"My family and I went to this location last week Thursday after 6 PM. Our daughter found this location via TikTok and Her. The food was very good. This location is very small, but they do have parking behind the restaurant and have a partner restaurant next-door for sushi and drinks as well. We had to wait about an hour or so for our table to be available because they were very busy . After we were seated, our server was amazing and the manager kept checking on our table as well and thanking us for the patience while we were waiting for our table of seven. We start order with chicken Ramen with scrambled egg instead of a soft egg to pork Ramen, the fried rice dish, the calamari fries and a catfish dish as well. All of our food had large portions very filling and delicious. Only complaint is the fried rice lack seasoning and needed more flavor. Also, the sodas come in cans with the glass at the table with ice so no free refills, unfortunately. We will definitely be back again and Her they have certain specials throughout the week which we would love to enjoy ."

We asked our waitress and she had explained that it was only about a week that they had started the bbq. My husband and I were equally happy because we had thought it was a little warm out for ramen. He ended up ordering kalbi (short ribs), I ordered bbq chicken and fried shrimp. My daughters ordered ramen and spam musubi's. We all enjoyed our food and the girls even ordered a 2nd kids ramen to share because they loved it and still a little hungry. Everything came out quickly and hot. We'll be back if and when we're in the area. The Hawaiian bbq was a great addition!! If you haven't been yet, you need to stop by."

We've heard great things about Clever Koi so we decided to give them a try.We arrived close to 8 pm and though there were other diners there, the place was not at all busy. We were greeted and seated right away. The space has a nice romantic vibe.We ordered the following:Korean fried mushroomsCalamari friesVegan ramen + soft egg x2The Korean fried mushrooms came with maitake mushrooms, daikon sprouts, red sriracha vinaigrette, and sesame seeds. They were very crunchy and tasty, especially with the vinaigrette! The calamari fries came with tempura calamari, mint, furikake, and yuzu aioli. Another tasty app. Hubs and I both ordered the same entree, vegan ramen with a soft egg. Though I appreciated the generous portion and amount of veggies (it was loaded!), I unfortunately did not love the flavor. I would have also preferred a creamier broth. I've heard their ramen is really good, so maybe I just ordered the wrong one.Nonetheless, we had a great experience and would definitely return. There's so much to try!"

If I was staying in AZ longer, I would have gone back and tried all the things. The drinks are also delicious. I grabbed a pink passion. They keep the place organized and clean. Bathroom is always clean and spacious. The patio furniture option is well thought out. Whether you want a high top seating, cushioned seating, or even low table seating and umbrellas provided. Lunch specials are great. Portions are always enough. My favorite is the chicken pad Thai. The sauce is amazinggg. Sauce is on the sweeter side. Noodles are all covered in the sauce and I appreciate that because I don't like to eat my noodles dry. Pot stickers are delicious and once again, the dipping sauce for that is so good lol They actually stuff it. Most places you get more dough than the filling. "Delicious food and fast service! We went in on Sunday lunch. There are lots of people but their service is so fast and efficient. The hot and sour soup is so delicious. I like that the soup is heavy on sour and less on spicy and salty. The crab puff is tasty with my favorite red sauce. There are an option to choose lunch side or normal dinner side. We chose normal side and got some leftovers. The kang pao chicken is not spicy and they put black bean sauce in it. This is new for me but tasty. The cinnamon shrimp has interesting name. I can taste cinnamon in this sweet sauce. These two dishes go together very well, one is salty and one is sweet. The black hot tea is strong but comforting."

It was super clean and decent parking (I went right when they opened on Saturday). Our server was really nice, attentive, and on top of our lunch service. Sashimi sampler plate was really fresh and decent cuts, except for the octopus. Unfortunately, it was very chewy. Even my mom was saying she might choke because it's not breaking down as we're chewing. Music was a little too loud when we walked in, but perhaps it was just on at the level from the night before, Friday night club scene. Otherwise, between 1 lunch special, sashimi sampler, and vegetable tempura with 2 waters tab was $170, not including tip. It was slightly overpriced, in my opinion. We had the option to sit anywhere and it was very nice to get to sit inside and still get some outdoor fresh air and sun....the magic table that gets the best of both worlds is in the corner table, bench seating right on the edge of inside and outside. You'll thank me later, you're welcome, ha. Would still come back based on our service and freshness with their sashimi."

