"I'm a sucker for creole, and this joint was near where I was staying...Jolie Blon, so creamy, so filling, so tasty...Had to sample the banana pudding and it was thick and cool, dotted with sliced banana and covered with the mills wafers...sweet!Ambiance is strip mall bayou, service was friendly and helpful, and prices were slightly above expectation.fish was over cooked or this would have been a 5 star joint...so I'll give this another shot if I'm back in the area, but at first glance this joint does not make the list..."
"I loved this place! I was visiting the Phoenix area with my cousins for a girls weekend and we really wanted to dig into pots of seafood. We explored yelp for a couple different options and decided the Angry Crab met the parameters of what we were looking for, both in experience and food. We wanted to be able to order a variety of crab, shrimp, lobster, etc. and Angry Crab offers it all. The seafood here is delicious. It's expensive once you get going, but for an "every once in awhile meal" it was worth it. For me, the snow crab and shrimp were by far the most delicious of our meal.Plan to get messy. Really really messy. They have a trough in the back of the restaurant to wash up and don't hesitate to recalibrate and ask for new gloves halfway through. Our server checked in on us regularly and was really helpful in bringing out supplies as we needed them and emptying our bucket of waste as it filled up. She also helped get the lobster out of the shell and with breaking up some of the crab too.If you're looking for a fun, yummy, and casual seafood experience or crab boil, don't hesitate to visit the Angry Crab."

"Loved this experience! Getting hit with the jazz guitar music walking in, the art on the wall, and the smell of the food was unique and memorable. I took a spot at the bar and was attended to quickly, even though the place was packed. I ordered the Duck and Andouille Sausage Gumbo (cup) and the Catfish Dinner. The gumbo was packed with flavor and had the perfect kick. The catfish was flaky and cooked perfectly. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'm totally gonna hit this place up again....there's lots on the menu I must try!"
"We were in the area to get a haircut and since we were waiting for Supercuts to open we came in for beers and beignet bites. This place just recently opened so it's new the beer is nice and cold there's a huge selection and a full service bar. The beignet bites were nice and warm now the customer service was lagging considering it wasn't very busy but it wasn't a bad experience either all in all coming here for happy hour or a sporting event is definitely a fun time. Make sure you bring plenty of money the food is a little expensive so with all of this being said it's a fun family friendly place."
"I love seafood boil and have a few places in town that I stick to, but I was in the area and decided to give this spot a shot and WOW am I glad I did. I got headless shrimp, potatoes, and a hard boiled egg with a mix of all the sauces + spicy with a side of hibachi fried rice and a side of the Krazy fire sauce. The food was very flavorful. I loved that they have a unique add ons like: broccoli, mushrooms, noodles, and hibachi fried rice (served on the side). I love the Asian and Cajun fusion, very unique. They have a ton of other entrees like: hibachi, fried seafood baskets, noodles and rice dishes, salads and soups, and a solid kids menu. They have a variety of drinks including beers. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant looks clean and well decorated. Highly recommend this place, can't wait to go back!"

I was craving a seafood boil for my birthday so we walked to Angry Crab for lunch today. They have a nice $15 lunch special that included 1/2 lb of crab legs; 1/2 lb of shrimp; a potato and a small ear of corn. It was the perfect size lunch for me (plus a lot of extra shrimp to take home). It's messy but it's yummy. They weren't busy at all today- service was excellent and everything was piping hot and the right spice level. They did bring me cake and ice cream and sang (really loudly) for my bday. Fun!Good choice and we will be back!

Driven by here multiple times and decided to come here to watch football games on a Sunday. Honestly this is an awesome place to enjoy great Cajun food from New Orleans. I had the blackened chicken sandwich with the gumbo. So good and a huge sandwich that was perfectly cooked. The seasoning is next level on that sandwich. Also with a cup of gumbo was awesome. Super good food, solid service and great ambiance to enjoy watching football games.

The seafood boil is seasoned really well. I got the vegetable bag, they charge an extra $3 for getting the vegetable bag. That was kind of lame, but it is what it is. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but the food is worth it.

I would consider this place over the corporate monster that is hot and juicy hot and juicy does not take care of you.OverpricedI went in there of March of last year and sat down and had quarter pound bag of mussels shrimps oyster and crawfish corn on the cob and some potatoes.I had just gotten out of the hospital at Abrazo down by Spectrum Mall and I was getting over my pneumonia I still had a little bit of cough and these people were not judgmental I told them I had just gotten over pneumonia so I wasn't going to be drinking any beer and they told me they had soda and apple juice and milk and these people will treat you good.If you're tired of waiting 30 to 75 minutes for a table (hot and juicy looking at you ) and you don't want to travel to Scottsdale or all the way out to Westgate please come here to eat even if it's been two to three and a half years they still need press and word of mouth to get out so that they are never dead. The ambience is sit down enjoy yourself don't worry about what's going on outside until you're done with your meal.

