but still very good! Would come back!"
"Yummy food. I got the chicken yakisoba. So good. Also got gyzoa. The food is cooked fresh."
"Went in and picked up lunch for the office last week. Their sandwiches all looked amazing. I should have called ahead but the staff was very friendly and many regulars that stop by. Great ambiance and the Ruben was fantastic."
