"Another spectacular meal at Koreatown! I've been on a Japchae kick and Koreatown's japchae definitely hit the spot for me. I love that the japchae is as big, if not bigger than my head! U can't beat the portion size here! It's fantabulous!! The texture and flavor of the japchae was outstanding! Love that they put more veggies and mushrooms in it than another Korean spot that I visited recently. Our servers were nice and upbeat with very pleasant attitudes! For as long as the restaurant has been around, it's very clean, with a relaxing vibe. Looking forward to enjoying another awesome meal here!"
"I love this place. Came here with coworkers to celebrate a new opportunity. I wont be in the area anymore so we came here. I love the look now since it was remodeled. I think it is more dinning friendly. The ambiance is just great. The table service is a great new touch too. The server did a great job. I got the chicken, turkey, mac & cheese and beans. The food was excellent as always. They do not have koolaid anymore though. I will have to drive up here on the weekends to get that delicious chicken and turkey."

"This place came to our neighborhood for the first time. It was good and fair. The good - brisket sandwich and beansThe fair ribs and potato salad And split decision on the slawThe brisket wasn't too fatty, very tasty, good roll. The beans were not as thick as some, which was a plus for me. Had lots of brisket in them. Tasted great. The ribs - some were good some were over cooked and dry. The bark was too tough but they were very meaty. The potato salad was nothing special and the potatoes were a bit under cooked. The slaw - hubby didn't like it at all, I thought it was good had a bit of a tang to it."
"This place can be missed with the blink of an eye. It sets next to a car repair place and a small apt complex. Just wanted to try something. I decided on a 1/2 pound of Rib tips! They are one of my favorites if done right! The tips were good. Only thing I can say is I did ask the young man at the counter if they came with sauce already on them he said No! It will be on the side. I actually didn't want any! Okay that will work. 15 minutes later i got my Rip tips and they were fully sauced! Eyeroll! Oh well they were still pretty darn good. I just wanted to try the seasonings they use to start off the meat! Next time I will make sure. No sauce"
"I ate the Buck out of this place, it's so Bucking good!!! It's definitely my new Buck Buddy...love it!I'm of the belief that you can make anything into a burrito...it's my favorite food group. Love so many things about this spot...the location, the storefront, outdoor seating only, smoky bbq smells, the burritos are phenomenal, the people are super friendly, everything! I went with the brisket, egg and cheese burrito and added refried beans to it. Loved every bite and was sad when it was gone. But I'll hit this again....but I'll probably wait a few days so I don't seem desperate. On a scale of 1 to 10, I love this place!"
"Food was good. Service was good. BBQ sauce was good. Most of us in our group of 5 had a pulled pork sandwich as part of a lunch special ($6.99 for a sandwich, chips, and a fountain drink). Great deal! We added some sides just to try them out. Corn or the cob, the cooked carrots, and the potato salad were all yummy. What stood out & was so surprising was the fact that you are served your meal by a robot named Mickey! This totally reminded me of the robot in the movie, "Flight of the Navigator." It seemed so futuristic at that time that I didn't imagine any such technology would ever be developed in my lifetime when I first saw that movie back in the 80s. How far we have come is truly incredible. The gal at the front counter who took our order was so sweet. We came back at the end of lunch to order a cookie for one of my kids, and she could have just grabbed it and handed it to me. However, since she understood my children's fascination with the robot, she had Mickey bring the cookie to our table. SO COOL! Thanks for a fantastically memorable lunch. Ambiance was really neat as well. Had a warm, fun feel. Loves the theme. Novelties/gifts were also available. We will be back for sure. Positive experience to say the least."
"This place is very hole in the wall, super underground but so kind. The staff is always super kind and nice, very chill atmosphere. A good place to kick back and jut have a good time. The music is always amazing and the food is super good! Not a higher end place, but it's a gem nonetheless. Good price for good food and drinks. The owners are so kind and just want everyone to have a good time. Open late and great drinks, definitely a spot not to miss"
"Great food excellent service. Food came out rather quickly so that was good. Arrived the brisket sandwich and fried pickles, YUM!Recommended! Would be a fun place to ride the motorcycles to as well!"
