"We came here with another couple for a post dinner dessert. The flavors of the ice cream were cool and I had to try the grapefruit buttercream flavor (as a sample). The cookies also looked amazing so we got a chocolate crinkle and it was to die for, yum. The inside of the shop is darling and the employees were wonderful and treated us like valued customers. Kudos to their team for the wonderful experience and company values."
"In between soccer games at the nearby Reach 11 sports complex, our party of six ended up here for some drinks and lunch... it wasn't as busy as I expected in a beautiful Saturday around 12:30, and we were seated outside upon request pretty quickly. We had a great table with a fire pit to keep us warm and service was attentive. Our party enjoyed burgers, chicken, sliders and avocado toast... Perhaps it's because it's a chain or maybe I've been to one too many similar meals, but while this place is fine, it's nothing to write home about or rush back to.If you go with your expectations in check, this place will be just fine, but I definitely wouldn't go out of your way to eat / drink here."

"Always delicious. Always a favorite.Reminds me of growing up back in the Northeast. Trips to south Philly to grab a cheesesteak from Pat's or Geno's.This place is the real deal. Don't forget the cheese whiz."
"The mallow is AMAZING! this place is so good. The cupcake was great & the mallow fluff on the milkshake had me hungry for more. This place is a hidden gem. i'd recommend this to everyone to try!the vibe of this place is so cute! Support this small business."
"Fast friendly service and great food! The Taco meat was freshAs were the tortillas and the spices added such great flavor!A real win here"
"Came here for dinner after visiting the Cozy Claw next door, and soooo glad we did! The food was awesome, everything tasted great, we got the margherita pizza, eggplant hero, and garlic knots. Our kids split bowtie pasta with marinara and a slice of pepperoni pizza, which they both LOVED. The service was excellent and super friendly, great relaxing atmosphere, and it smells amazing inside. They were even nice enough to cut the slice of pizza into small pieces for my toddler! Wonderful all around, will be back for sure"
"The perfect brunch spot for people who love rock & roll classics, breakfast and lunch options for all, & lots of Beatles/Rock memorabilia! It is always pristine inside, filled with free delicious smells from the kitchen, & the staff are incredibly friendly to chat with. A one of a kinda spot that gave me so much joy to be able to eat in a fun diner again"
"Stopped in here on a recent Monday after working up an appetite at nearby Pickleball Kingdom with my daughter...We had a delightful meal despite the restaurant being a little slow (and likely short staffed). We loved the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and also enjoyed edamame, pad see eu, and spicy eggplant.Serving portions are large, food is super tasty, prices are reasonable. We had leftovers for days!We will be back!"
"Such a cute spot! The popsicles are so cute and tasty. I ordered the matcha boba and it was so good. The boba was perfect it wasn't too sweet and the perfect amount of chewiness. The service was good and the drinks came out quickly. The parking is also easy and available for the whole shopping center. My drink cost me $8 which is pretty typical for boba. I also really appreciated that it was dairy free"
"This is me favorite boba place ever! The tea (caffeinated and non caffeine) are delish and the boba is always fresh like their namesake! Yuuuuummmmmm! They've freshened up their menu too and I love the watermelon oat milk bubble milk drink!"
"As soon as you walk in you are greeted but not like welcomed. I didn't expect to see the fresh baked pastries! Everything is from scratch. I can't wait to try the chocolate mousse cake. I did get the Italian and my hubby got the Londoner everything tastes amazing made with care!! I'd definitely recommend trying this place"
"Love a coffee shop with late hours! They close at 9pm Mon to Sat. And it was still lively at 8pm.They have lattes, frappes, smoothies, specialty lattes, teas, lemonades, crepes, and sandwiches.I had the Pumpkin White Mocha and it was a bit too sweet so I'll ask for half sweet next time. They also have a private room you can rent for meetings. Just ask about rates."

I know... people love this place. So dare I say, I don't? I'll start with saying the shop is be very cute. But I think it's okay for a quick ice cream fix but I've been a few times now and every time I feel pretty much the same-- the ice cream is just too sweet for me palette. I like the strawberry shortcake, however the strawberry ice cream tastes semi artificial to me, the shortcake is a little dense and not the typical biscuit like, and sort of has the biscotti shape. It's good, it's shareable. But nonetheless, it's not something I'd go out of my way for. I have also tried the tiramisu, vanilla, butter pecan from my friends flavors. The cookies I actually just didn't like-- I've only had the snickerdoodle. The marshmallow torched topping though- delicious. I like that it's more of a cream rather than the typical solid marshmallow. Overall, I just think it's ok... and I'll typically go if I'm in the area and one of my friends suggests it.

