Artizen

I had a family member from out of town staying at The Camby, and she invited us to dinner at Artizen. Parking was a little tricky, we couldn't find a lot; however, valet parking IS validated if you eat at the restaurant. Just remember to tip the valet peeps!Inside was pretty empty for 7:30 on a Saturday evening. There were some people at the bar and only one table of people sitting. There are a great variety of options for seating. We were greeted by our server and he was pretty good and attentive. He was friendly as well. I had the artizen burger with fries - they are smashburgers and cooked well-done. The burger had good flavor and was slightly above average in flavor. The fries, however, were BOMB. They were thick and well-seasoned. Loved those!! Artizen is a solid place to grab some dinner and drinks, especially if you're staying at The Camby!

I came here a couple of times throughout my stay at the camby since there were vouchers to be redeemed at artizen. Got my welcome drinks and $25 credit for each night that I stayed. It was a great deal! For lunch, I had ravioli, and that was alright. The food choices were great. I was able to try both the breakfast and lunch here. The service could've been better. It was quite confusing as it's a sit yourself place. I didn't know who the server was to my area. I did try the drinks, and they were alright, I should've asked for something I knew I would've liked instead of their concoctions. I did eat the Flatbread for breakfast, but it was a bit too much with the eggs. All in all, all 3 of my trips to this restaurant were well worth it.

The restaurant is beautiful and convenient if you are staying at The Camby. You seat yourself at the bar or at a table and the staff will greet you. Because of the location, the prices are a little high for breakfast.The banana French toast was delicious with plenty of fresh cut fruits. The French toast itself was very well done. The All-American Breakfast was what you would expect. I appreciated the crunchy bacon and crispy breakfast potatoes. Overall the food is good. I wouldn't go here if I am not staying at the hotel as there is only valet parking.

Artizen is inside of the Camby Hotel and after checking in we went over for a few drinks and a small appetizer. They were out of the Blackberry chicken wings so we went for the shrimp street tacos and they sure were tasty! We sat at the bar and our bartender was very polite and told us about how the area has grown rapidly. Overall would recommend this place to others especially if staying at the Camby.

The food is a solid 2, the service is a 5, and the ambience is a 4. The bar is a10 though! It's a hotel restaurant/bar so it's a mix of people who like their very scrumptious cocktails, tourists in town and who want to explore Scottsdale, and business folks attending conferences.

Came here for a bachelorette dinner since they have a private room and we wanted to use the TV. service was extremely slow, food was extremely mid and the room was so loud. There aren't doors just curtains and the bar area right outside was extremely loud. I tried calling over a dozen times in the weeks after making the reservation to confirm details but could not get through and no one answered my voicemails. Was quite disappointed with this and regret coming here. Would not recommend for any special event.

Service was good here both for breakfast and afternoon drinks at the bar. It is pricy, but that's expected for the area/location. Ambiance is nice and clean. The potatoes at breakfast were not fresh. You can tell they had been sitting out for a few hours. Besides that, the breakfast was good. Service has been great.

"FLATBREAD TORTILLAS WERE A FAIL." -price: $$$For the price I would not order these again. The flavor is good don't get me wrong; the tortilla is very similar to flat bread and then they have melted cheese on that flat bread. Melted cheese on flat bread for SHRIMP TACOS in my opinion just doesn't work. Flavor profiles are good! Like the taco does taste good but it WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER IF it was a yellow corn tortilla. The cheese isn't necessary for a shrimp taco. Shrimp tacos are suppose to feel refreshing and the cheese on the tortilla takes away from that. Shrimp are full of citrus flavor with the green salsa and guac AMAZING but then add dairy into the Mix and it takes away from what could HAVE BEEN A 10/10! Dairy, seafood and ACID don't mix well!!In contrast (replace the shrimp for carne asada) and it's A HOME RUN!! I did notice you guys have the same taco for your carne asada so I applaud you for that but change the tortilla and take away the cheese on the shrimp tacos. These tacos are too expensive for them not to be perfect.

I was traveling and stayed at The Camby, one of my new regular place to stay. I arrived late and it was nice to have the restaurant bar/restaraunt open later. I enjoyed a glass of wine and ordered the shrimp tacos. They were so flavorful and packed with pick de gallo, guacamole and salsa. I sat up at the bar and Jessie and his brother were serving. They were so nice and their customer service was fantastic. I ended up coming back the second day because I had such a good experience. I love that the Artizen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a full bar. I enjoyed Avacado Toast for breakfast one morning. I can always rely on great service and they are quick with their service.

Absolutely bizarre experience, I came here to have dinner alone and treat myself after having a relaxing massage. An older female server came to my table with a bent up paper menu and water, and let me know they were out of salmon. She then proceeded not to come back for a while. In the time I was waiting for her (I was sitting right next to the kitchen entrance) I watched her go back and forth several times upset and almost throwing a tantrum like a child with another server.. probably about the limited items on the overly priced menu. Once she finally stormed up to my table, she said "what can I get you for dinner..." ummm how about something other than the water you left me with for 15 mins?! I asked, what's your seasonal beer... she goes "ummmm" turns back to the bar and says "I don't see a third tap, we're out!" Ok cool... I said are you guys usually out of items... she goes "Ya!" Wow!I got up and left, odd customer service and lack of ingredients!