"Excellent BBQ, best I've had since the mid-west. Small family run restaurant with friendly service and large portions. It's a bit of a trek from Chandler but worth the trip. Good (if basic) seating indoors and out."
"Alright, folks, this wasn't my first restaurant experience, but it was one of the best, if not the best, in recent memory. Ten stars all around. If you have been to any of the Caldwell County BBQ locations, you know that they have the best BBQ already. So, let's talk about the atmosphere... This area is going to be like a theme park. Pecan Lake will be a very cool family hangout. You'd better go before everyone else finds out about it. Bring a group with you from the food and vibe. Finally, customer service. Steve Sellers is the manager of this Caldwell County BBQ location, and I will drive the extra miles just to get BBQ because he sets the tone. Here's the story. I roll up and see all the construction, three parking lots, and a few signs, but I'm not sure where to park nor where to enter. I called the restaurant, and Steve answered. He says, "Where are you, and I'll come get you in the golf cart?" Boom! Just like that, my friends and I are being dropped off at the front door. Yeah, I'm coming back with a large group. The food is fantastic. The complex is freaking awesome, and the customer service rocks. Thanks, Steve, for making this a memorable experience."
"The Fogo & Soul Food Truck was at the Food Truck Friday West in Glendale. They offer a fusion of Southern Brazilian BBQ and Soul Food. We tried a sampler pate called the Grilled Meat Trio (sirloin, chicken, linguica sausage, two sides). The meat were DELICIOUS, well seasoned and tender! We also enjoyed the Brazilian cheese breads. The macaroni and cheese was a little heavy handed with pepper and was a tad dry but I feel the food they offer is closer to 5 stars than 4 stars.ENJOY a GREAT FOOD Truck!"
"This past weekend, we had this food truck in my complex. Prior to them coming, we decided to look them up. There were only 3 ratings and every one of them was terrible. Needless to say, we were skeptical on eating there. I mean, it was compliments of our complex so free food is always a plus. But seeing the ratings and reviews made me not want to try it. Even it was free. But, I like to forge my own opinion as does my wife. So, we gave it a shot. When we got there it was about 30 mins after the start time. We were greeted right away by, who I think is the owner. We had to take a few minutes to look over the menu and see what we wanted. After deciding, my wife went with the rib tip dinner with baked beans and potato salad. I decided to go with the hot links with fries and potato salad. The owner, I'm guessing, was extremely nice and courteous. He even offered us some free drinks. Smelling that bbq cooking up, made me excited to try it. By now, we had gotten our food and made our way upstairs to see for ourselves. Let me tell you, the links were on point. Very tasty, nice kick and that bbq sauce was delish. They even toasted the buns. Fries were fries. The potato salad you can tell was homemade. Very tasty and a unique flavor. Same with the baked beans. They are definitely homemade and have a distinct taste. The rib tips, MMMM MMMM MMMM!!! The flavor of the sauce, the tenderness of the tips, all worth it. Oh and the food was hot and fresh. This is why my wife and I always like to see for ourselves. I mean, some places you can steer away from based on reviews and pics, but this definitely is not one of them. Job well done. Will definitely be seeking them out again, to eat and support the biz. Keep up the great work. Thank you for the hospitality and awesome food."