Highly recommend! Came with friends today. Didn't get a picture of his Ahi poke bowl but got to try some and it was very good. Almost every person in the restaurant was having their fish n chips..... so those must be good but trying to stay away from fried food. Every thing on the menu sounds good. It was hard to choose........ my husband got the stacked Turkey sandwich and I got the BBQ burger and we split it. I don't know which one was better. Burger was cooked perfectly medium rare..... the sauce was yummy. I had a pear martini which was delicious Sazerac Was also goodI will say though..... first impression walking in was awful. Almost left. When you walk in the hostess stand is positioned in a way that the staffs back is what you see. We stood there for 6 mins with no acknowledgment. No greeting. Nothing. And one of the two staff was the manager!!!!! I finally had to ask if we just take a seat or do they seat us. The manager turned around slightly and said "we will seat you" It was strange. But our waiter was great and the general manager was amazing. Overall we had an amazing experience

I used to live in ahwatukee which is in the neighborhood of this place, and took it for granted. Then moved to Cave Creek which is about 40 miles straight north. So I was in the neighborhood and thought I should stop by and see if it still as good as it used to be.Happy to report that the cheesesteak is great and love the sweet potato fries. You get to pick your meat, veggies and even sauce. PS if you get fries you get a drink free so what can you argue about that deal!

Was craving a shake to cool down from the heat and stopped by Toasted Mallow for a cookies and cream shake with PB and a Cookie Monster shake with cookie dough. These were so sweet and delicious. The marshmallow fluff makes the shake super thick and yummy. The shop is small but the cashiers were so sweet and even let me try a sample before I ordered my shake. They had music playing and a few small tables to sit and enjoy our shake at. I liked the different merch and treats you could get at the shop to take home too.

It should be 3 1/2 stars. Food was fairly good. Let's just say it's not a date night type of place. They did keep the salsa bar clean, which was nice.. small area to sit in. Looks like a lot of people get it to go..

Ordered through Slice app late in the day. I selected Brooklyn V's from pictures and reviews. I picked up my order--ready on time which was great as there was only one person in the restaurant. Pizza was just okay. Greasy with a cardboard-like bottom crust, toppings were plentiful. Calamari was gummy bear chewy, and also very greasy. I warmed them up in an air fryer...lots more grease! A bit more crunchy but the flavor was awful. The sauce tops for the calamari were squished in the calamari container--melted and popped open--what a mess. I understand it was late in the day and they had one customer in the dining area but Brooklyn V's could have taken better care packing! Overall--I might try again but for the money spent, I'll stick to the more tasty Sal's or Little Joe's pizza.

The service was fantastic and the food came out quickly. I got The Works Skillet and ordered a side of Andrés Hot pork green chile sauce. It was pretty good, but I think I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict better. My husband got the veggie skillet and he said he loved it. I also got a piece of French toast and that was very good. Overall, great place for breakfast! The portions are huge so come with a hefty appetite!

Clean establishment serving HUGE portions. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and hubby got the Thai Fried Rice with Beef. Spice level was perfect at 2 (medium) and tons of chicken. Very tasty and delicious. I skipped the bean sprouts and tofu and they put lots of green onions in there. Very enjoyable. Hubby loved his rice. It had lots of veggies and he said it was moist and tasty. You will leave here with a Togo box because they give you so much food. I like that you seat yourself, it's minimal design and food was good. A definite YES!

