At My Place Cafe

I always recommend At My Place Cafe to friends looking to try authentic Filipino food that isn't from a chain.So far, my partner and I have tried the sizzling sisig, lumpia shanghai (pork egg rolls), lechon kawali, bistek tagalog, longsilog, bangsilog, and ginataang langka.We have enjoyed the flavors of every single one! If this is your first time here, I would highly recommend you try the sizzling sisig first. It is balanced with some acid and heat to cut through the richness. It's also always a treat to get a sizzling hot plate dish. Make sure to mix in the egg asap to cook it properly.All of the fried dishes are done very well. I have never felt anything was dripping with grease. The lechon kawali manages to be incredibly crisp and tender on the inside. The food is so fresh that it can be pretty hot. Be careful!The restaurant itself is very clean and bright with the staff's cheeriness to match. It's very casual where you do have to go up to the register to place your order first, grab a table number, and seat yourselves.They are also pretty popular. There was a day where the restaurant was packed with multiple large groups. That was the only time the service fell behind. We didn't get our rice at the same time as our main dishes. Otherwise, food generally comes out quickly and always fresh.At My Place Cafe clearly places love and emphasis on their food quality. It is a must try for anyone looking to get Filipino food in the valley.

Disappointed. Food is pretty bad. Halo-halo is bland and anemic. No colors. Meaning they didn't have a variety in ingredients. It's usually mixed with green or red jelly, leche flan, ube cream, red beans...Food is not memorable.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The best gourmet Authentic Kapampangan restaurant. For someone who came from Pampanga (Culinary Capital of the Philippines) I find this place close to home. I perpetually feel nostalgic when I come here. Prices are reasonable, service is quick and easy.Try their Bicol express too, you'll ask for more. Manyaman!!!

Amazing food! The best food I have in Arizona. The staff are nice. Came here for dinner and it did not disappoint. We had pork sisig, pork bida goongan, lechon, and halo halo. All were fantastic. The lechon was so crispy and moist. The sisig is actually crispy! Only improvement would be a little cooler inside. Otherwise, no complaint.

Stopped in to At My Place for some Filipino food with some friends. We have been here before so we planned to order ahead so others in our group could make the most of their lunch hour away from work. With previous visits the service was a little slow so we planned accordingly. Most of our order arrived very quickly (15-20 minutes) but unfortunately one of our items was especially delayed (30-40 minutes). The staff seemed a bit confused when we asked about the deleted missing dish but it eventually arrived. At the time I placed our orders it wasn't packed or crazy busy so the next time we come we will plan our order timing a little better. Orders are placed and paid for before we take our seats then the food is brought out to us.The portions were just right for most of the dishes. The pinakbet was the largest dish we received. Most everyone was satisfied with their dishes. Only one person was a bit disappointed because their egg was a bit underdone and not as originally requested. We ordered extra food to take home for dinner so we appreciated that they provided us several containers and bags.The restaurant is simple but appeared clean. The refrigerated case had an assortment of desserts for sale displayed in convenient take away containers. The menu is clearly posted on the wall above the cash register. I didn't remember to check which cards they I used but American Express was processed without issue.The parking lot is under construction so we had to park a little farther away from the restaurant but it wasn't a major issue or concern.The staff were nice and friendly even with the order confusion (which they resolved without a problem).We haven't been to too many Filipino restaurants in the Phoenix area so it's nice to find a place with a generous selection of Filipino dishes. Go check them out if you're in the mood for Filipino food.

The food is delicious and portions are generous. Im so glad I stumbled in for lunch today! I didn't understand the menu, but Liza was so nice and helped me navigate the menu to find something delicious. I absolutely loved my noodles which had delicious veggies, chicken, lemon, and even three pieces of fried shrimp on top.

Awesome food and service. Everything was made fresh and so tasty. Staff went out of their way to insure all was good. Best pancit I have ever had.

THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!!! It really was a great place. I would recommend I'm telling everyone I know about that place. The employees were so nice about everything they made me and my moms day the best. The food is amazing I love trying new foods and this is one of my favorite restaurants. I ever had In my life.The service was so quick and they would help you if you needed anything.

Highly recommeneded! Traveling from chicago to Phoenix, we search the best Filipino resto in Phoenix.. and this place has a lot of good reviews this we tried. Food is great! The owner Ms Flordeliza is the nicest! Making sure the customer service is at the best! Though i still rate this as 5-stars, but the cashier can be more friendly , welcoming, share some smiles, that would be great..