Based on my Yelp friends' reviews, I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and I'm so glad I got to try tonight! One of my favorite thing about Korean food is banchan (side dishes) as it's so fun to sample a little bit of everything. There were 8 different kinds brought out and I would say taste was about average but I appreciated the diversity and plentifulness. I could make better but it takes a lot of time and effort to make each side dish so I always appreciate someone else doing the cooking. We ordered galbi- Korean beef short ribs, spicy pork belly, and oxtail soup to share. The portion sizes were huge! Could have easily fed 5 people. Both galbi and spicy pork belly were flavorful. I just had a bit of the soup and it was just ok as I expected a richer broth. We were all very full and still had so much leftover to take home. They do charge a 3.5 percent transaction fee for credit cards which is a pet peeve of mine but I honestly didn't mind as it was a TON of pretty good food with great prices. Service was very good although the restaurant was pretty busy, especially for a weeknight. We all said we'd be back so that's always a great sign.

I'm gonna give you more than you ever wanted to know about "Provele" cheese. Google it. I did. I had to google it just to spell it. See, in St. Louis...there is a staple of cheese commonly used on pizza called Provele. Provele cheese. Before I get ahead of myself, I'll strongly suggest you immediately go and try Frasher's St Louis pizza. And, of course, it's got this Provele cheese. Provele is a pasteurized cheese, melts perfectly and is delicious. Very melty. Very cheesy. But in other words, it's a well-accepted Italian Cheese-Whiz. You heard me. Italian Cheese Whiz. You can laugh, you can scoff, today I bought a large sausage pizza from Frashers and it was FRIGGIN' DELICIOUS!! Unusual. Not a standard tasting pizza. Delicious, creamy. Can't wait to go back. I got a 16" sausage, mushroom and onion, extra sauce. It was just under $30. Everything's expensive nowadays. All things considered, a real value. By the way, while, waiting for my pizza at the bar, I happen to chat with a gentleman who probably was the store manager. He was truly excited by the new pitmaster he had hired, and how proficient this person was! That's exciting! "Owner/operator" is a the best combo for the customers. And an owner/operator who is still excited by the business is even better. I'll come back for another pizza and I'll get some good bbq too!

Wow! We tried the ribs and brisket sandwich with sides of mac n' cheese, slaw, beans, and potato salad. SO. GOOD! The meat was tender and had that smokey flavor you look for in good BBQ. The sauce has a great tang and is the same sauce the beans are cooked in. My boyfriend, who doesn't even like beans, wouldn't stop eating them! We should have ordered an extra side! Highly recommend if you're considering this place!

I visited this place a few days ago for lunch. I've passed by it a few times and seen that they had good reviews. I was in the area, and decided to give them a try. Everything on the menu sounded good. So, it was hard to pick what I wanted. But, I decided to go with the 3-wing meal with two sides. For my 2 sides I got fried okra and Mac n cheese. I was pleased to see fried okra on the menu, as you don't see that often on menus. The meal also came with a cornbread muffin. No drink though! You gotta order that separately. While waiting, I looked around and listened to the music. He was playing artists like The Isley Brothers, The Gap Band, and The Temptations. I really enjoyed the music. I reminded me of when I would dine-out with my grandparents. So, it was a very homey feel. The TV was also on, I think Law & Order was showing (something my grannie always watched lol). But, my meal didn't take too long to make. There were 3 people ahead of me; it took maybe about 15-mins to get my food. The man that was taking the orders also served me my order. I'm not sure if that man was the owner or not? He was the only person there... So, I'm assuming he was the owner lolBut, my food was hot and ready! Everything was cooked to perfection. I'm picky when it comes to fried chicken, so I rarely order it at restaurants I haven't been to. I would instead get chicken tenders or something "safe" like that. But, I figured it was a black-owned restaurant, so, it should be good! Lol and I was right! The fried chicken was a 5/5! Nice & crispy and great flavor (I didn't have to put much hot sauce on it, as it tasted good as-is). And, the fried okra and Mac and cheese were great as well! I'm just really glad I liked the fried chicken lol because like I said, I'm picky when it comes to that. So, I would've been mad lol but I was a happy camper! The meal was a good portion of food. So, I had food to-go! I thanked the man and told him that I loved my meal! He was pleased! But, I'll definitely be visiting again!