"What a fun place to visit, the ambience is very chill and laid-back. The staff is very friendly, and there are a lot of people that brought their families and dates and businesses. We got the barbecue sandwich. It was most delicious along with the blueberry lavender and chocolate chip waffle ice cream we were so full afterwards it was a perfect portions. We sat right by the outdoor patio next to the window and had a view of the patio and outdoors such a cute and pleasant experience will definitely be back."
"This place has been on list forever now, happy I was able to stop in today and get a slice. They had a variety of flavors to choose from, I'm a huge fan of coffee dessert so obviously the Tiramisu stood out first. The brownie was another I wanted to try but ultimately decided to get the tiramisu one and I'll come back for the brownie one. Cheesecake is super balanced in flavor, I'm not a fan over overly sweet dessert so plenty surprised how good this was. It was light and airy but still creamy at the same time. The crust was by far the best part. I think prices are reasonable at $8 a slice given these are fresh. Will definitely go back and try other flavors"
"A mom & pop business that has several flavors of ice cream. They also have coffee, tea, shakes, malts and more. Our server, Nyla, was terrific! Nice addition with the newly added taco shop in the same center."
"Sumo Snow @sumosnow Boba Tea & Desserts in Surprise is so good for a cold drink and sweet treat on a hot day like today!! I've been eyeing this cute dessert shop and finally made it in for my first ever Korean Corn Dog! I have no regrets- my Potato Beef Dog was amazinggggg! These dogs are savory and sweet with a crisp shell of delicious cornmeal batter studded with French fry chunks and sprinkled with sugar. The flavor of the beef dog is very good too. This was such a good treat. I also got an Oat Dragonfruit Matcha that was so creamy and sweet with the matcha earthy and smooth. My kids wanted the Chipotle Beef Dog with hot sauce, the Horchata Frappe, and the Flaming Dragon Slushee. I took my food to go but there is a picture window bar seating area and tables and chairs inside and outside the shop. There are also restrooms. I loved their collection of cute Japanese make-at-home dessert boxes and Pocky sticks available for purchase as well. I'm so happy we're nearby. There are several more teas I need to try here. Service was very good here."
"Super fast and delicious food.Customer service is perfect - they checked in to make sure food was good then left us alone; how I like it.Looks like a family owned spot, which I love to support. Got the salt and pepper shrimp with fried rice. They are generous with the amount of shrimp they give compared to many restaurants who over leverage veggies, to make make the dish larger. Will be returning"
"It's nice to have a family run restaurant with all of the restaurant group places around. It's clear that they care and want to do a good job. The bread service was very good with fluffy ciabatta and plenty of butter. They made chicken francese for me even though it was not on the menu. Our tablemates had chicken Parmesan, salmon penne and smoked chicken rigatoni - they all liked their dishes as did I.The cheesecake for dessert was very smooth and light even though it was a very large piece. There are a few things that would help this become a much more desirable choice:1. Add some warmth to the venue. It is very sterile with fluorescent looking lights, big open spaces between tables and a bar that reminds one of a sushi restaurant. It just doesn't feel homey at all. Some warm lighting and not white paint would do wonders. Although the owner doesn't like a crowded room or adding more tables, patrons prefer the cozy feeling of a place that looks more intimate. It looks like they can't afford more tables the way it is set up now. 2. They need to season the calamari with some salt and they were a tad too chewy as well.3. The marinara sauce was watery and lacked richness.4. Add cocktails being available (and the price) on the menu.5. Clear the empty tables of their dirty dishes much more quickly - it feels gross sitting next to an uncleared table."
"I've been wanting to try the Kind Bean for a while now and finally got a chance to back in May! Hubs and I were out running errands and needed breakfast. I looked through my saved Yelp Collections, and saw Kind Bean was nearby. Hubs stayed in the car to take a call, so I went in by myself. I was greeted right away. The space had ample seating indoor and out.The menu offers a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks, breakfast items, pastries, and lunch. Everything is vegan. I needed a few minutes to look over the menu and the staff was patient with me. They also explained some of the popular items and answered my questions. I decided on an oat milk latte as well as two burritos for us: JoeBurrito and Loaded Burrito. Though the burritos were different from each other, they both had KIND tofu scramble and home fries. Pretty tasty and filling! Reasonably priced, too. The burritos were ~$10-11 each.Though I didn't indulge at the time, the pastries were very tempting. I was also impressed that they offer lunch items like lasagna, chili, chowder, and more. I will definitely be back for those!"
"Love this placesNever a better cookie place I love that they came out with mini cookies"
"Matcha is very high quality super impressive! Great spot for a treat I will definitely be back"
"Been coming to this bakery for over 35 yrs... :)Can't say I just love one thing, everything is delicious! Today I picked up a pink champagne cupcake and a pineapple mini upside down cake....Yummy!"
"Such delicious cookies. Always friendly service and staff. Always new flavors. Worth a visit for sure."
