I dont know what I was expecting, greasy spoon type diner maybe? But this was not it.Mostly a take out place, with COVID protocols still in place. It didnt seem like you could eat there, but we were guided to a corner booth. All coffees and food are served to you in styrofoam cups/to go containers. Maybe you dont have to pay a dishwasher this way, but damn, styrofoam?!I have a bone to pick with whoever on Google touted this place as having the "best french toast". You sir, are an idiot.Again, I've had AMAZING breakfasts from greasy spoon, grimy diners...but this just didnt cut it. Service was quick and polite though. Everyone was very nice.

First and last time I will be ordering breakfast from here. I ordered platters for my family and the French toast for my son, when we opened it it had staples in it. Another platter had hair mixed in with the eggs and my potatoes had pieces of metal in it. I would never order from here again. I ordered from door dash, neither the restaurant nor DoorDash would refund my order

I am so very angry! I will never patronize this restaurant again!!! My order was missing items and I was overcharged. Owner was rude and nasty and if look could kill...I would be dead. Nobody ever apologized for their mistakes. They have lost long time customers for life!!!

What do you want for breakfast?Eggs over easy on top of fries. Ok. Or wing dings and French toast.The food here is cooked to order. Very good. It's a local spot with just home cooked, nothing more.Two new menu items are Bulgogi Rice and Donkattsu. Both are delicious.Prices are reasonable. Parking is plenty.

Visiting Philly and looking for a local spot, well you have come to the right place. It can't get any local than this. The community comes in and order there food on a Sunday morning as the everyone knows it each other. The food was great. I think I paid for what I got. My favorite item was the hot chocolate!!!! The hot chocolate was very delicious. Get it to go or while eating in, and I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Food is good.... Staff that work there is horrible. Not all but some. I knew my ordered was messed up when I called in it, I decided to speed there to verify it and yes it was wrong and I "thought" it was corrected. I received my food after I paid and left the restaurant to go home and eat. I got home and I see my order is STILL wrong! Smh I started the call with "you guys have French toast correct?" She said yes then I said my order - French toast, eggs scrambled with cheese, grits extra butter and bacon! I get there and I'm missing items and almost had cheese in my grits if I didn't go in and verify!Lastly when I called back to tell them I'm missing items out my order then lady on the phone says to me "oh ok" as if it didn't matter because they was about to close. And I asked to speak to a manager after that.

Worst service ever. Overpriced. Please go somewhere else - the food and service are absolutely trash and the owner is a scammer with no active moral compass apparently. Had hair in my food twice and the scamming owner did nothing about it; he just brushed it off like it was insignificant and not his fault. The place should be permanently closed as I'm sure plenty of health code violations are being broken. I'll be following up with the City and the State to get them shut down. Go at your own risk, but highly DO NOT recommend. Stay away!