Jalapeño Buck's has been on my longtime bucket list! With their specific hours, I finally had an opportunity to give them a visit! They're closed on Sundays and Mondays and open from 10 AM - 6 PM or 7 PM the rest of the week. So unless you're in the area, not the most flexible hours. That being said, I decided to snag a late lunch bite from them this week. They're a BBQ Mexican fusion type joint. , featuring exclusively outdoor seating (no animals allowed), no restroom and walk up counter service. They have a fun shack like vibe with lots of cool signs, but overall limited amenities, but then again, you're going for the food! Or should be!The girl who took my order was very sweet. I knew ahead of time from perusing the menu and reviews that I was going to get the brisket, bean and cheese burrito - The cashier let me know it was a solid and popular choice. She ran me through all their salsa options: A spicy red, a verde type, a more like forward creamy green, a mango and a classic mild red. I did also get a side of guacamole, was pretty disappointed it was prepackaged and expected something made in house, but alas still nice they have it. The burrito was very good! Quite hefty, super smoky and tender brisket. I added pickled jalapeños, overall quite a delicious, but heavy and trick burrito. I loved all the salsas. Would probably opt for spicy red, creamy green and mango as personal favorites. I definitely am glad I made it there, would visit again, but with the limited hours, may not be there in the immediate future. I understand why people enjoy it so much and definitely want to try some of those burnt ends on my next visit!

I sometimes wake up in the morning craving Can't Stop Smokin BBQ! I manage to hold off until lunchtime to get my fix though. The meats are amazing, not fatty or too smoky like some places but still very tender. Sides are numerous and tasty, you can choose between roll or cornbread and spicy or regular bbq sauce are provided and equally tasty to me. And to top it off they have the best staff, Aimee at the register is a sweetheart and I've had Tobias come out from the back and take time out of his day to visit with me and make me feel so welcome. I would highly recommend crossing the street from the other bbq establishment and try them out.

3 Stars- for our first experience at a hotpot restaurant, I wasn't impressed! The experience and atmosphere was a bit awkward and uncomfortable. The food was decent but for the price we paid it wasn't worth it.It's one man attending to all the guests, in which several people ended up walking out because they were not attended too.Another group of people came in and we're drunk, put on their own music on the speakers and acted as if they ran the place. We won't return here nor would I recommend it to anyone!

"Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a chain of casual Hawaiian Style lunch plate restaurants. Ono in Hawaiian means good or delicious.........This is about the Glendale location. It's casual and you order and pay at the counter. The person taking the order made an error ringing the order in but read the order correctly. It took a different person to make the order correct.I got my Island white fish & BBQ chicken combo. I thought it looked good. I take a bite of fish and it taste like oil. It's mushy inside and gross. OK then I move on the the chicken. It's grilled nicely and caramelized....and tender but.....it taste just like soy sauce.....and it hard to keep eating it because it just taste like soy sauce.....The rice was ok and the macaroni salad was a little dried out. The steamed (steamed???( vegetables were DISGUSTING they were full of oil. I consider them not edible. My husband tried the BBQ Combo (beef, short rib, chicken). All the meats tasted the same. They just taste like soy sauce. And he was served the same oily vegetables.Every THING could have been better. Error ringing in order. Oil soaked fish.beef and chicken taste flat and taste like soy sauce.OIL LOGGED VEGETABLES.Even the condiments don't taste good.My advice is that you should hire culinary students. It couldn't hurt.Ono or is it Oh no!The other Hawaiian restaurant in the area is like 100 times better in every way."
