"This place gets 5 stars literally for how delicious the fries were!! We stopped in initially to grab drinks at the bar but ended up ordering some food because everyone's food who came out around us looked amazing! I don't regret our choice at all and wish we were more hungry to try some of the other things on the menu. Service was great. The bar is really cute and reminded me very much of the bars I visited while I was in Ireland. It is a little bit hot/muggy inside. It would be much more enjoyable if it was cooler indoors."

"My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid. The food is always fresh and hot. There's many options for different platters. I don't believe that the fish is well seasoned so I always add hot sauce. The hush puppies are my favorite. They're nice and crispy but nice and fluffy on the inside. Service is always great. It's a check in and call your number system. There's plenty of indoor seating. There's no real decor! It's pretty much dining and open seating! Definitely worth a try if you visit Arizona l."

"UPDATE: I took my mom here and it was less salty than my first visit. (She loved it!) ------The moment I walked into Momma's Soul Fish & Chicken, I was greeted with an inviting welcome and a smile. Not your usual "hi, welcome" muscle-memory-programmed-response; but the type of welcome that actually makes you feel like you're part of the family! Absolutely LOVE that.By the time I arrived (at 12:15 PM on a Sunday), some items were already sold out. While SOME folks might get upset about that- I typically take it as an indication of how good the food is. I approached the counter, where I was happily greeted again by Desiree. Let me tell you a bit about Desiree: She is the type of person that makes you feel like you've been lifelong friends within a few minutes. I'm serious...by the time I finished ordering my food, I was hoping to get invited to the next cookout! (And her friendly personality was the same with everyone in the restaurant. So welcoming and positive!)But let me swerve back...While ordering, I made my intentions clear to Desiree:"It's my first time here and I want to try a little bit of everything... what'dya suggest?"She walked me through the menu and offered all sorts of helpful/yummy recommendations, which I gladly accepted...(you know, since we're such close friends and all). I went with the "Momma's Pick 4 Mix & Match Meal" which came with 4 meats and a side. (Yup, I said I wanted to try a little of everything, so here we are.) I also ordered extra sides just to really solidify the "everything" statement.The food came out in about 25 minutes and it was all delicious! My meal included:- Meats: 2 Chicken Legs, Fried pork chop, 3 Catfish Strips (x2)- Sides: Yams, Baked Beans, Mac & Cheese, Okra, and a side of Peach Cobbler Some stuff was a little salty compared to what I'm used to (so I subtracted one star), but it was still good. As expected (and planned), I did not finish nearly half of my food but was happy to take it home for later. (Which, by the way, since it's now technically "later" I have taken a couple breaks while writing this to eat that cobbler. Delicious!!!)I will be back again to support Momma's and the crew! Make sure to stay abreast of Momma's news! They are currently implementing a lot of new additions and plans with the restaurant. It will be exciting to watch them grow their business!And always remember:SUPPORT SMALL, LOCAL, FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESSES.(Also, I had the privilege of meeting Momma really quick! And she is sweeter than the peach cobbler! Cannot wait until the cookout invite. Haha)ENJOY!"

"Have been coming here ever since I can remember it is pretty good I will say I love the red sauce. It can be a bit bland to those used to seasoning but some sauce definitely helps. The chicken plate and burritos are delicious. The service is amazing, workers are nice and often check in on you. They know my family well and chat with us when we visit. I will say for a while the food was different and went through a rough patch but recently it is back to what I am used to. A small little place that you can tell has been around for a while and family owned, usually nice and quiet."

"This is a must if your looking for food that can't honestly be healthy for you or your arteries. I love Pete's fish and chips! The fish is always hot and cripsy and this location was no exception. It was amazing. I always get a two piece of fish with fries and a drink. We went through the drive thru and although it was hard for us to hear the employee on the intercom, she got us through quickly. Prices are reasonable. They have other items as well that are a must try!"

The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and accomdating.The food may be cery simple but the food surprises you, simple but very tasty. On this visit we ordered the marlin tacos, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and carne asada quesadilla. I couldn't tell you which I liked best because it was all delicious. Everything was fresh, loaded with flavor, and served hot.Delicious and authentic food. Definitely recommend."
