Pleasantly surprised by this neighborhood gem. The hot and sour soup is so delish. I love around the corner and foolishly waited several months to try this place. So yummy and affordable highly recommend. Now I order from here atleast 2-3 times a month

I ordered chicken wings, and this is what I received. The chicken wings were very dark and I can taste the old oil. I ordered eight pieces. A couple of the wings were regular size and a couple of them were small tiny wings that looked unusually small. Everything else I order was OK but the wings was very bothersome. The gentleman that picked up the phone was very nice however.

I've been ordering takeout from here for years and years and never had any issues. When we crave sushi delivery Terryin is always on our radar. Their sushi is solid and pretty consistent. Having ordered some of their Chinese foods, I'd say stick to sushi. It's not bad but it's not great and there are other really good Chinese food places. Terryin remains a staple in our house and the prices are reasonable. Delivery can take a little while but it's always nice and fresh.

This is my go-to place. Always quick and a wide variety of options to choose from. Great for lunch special. Reasonably priced, generous portions, genuinely tasty. Especially love their pink lady roll & salmon lover.

Poor customer service. Food failed to arrive and upon calling the establishment several times, the employee only had excuses like the driver is driving slow because it's raining (it's not raining) we'll call the driver and call you back ( they never called back). The delivery location is .4 miles from the restaurant. Unsure of what the issue is and more than two hours later the restaurant is still not being helpful in providing an acceptable update or admitting that perhaps the food is not going to show up. The person at the restaurant became pugnacious for no reason as we were persistent at wanting to know what has happened and honestly we wanted our dinner. Order at your own risk, you may starve. Food has not shown up from ordering at 5:57, it's now 8:10.

Always has great sushi and sashimi. One of my favorites to take out from. The portions are generous and reasonable price.

I don't know what happened, but this place has really changed. It used to be pretty good for the regular and simple Chinese takeout, but quality isn't the same. Our beef flat noodles were pretty bad (tasteless, all the noodles were melted and stuck to each other, seemed like rice noodles were not made correctly) and the hot & sour soup was tasty except they did not follow the instructions to make it very mild. This was extremely spicy for some reason? Maybe honest mistake, but it was disappointing. I added water to it and it was still hot (my plastic spoon was covered in red oil... assuming they added a lot of spiciness). Sorry, but I guess I need to find a new favorite spot

I initially found the woman at the front counter to be a little pushy and off putting. She asked if I was ready to order in quite a gruff tone. After I did so, she then directed me to sit down on a stool. When I wasn't moving fast enough she said, "you, please, sit here". I wouldn't say by the set up that I would ever dine in here. What would be the dining room is filled with boxes and other miscellaneous items that don't exude the kind of atmosphere that it should.All of this aside, let's talk about my order. I got my regular go to rolls, eel and cucumber and spicy tuna. I also tried the hidden dragon roll which consisted of crab and avocado and topped with salmon, tobiko, scallion and a special sauce. The roll was good but there was a sweet element in the sauce that seemed out of place. Speaking of sauces, I've never had a spicy tuna roll that didn't include one of some kind usually a spicy mayo. I was kind of disappointed in that. That being said I would definitely be willing to try more rolls from them. The fish was fresh and the prices were reasonable.

This one was my second time ordering from this restaurant and I am actually loving the food they prepare. The samurai party tray consists of 46 pieces of sushi that you can share or eat all by yourself. It was perfect for the 2 of us. We ordered the house special lo mian too. I thought it was a bit salty and oily towards the bottle of the bowl but the first bite was actually amazing. The noodles weren't too dry and had soaked up some flavor from the sauce The shrimps and chicken were flavorful as well. I would definitely order another party try. I wish they would have a build your own party tray though, that would be pretty awesome.

Do yourself a favor and order from anywhere else. Either people in south Philly don't know what good Chinese food is, or their taste buds are just fried after the refinery explosion. Because there's no way this place should be in business.