"Smoking Hot BBQ came to our work for our monthly food truck event. The staff was super friendly and the food was incredible! I got the 2 shredded pork sliders with side of mac and cheese. The pork was juicy and had a ton of flavor. I used their original BBQ sauce that was super tasty. The mac and cheese was super good as well. It was a meal I didn't want to end. Looking forward to eating here again in the future! Thanks (:"
"Unique desserts! We shared the Dragons Breath dessert. A cross between dipping dots and wafer cookie. Kind staff, they are very busy. Quick ordering through phone. Cute patio and heavy decor inside give the feel of little China. Menu looks delicious! We just came for dessert will be back for lunch/dinner or a protein shake."
"We had a great time karaoke Thursday!! Food great! Service good! We will definitely be back!"
"Second visit. Turkey first time was excellent but the brisket this time was just as good. One of the best Bar-B-Q places in the area. Great service with a great smile from Kylee. Highly recommend."
"We are new to the area and we heard about this area. We are used to Lakefront , coming from Missouri and Lake of the Ozark's. It was busy inside and we found a place at the bar. The bartender took our drink order quickly and gave us some menu's. They needed more than 2 bartenders because it took awhile to flag her down again to order food. I ordered the beef over mashed potatoes which was delicious. The reason for the 4 stars is my wife ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and got a chicken sandwich. We did not say anything as it already took 25 minutes to get our food. Overall a good experience, a little loud with the music but I get it."
"It's hard to get a seat here when they are busy. There were a few employees when I went. Even though the restaurant may not be full, the employees seem pretty preoccupied and busy. They had a menu out front on the greeter lectern with a sign that said to take a photo of the menu. The inside of the restaurant was very smokey. The restroom seemed clean, which was nice. A lot of places the restrooms can be pretty dirty or they are very cramped and it is hard to get in and out of the stalls. When I left the restaurant, I felt like I smelled of bbq, which I did. The next day I could smell the smoke on my clothes from the day before."
"I went here late afternoon so it wasn't very busy. The guy behind the counter gave off stoner vibes but took my order quickly and answered my questions. He brought out my order of fried catfish, fries, hush puppies, cornbread and peach cobbler. Despite the weird reviews from others, I found the portions quite generous... So much that I took home leftovers. The fries tasted freshly made, and the catfish was very moist and hot. The cornbread was good as well. The peach cobbler was a bit of a let down, as there were lots of very sweet topping chunks, but underneath the peaches looked and tasted like they came from a can along with some spice. But they were still tasty. Overall, a good experience... A good place to get a bite if you are in the area."
"Being a newcomer to this place, we were truly amazed. The moment we stepped into the restaurant, the adventure began. Our server, Edaile (pronounced as Adele - like the singer), was absolutely wonderful. She guided us through the entire process of how things worked. Since it's an all-you-can-eat place, you can order up to three meat items from the menu at a time. This helps in reducing food wastage, no matter how hungry you may be feeling. Sometimes our eyes are hungrier than our stomachs. Haha. Each meat dish we ordered, all shown in the menu, was outstanding. The great thing about grilling it yourself at the table is that you can choose how you want your meat cooked. Whether you prefer it rare or well-done, every bite is sure to be a delight. Remember, if you have a group of more than four people, it's best to call ahead and reserve a section or table. They seem to be able to accommodate groups ranging from two to 20. The seating options range from tables for two to four people, as well as high bar tables that can seat around 10 or more. Having lived in South Korea for quite some time, if I ever crave some authentic Korean food, I now know exactly where to go. I will definitely be coming back"
"We experienced Kingpin for the first time during the 2022 Scottsdale Jazz Festival. Out of all the food trucks this was the most popular. My husband was able to treat himself to a 3 rib plate. The menu was pretty sparse. The event started at 3pm and pretty much most of the menu wasn't available. It wasn't that busy. Maybe they just didn't have a lot of options that night. They were really good and hit the spot he said."
"Wait time was a little bit on a Thursday night around 5pm. Customer service was amazing from Alonzo! We were checked on frequently, grill swaps were also frequent and food came out quick! Cheese corn was amazing! Cuts of meat were good. Japchae was a bit overpowering with the sesame seed oil.Definitely give it a try if your in the area.I believe cost was about $40 person."