I have always been a big fan of the Angry Crab and places like that and I'm also a big seafood fan in general. I found this place as I was going north on 35th Avenue approaching Greenway. It is on the south east corner. Very comfortable interior with kind of a tropical feel. What's this place apart for me was the menu where I saw and only the seafood options but also some Asian options as well. I started out with some egg rolls which were nice and crunchy and lots of vegetables in them. I also got two mini corn on the cobs and two hard boiled eggs for the protein hit. Corn was cooked perfectly and just had enough butter. My main course was the butterfly shrimp and french fries. The shrimp was nice and crispy on the outside but the crust did not take away from the Flavor of the shrimp nor did the cocktail sauce which had a nice hit of horseradish in it. The french fries were also nice and crispy and lightly salted which if you've read my prayer reviews I never want the fries to be overly seasoned and take the potato taste away and these were very pleasing. My server was very attentive and very pleasant and this place is a definite alternative and even a little more economical then some of the other places that serve the item in the bag with your choice of seasonings and sauces and whatever else you want to throw into it and also some other options as well.

This restaurant sits back in between office buildings so it's hard to find. Find It! The food is delicious. The restaurant has great seating and with the music the ambience is really chilled. Our server was excellent. We overheard her talking about a concert that we had went to also, when we shared our 2 cents she was engaging & pleasant. The shrimp and grits , the homemade chorizo sausage. Check them out on Sundays. Parking is on the side of the building. Plenty of it available.

"Hot, spicy, messy... Everything that I like in a meal, lol...Service was friendly and they were not busy for early dinner.I'll try to remember to skip the crawfish next time, lol... They were OK but not worth the trouble.Everything else was great."
"Sorry, forgot to take photos, but still some tasty Cajun food.. Ambiance: the restaurant is set in-between two office buildings on Central Ave. Overall, nice place. A good amount of people were there, but not packedService: Fast and friendly. There is a sign that indicates where to order at the bar. You then find a seat afterwardsFood: The menu is pretty good. Not large, but has a lot of options. I opted for Jambalaya. It came with rice and cornbread. Mine contained both sausage and shrimp (the shrimp were extra). It was really good - a bit of spice on the end, but not overwhelming. Portion size was good as well. They were kind enough to give us free dessert - carrot cake. It was very good!N*joy!"
"NEW FAVORITE SPOT ALERT!!!!! They just opened on the 10th of October....This place is cute! Great seafood date night!! They are open inside the restaurant and you can order to go... When you walk in you are greeted and even though i ordered to go, the waiter came by and asked if i was okay!!! The staff were extremely polite and helpful! The prices are amazing! You definitely get great quality, good service and amazing food! Right now they are have a grand opening cupon.I ordered shrimp fried rice, shrimp, jalapeno chicken wings , and fried rice!!! I ordered to go but i could smell the delicious aroma all the way home!!! The smell of the food did not deceive me!!! The shrimp was fresh and the food was scrumptious!!!! I definitely plan on being a regular at this establishment!"
"TastyI've driven by Zydeco's truck often, and just not had time to stop, until today. I wish I would have stopped sooner, this little gem is serving up some delicious food.We order a shrimp po' boy, catfish po' boy, shrimp po' boy, few fried platters, and dirty rice. These po' boys were large full, and spiced and seasoned perfectly. The fried platters were also excellent. Battered but not heavy. If you're looking for authentic Louisiana creole food, this is the place. The prices are wallet friendly, the food is delicious, and the customer service is exceptional. I xan't wait to go back."
"This is fun Chinese Cajun fusion. I had the lunch special with head on shrimp, house sauce and mild space boil. Yes! Boil. Pot came with 6 shrimp, potato, sausage and fresh steamed broccoli. Parking is a bit of a challenge for the Broadway location."
"Good food and great service. The catfish is yummy and the cabbage hit the spot. Definitely coming back!"
"My husband and I found their location in Tempe and we were excited to give it a try! Tried their Gumbo and I had this moment, where my eyes just about rolled into the back of my head! It was OFF THE CHART delicious! I highly recommend their food and NOW try out their new standing location, in Phoenix. He's classically Cordon Bleu trained, he creates his own meats and spices. It's literally a visit to New Orleans without leaving Phoenix."