"Service was spot on! Everyone was friendly I sat at the bar waiting for a friend and the 2 woman made me feel welcomed and comfortable checking on me to make sure I had everything I needed. I loved being able to see everything cooked in front of me. Food looked amazing and tasted great! Overall I will be back"
"Wonderful ! Love this place. We had Tiffy make us a very special cake for our daughters birthday. Not only was everyone impressed with the beautiful presentation. But the cake was absolutely delicious. All of our guests were asking where we purchased it."
"Like the concept, but wasn't as impressed with the product.I tried the cookies and cream and snickerdoodle and neither were better than the giant tub of cookie dough I buy at Costco for $8. We also bought a PB square that was good, maybe 4/5 stars. They had two vegan flavors and the rest used pasteurized eggs--so "safe" but still egg."
"I've tasted JL Patisserie pastries at local coffee shops but had never visited their store. However, during a visit to Scottsdale one Wednesday, I made sure to stop by. This location is situated in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. I was greeted upon entering. The interior is bright, modern, and inviting. I had just eaten breakfast so I wasn't particularly hungry, but didn't want to miss this chance to visit. I absolutely love their canelés and was there mainly for the canelés. However, the sweet girl behind the counter let me know that they only serve them on weekends. I knew I wasn't going to leave without getting anything, so I decided on a cinnamon roll. I saved it for later as an afternoon snack and it was delightful, just like all their pastries!I still think about their canelés all the time and hope to make it back here on a weekend!"
"The service was really, really great. Everyone was enthusiastic and friendly. The restaurant was clean and fun, decor-wise. The food was also good, although cheaper alternatives of comparative quality exist."
"We dined here years ago at a Chicago location and we loved it so I was very excited that they built one in this new, up and coming area of Surprise. We went on a Friday night and it was packed but they seated us fairly quick. We started with drinks and I really enjoyed their red sangria. Unfortunately my husband's old fashioned was watered down. I had the risotto with shrimp and scallops. The food is really tasty and our service was great! Kind of small portions for the price/ambiance (too loud!) so we probably won't be regulars. I'd like to come come back for happy hour and wine tasting. The little shop at the entrance is fun also."
"One of the first Filipino restaurants I tried here in Arizona! The food is delicious. I love that they have a bakery separate from the restaurant. My heart jumped when I saw that they sell Silvanas! Definitely worth going here just for that. The service is always good, very friendly. The ambiance is a little dinky but that just makes it feel more like home I can't wait to go back!"
"Super cute spot. Trendy, IG worthy pic spots. They have games in the back you can play at your table, a foosball table and a mini claw machine. Loved it upon entry. So why no 5 stars, this was tough. The drinks were not good. Vietnamese coffee tasted like it was powder. Maybe I am just used to the real Vietnamese coffee and how it's made but it was disappointing. Magonada, ok this one was even more disappointing. I asked the girl at the counter which was better the magonada or Sandia loca (bc I love both mango and watermelon). She recommended the magonada, then I literally said to her "oh fresh mango bits okay yes I'll get that". I get my drink and it had NO mango. I figured they forgot so we brought it up to the counter and then she said "oh we are out of mango bits". Uh, that was the reason I got it. How can you not tell someone that after you heard what I said. So basically it was just mango slush. Lastly, we ordered the egg waffle. After about 30 min we asked for it, figured they also forgot. The guy told us it was being worked on and apologized because something went wrong with the machine when they made the first one so it didn't come out well. He brought out the "good" one and the one that didn't come out well (fyi I was crunchy and hard). He was very polite and apologetic but unfortunately even the good one came out a tad on the over cooked side too."
"The biggest fried zucchini I have ever seen in my life!! So filling and satisfying I almost didn't have room for my plant based burger which was packed with (real beef) flavor! And let me not forget the ranch dressing was the best anywhere around just like the old school homemade, thick and delish! Definitely on my top list!"
"We just dropped in to get some cookies for a house party. We bought 35 mini varsity cookies. We had no idea we found cookie gold! The cookies were devoured so fast! Even the host hid some in the kitchen to make sure he got some. Everyone was so impressed. Cute inside and great customer service too."
"I love that this location is a half a mile from my house. I check out the flavors weekly. Last week the Tres Leche was amazing! Today I got the cornbread cookie less than impressed. It was not served warm. The employees never seem as if they're having fun at work."
"Pretty solid Indian restaurant! The smell of all the spices hits you as soon as you enter, which is when you know it's real. It's a small and quiet place, but they do play indian music in the background, which I appreciated. There was one waiter for all the tables, and he looked miserable, but he got it done. We got paneer kati rolls for appetizers (not photographed), and for our meals, I got chicken Tikka masala, husband got lamb roganjosh, and we shared garlic naan and nut and raisin naan. I loved our entrees. They were a big portion, came with rice, and were extra buttery and rich. Only downside was the naan. They had no garlic/nut raisin flavor at all. They just tasted like regular naan."