"Absolutely WONDERFUL dining experience!! The food was incredibly delicious, fresh & healthy. The drinks were on point. The ambiance was relaxing & lovely. It's my new favorite lunch spot!"
"Did a little search of the area after a long hike and this place popped up. It had good reviews and they were not wrong. When we arrived, there was quite a line. Apparently the front door is basically useless because the line wraps around back. I will say the workers were incredibly fast and even though the line looked daunting, it was only about 15 to 20 minutes of a wait. I got a barbecue sandwich and a side. The barbecue was incredible. Tender pulled pork and amazing sauce options. The potato salad was good in a neutral kind of way. Nothing unique about it, but the benefit of that is that it is a certain crowd pleaser. Everything tasted really good quality. I like that they don't use frozen meat and seem a little more local oriented. There were a few vegetarian/vegan options, which I always appreciate, especially at a barbecue place. They also were creative in terms of how you ordered - you could get a plate or combine a few things. They also had some homemade desserts that looked delicious. They have a very nice story about how they came about and the passion behind the business. I appreciate the combination of Arizona and Texas and how intentional they were. Even the beers were from either Texas or Arizona and it felt nice to support local. Of course they had some basic ones as well but the diverse options they offered that were fit what we were looking for. The price is not cheap, but the food is certainly worth every penny. The outdoor seating is an absolute delight. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, and the place was super clean. They could probably use a few more bathrooms, but nobody was really left waiting too long. They run a tight ship but do a great job making you feel welcome and not rushed"
"Everything we tried from the Gibson's Smokehouse BBQ Food Truck could have been better. The brisket did have good flavors but was served all dried out with HARD FAT on it....The pulled pork was also served all dried out. The Macaroni and cheese was over cooked and dried out. I didn't like the taste of the rest. Everything could have been better!Off day tonight."
"First time at a Korean bbq and I quite enjoyed my experience. The tiger combo was a lot for two people so we opted for the wagyu thin sliced brisket, shrimp, pot stickers, kimchi pancakes, beef kimchi fried rice, spicy stir fried squid. Honestly typing this review up, we got a lot of food for two. I didn't enjoy cooking the beef so I made my cousin do it. It was tasty after she was done. My favorite meal were the beef kimchi fried rice and the spicy stir fried squid. Those dishes were packed full of flavor, and we had good amount of leftovers. Great drink menu, as well. The staff were amazing, helpful with the recommendations. For the price, I do think you get your money's worth. Also the restaurant had a lots of packing space, we didn't have to wait at all because we made reservations as well. Definitely will be back."
"Soft openings are great as it gives the staff a chance to get accustomed to their location the flows of traffic in the area and if their hours line up with the amount of staff necessary. But for the customer it's great because if you are willing to take a risk and try a new spot they reward you with extra care. All of that holds true for Midwest Wings XL, as Ray was so kind with great recommendations and coming out to make sure we were completely satisfied multiple times which we were. The caeser salad was okay nothing fancy some romaine parm and croutons, Fries had a good crunch and good seasoning, but the wings oh dem wings were great. The Asian Zing had just the right amount of sweet heat and the garlic parm had a little breading on the skin and snapped when you bit into it. Really wish this place the best as it's a little pricey but they have some delicious offerings. Also the Red drink was pretty good as well"
"On arrival I was greeted by very friendly employees. We went for the picnic pack as there was a lot of meats to try.Sausage had a nice snap and was juicy and full of flavor. One of my favorite meats.Brisket was lean and the dry rub had a nice peppery flavor.Pulled pork was tender and juicy. Light smoky flavor made very tasty with the addition of a bit of sweet sauce.Chicken was tender and juicy with a light smoky flavor. They have some different sauces here with my favorite being the sweet sauce. Employees told me they smoked their meats with a mix of hickory and pecan wood. Place has a huge dining room in the back. One thing that made me very happy here was the drink selection. They have Hires Root Beer which was my favorite drink when I was a kid. Hires has a sweet root beer flavor and lots of foam which I love."
