Smells like cat piss in there. It's gross. The groceries look gross and they're produces disgusting. Overpriced because of the neighborhood.

This corner shop is extremely out of touch and overpriced. You can find better prices and better selection at other markets in the area, including the CVS across the street which offers a selection of grocery items. $10 card minimum so it's not convenient for a quick run when you may just need one thing. Staff has not been friendly on my last few visits, will not be going back. The flowers outside of the store are what I typically grab, however they manipulate and increase the price during peak seasons and around holidays which I don't agree with as a business tactic, especially when I considered this small market as a niche neighborhood store who valued its customers, and the selection has gotten cheaper in quality.

Local living? If you're in a pinch, or just too lazy to walk to 10th & spruce or 20th & Market where the larger grocery stores are, then Spruce Market is for you. They have basically one of everything, for full price. You won't get a lot of variety here, but if you need something last minute, you can find it here. For example, I forgot bagged lettuce for my taco salad, went to Spruce Market, they don't have bagged lettuce but they did have a full head of lettuce that I chopped up. You need a bag of chips? You can get it here, but you pay the stamped price on the bag. No discounts. No sales. You need flowers? They sell several different varieties here, but they also are not cheap. The craft beer selection is also nice, and there's a few tables to sit down inside in the beer section. Overall, good to have locally nearby, but I would never do my prime grocery shopping here. I'd be broke. Small purchase? Check the credit card minimum. Its either $10 or $15, so bring cash.

This was the only place that carried the defense vitamin water flavor for quite sometime. Curses R for getting me addicted to it! They have a really wide selection of both nonalcoholic and alcoholic. They have the curiosity sodas and they have my fave dirt cheap asti spumante. Verde, is a perfect spumante for mimosas. If you can find it in delaware or a BJ's in NJ its under 15 for the huge bottle and 10 for the smaller. It's worth it if you are making champagne cocktails. It's priced higher at spruce, but it's nice to know I can go buy it there in a pinch. They also have quite a variety of everything in their aisles. My other have thing is the small package of ground beef. It's perfect if you just want a hamburger or to make tacos.

THIS PLACE IS NO GOOD! For months they have been having the garbage collection company disturbing the peace every day. between the hours of 12-4 am the garbage company comes and wakes up the neighborhood with the noise. I have mentioned it to the owner many times and even called the city council. They have not made any efforts nor care to resolve. so as a result they get my 1 star. PLUS EVERYTHING IS $$$ Overpriced by about $3 bucks. GO TO CVS about 100 feet away!

This store allows me to, for a half hour, to feel transported back to the heart of midtown Manhattan, New York City, and parts of central Queens, as I remember them; particularly at the time point a few years ago when I was last frequenting those parts of town. Minus the steam table, and add a bit more CBD,; and you've got the basic classic Korean deli (with a nod to health foods) store, right there. The prices are better than I remembered them from the average of those places. This first impression gets them five stars (and you know the old saw about first impressions).I was rushing to get somewhere else, but I did not feel rushed by staff, or crushed by throngs...felt I could have lingered...

The beer is two times the price of other stores in the neighborhood. The flowers last two days. The cashiers are rude and unhelpful. They smart talk even senior citizens. If you want to be treated poorly this is a great place.

Walked in to pick up three things I needed in a pinch. When I went to check out the cashier said I needed to reach a $10 minimum in order to pay with a debit card. I explained I didn't have cash on me and that I didn't need anything else. She refused to let me check out and I had to leave without the items I needed. Very disappointing and not customer friendly at all.
