Pho Saigon

Yes, the Pho is pretty good here, but the star of the show is the bun thit nuong.I order delivery from here quite often and everything always arrives fresh, and we'll packaged. With it being summertime, I was not in the mood for a hot soup this time around and ordered the vermicelli with grilled pork. I was surprised to see smaller grilled pieces rather than a pork chop, but oh my gosh, this is so much better. The pork was so flavorful and so tender. I did take off one star because the amount of sauce provided for the dish was not quite enough to cover the amount of food. Please do not pass on this dish!

Always seated right away when we come here. The pho comes quickly and it's never too packed. Friendly service & clean bathrooms

Pho broth was good and service was courteous and prompt also was very clean and parking was good

Hole in the wall Vietnamese in predominantly Chinese part of northeast Philly. Pretty famous for their pho, I'm partial to the vermicelli. Very relaxed atmosphere with metal chairs and tables. Typical Philly shop house take away restaurant. Usually not crowded. $15 per dish with tax and tip. We will return. The shrimp with perfectly grilled and the fish sauce was excellent.

Where do I start. As my family and I walk in the door. We were greeted by Charlie. Super friendly and polite guy. He immediately got a booster seat for my 2 year old daughter. Than got us water and our appetizers. My wife and I share a Banh Mi Oppla Cha Lua. My auntie got some egg rolls. These were delicious. We the Pho Dac Biet and Bun Thit Nuong Dac Biet for the entrees. I share my pho with my daughter. They were super accommodating, got me some scissor so I can cut up the meats and noddles for my daughter. Finish off with some Viet Iced Coffee. The best spot to get your Vietnamese grub.

The amount of food is too small and the taste is average. It's not worth the price. The environment in the store is quite clean and the service attitude is okay.

I got severe food poisoning from the delivery food here, the shredded pork skin in my pork chop dish was rotten. I only ate one bite, and only because it was my first time tasting it, even though it looked wrong, I thought, maybe this is how it's supposed to be, thinking, I should be brave, and try it. No. It was so slimy and sandy in my mouth. leaving sandy bits of itself on my tongue, that I wiped my tongue off with a napkin. I have since seen videos on youtube of broken rice pork chop dish, where the shredded pork looked completely different. I suffered on the toilet for days after that rotten food. At one point, after Pho Saigon had made me sick twice in a row, I remember yelling, on the toilet, in the bathroom for the 20th time, "Never again, Pho Saigon!"

The broth is good, not the most flavorful I've ever had but it really hits the spot on a cold rainy day or when soothing a hangover. I'm sure it's delicious other times too but that's when I tend to want it most. The takeout is well packed although they don't fill up the broth container fully kind of skimp sometimes. But the ingredients are always fresh and delicious and the crispy spring rolls are a nice addition. I've only ever gotten pho tai and pho tai chin, both were delicious.

I've been to a lot of Pho places in the area and I must say this place I would not recommend. The only reason I chose this place was due to the fact that my go to is close for the evening. What I ordered was the Pho Deluxe, Cha gio, Goi cuon, and Mi Bo Kho.The Pho deluxe which is their version of Pho dac biet aka Pho special which normally have a variety of meats and sometimes meatballs in it. To my surprise when I received it there were barely any different types of meats. I was suppose to received round eye steak, flank, tendon, and tripe but I didn't even receive the tendon and I only received two small pieces of tripe. As most have mentioned in other reviews I don't understand why do they only fill half the container with broth when it's not enough with all the ingredient when place in a bowl. The pho here is mediocre at best and if you are in a jam and need some badly than that would be a judgement call to try.The Cha gio and goi cuon however is not bad and taste pretty decent. Keep in mind I would eat the goi cuon first and quickly because the rice paper wrap was sticking really bad to the the plastic wrap they were using. The cha gio were crispy and tasted decent.Lastly, the Mi bo kho if I could give this a 0 rating I would. This has got to be the worst Mi Bo kho I have ever taste. The broth does not even taste like Bo kho and I know I can make better mi bo kho than they are serving. The broth has a taste like liver and beef tripe you would get from dimsum. The richness you're suppose to get from bo kho is definitely not there. The broth is too watery and I definitely would not recommend and advice to stay away from this particular choice.This was my first time here and probably would be my last time returning. If I was in a jam than maybe I would return for the appetizer.

This restaurant by far serves the best Vietnamese food I've ever tasted from Philadelphia to California... The PHO broth is out of this world and they use black Angus steak. I've never seen another PHO shop use high-grade steak. the service is quick and the prices are on point! I love this place!