"Great little Lunch spot when you don't have a lot of money and you don't have a lot of time! I wish I had come sooner because it is so close to my job but found it on Yelp after doing a search for nearby lunch hot spots. Good Quality food at seriously great prices... You can't beat that! I will definitely be back to try some other items on their menu but the barbecue brisket lunch is worth a good recommendation! You won't be disappointed!"
"DillonsThis is the second of the restaurants I've been to and it is fabulous, but it is also located at one of my top three favorite zoos. Love the centerpiece fish tank.Love the food. Some of the best barbecue I have eaten in a very long time and the beans are my favorite.Gerry, Linda, Joy and Calin, you all made this place so fun, love the energy.I WOULD RECOMMEND"
"My family was craving some Hawaiian food and we decided to stop by Love Hawaiian BBQ on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with spacious amount of parking spots available. We had entered the restaurant and were the only patrons inside. The restaurant was freezing!! Even with our jackets on, it was still really cold inside! The menu had a lot of options on it such as the followingChicken:Hawaiian BBQ ChickenChicken KatsuTeriyaki ChickenOrange ChickenLemon Pepper Chicken BreastBeef:Hawaiian BBQ BeefKalbi Short RibsKalua PorkSeafood:Island White FishCrispy ShrimpAfter reviewing the menu, my family and I selected Loco Moco Chicken Katsu and Kalua pork with Rice/Mac SaladChicken Teriyaki with RiceKids Meal: BBQ BeefThe price was relatively inexpensive, approximately $45.00 for the entire order, but the portions were small. It took around 20 minutes for the entire meal to be cooked. The Loco Moco was decent. The hamburger patty was burnt and small though. The scrambled eggs and gravy was delicious. The Chicken Katsu and Kalua Pork was okay. There was a lot of breading on the Chicken Katsu. Overall, we had a good experience at Love Hawaiian BBQ."
"The word "fusion" doesn't really do this justice. Picture Caldwell County BBQ, which is some of the best in AZ, and meld it with absolutely delicious Mexican food dishes. You've got yourself Mexi-Q at its finest. The tacos are the way that I go here. Brisket, pulled pork, or the mouth-watering birria are all fair game. Be sure to ask for consomme on the side. It'll take whatever you order up a few notches. It'll also negate some of the spiciness if you prefer your dishes on the milder side. If you have kids that are picky eaters, they'll probably go for the side dishes. Choose from mac & cheese, beans, or elote (corn), which are all great choices. This is a not-so-hidden gem anymore. We came for Father's Day, and they had sold out of several meats but were still going strong with brisket all the way to the finish line. There's limited seating inside - it's mostly for ordering and picking up drinks. The patio is where it's at. It's thoughtfully laid out with ample seating, shade, and misters to keep customers cool year-round. There are long picnic-style tables, so it's great for larger groups and families who want to enjoy great food.I'm a fan. If you like good BBQ and Mexican food, I think you will be too."
"It's nice to have a good bbq place in Cave Creek. I'm glad they took over the old Bryan's bbq. Food is very similar to what I remember from old owners. Workers were very friendly and dining room was very welcoming. The pork ribs were as expected. The potato salad had large chunks of potatoes and came with generous amount of bacon topping. The half chicken was very moist and really tasty. The brisket sandwich was good but had lot of fatty pieces and burned ends. Will have to remember to ask for leaner pieces next time. My favorite was the corn bread. Recommend ordering it as a side for sure. Highly recommend! Enjoy!"
"We ordered catering and they mixed the pork and chicken. It was not written on the container so no one knew what was what. We had Muslims who couldn't eat the food due to the chicken and pork in the same space of the container. We ordered vegetarian options as well but they put meat in the beans which was very disappointing."
