Bagel is decent but bruh who doesnt TOAST A BAGEL when they serve it with cream cheese or like ask if you want it toasted? And for like 5$ for a bagel with cream cheese too

Really great fresh bagels! They never disappoint. Can get a little crowded especially on weekends so I recommend ordering ahead when possible!

Cute little bagel shop, best in fishtown. Workers are always so nice and quick. Good variety of CC flavors to choose from!

I just want them to be able to toast a bagel. Seriously why is this business so against toasting a bagel. When ordering you have to specify that the bagel needs to be toasted. I strongly believe this should be the default but okay it is not so with each order you have to explicitly mark your order as to be toasted. I can live with that except they still won't toast your bagel. The last 3 times I've ordered here it was not toasted despite it being on the order and when requesting them to resolve it you would think I asked them to put pineapple on my pizza. Even after asking them to fix your order it will be so lightly toasted it might as well not be at all.It's unfortunate because I live close by but now I will walk further to get what I want instead of going back to this business.

I'd suggest ordering online so you don't have to wait. The wait is too long, the breakfast rush hour should have been over with. We swung by around 11:15am on a Saturday and they only had blueberry and everything bagels left. For a bagel shop that's been open for awhile, they should be able to forecast how many bagels need to be made for a Saturday. The bagel itself, very small. The bagels are also dense and hard. I recognize we came later in the morning but as a bagel spot, the bagels should be fresh and soft throughout the whole time the shop is open. Lox #2 - generous with toppings, the dill was fresh and ample. The slice of radish was thick and added a nice crunch. Bagel itself, once again, hard pass. Pizza bagel- tomato sauce with melted cheese on top. I thought this bagel would be more creative. Maybe a slice off fresh mozzarella in between cream cheese with a pesto spread???Coffee- there are 25 other coffee shops walking distance that are much better!$27 for two bagels and a coffee, not worth it.

I think this place only got such high reviews because it is the only bagel spot in the area. Growing up in NJ, I guess I just have higher standards for bagels and customer service. I ordered a bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese, which I assumed would only take a couple minutes to slab some cream cheese on a bagel. But I ended up standing outside and waiting for close to 30 minutes. Bagels are small and the cream cheese was "smoked salmon flavored." It did not have any actual pieces of lox which was so disappointing for the price. I'd definitely recommend ordering online for pickup to avoid the long wait.

Great homemade bagels. The ingredients are so fresh and tasty. You can order in advance and pick up to avoid the wait. Some bagels are not available every day. Staff is nice and helpful!

I've never experienced worse customer service. They messed up our order and then instead of saying sorry and fixing it they wanted to argue. And when I say they, I mean the entire shop got so out of hand. The cook came over and escalated everything after I walked away to wait for them to fix their mistake. Part of the mistake with our food also resulted in them overcharging and they didn't offer to refund until I mentioned that they billed us for their mistake. The saddest part was that the food turned out to not even taste good. It was so salty. But maybe they messed with it. When we looked them up on Google they had a lot of good reviews but here on yelp 3.5 is still a stretch. The Google review of 4.5 can't possibly be real.