They were yummy and we devoured everything. My husband was also excited to get an Orion beer (they are brewed in Okinawa Japan and imported). Service was great, the servers were very attentive. The place did start to pickup greatly once 6pm came so we were glad we arrived earlier. The decor is subtle and nice. The pricing was a bit high but we knew the costs for what we ordered. With tax and tip we spent a little over $90."

All chicken dishes we ordered had enough sauce to coat the food without it swimming in it. All the chicken dishes we tried had a similar sweetness. Even the General Tso's had a real sweetness to it. Mongolian beef was medium spicy. Beef wasn't chewy. I wish we would have ordered a vegetable dish as well. That is not reflected in the number of stars. More a thought after the food started trickling in, and I realized the kids didn't order entrees with vegetables. A little work could be used on cleanliness. Dining room was completely empty, upon arrival. Having never been here before, we waited to see if we should seat ourselves, or wait to be seated. We were directed to a table against the wall. Floor around and under the table had pieces of dropped food. It looked like a family with young children had been there previously. My hand became sticky from something on the menu. Some brown splatters on the white sweetener packet holders. I could see these things getting overlooked during a rush. I had to take a star away for these being the conditions during an early dinner, where they sat us. Otherwise, Wok Wei would be a solid 4 stars."

They may have 1 or 2 items (yakisoba) that you may find in Japan or Japanese restaurants but these are more American style "asian" fast food more toward Chinese style.Got a combo C to try a few things at this sitting. House chicken is basically chopped up grilled chicken in a "chop suey" style stir fry with cabbage slivers of cabbage mushroom and broccoli. Tossed in a heavy soy type sauce. Imo was very salty and didn't finish it. I do not like wasting food and try to take things home etc but actually left the rest behind.2nd item in the combo is Kaum Poong Kee. I've never heard of this dish before so really wanted to try this. Thick heavy tempura style batter chicken tossed in a sweet slightly spicy soy sauce. It was very heavy and the sauce was too much for me. I left a few pieces behind as well. Was super crunchy and freshly fried however. Overall was just too much salt for me. Maybe a simple teri chicken bowl would be better options here.If this is what you been going to for years more power to you and thank you for supporting small businesses but not for me sorry."

They have a great lunch menu. Hubby and I both chose the Lunch Sushi Crush $13.75 which consists of miso soup, salad, 4 pieces of nigiri, 8 pieces of California roll and 8 pieces of spicy tuna roll. It was a ton of food and what a great value! My favorite was the tuna nigiri with a bit of real wasabi on top. It was so buttery and melted in my mouth. We were both very full and still had 11 pieces of California roll and 7 pieces of spicy tuna roll left over! I loved their decor, atmosphere, and how friendly everyone is. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again."

From what I saw, they had 2 chefs. One chef only made sushi and put it away for later usage. He did not once make any rolls for the customer. The other chef was the only one who made sushi rolls for customers and it was extremely slow. I only ordered 2 rolls ans several nigiri and it took almost 2 hours, no joke. The food was very good and I enjoyed it, but the chef service was terrible. Some new changes in this restaurant since my visit last year is that lunch is now $20 and dinner is $30, down from $36. They also add in eel (unagi) nigiri, which was awesome. I hope they add salmon roe nigiri some day and I also hope the service is faster the next time I visit."

It was expensive but the portion size was pretty large! I got the sauce on the side which I'm glad I did because they gave me a ton and I didn't need that much, I don't like when there's too much sauce on stuff. It said it was spicy but I didn't think it was spicy at all!"
