Siddiq's Real Fruit Water Ice

This is where you can find your perfect summer treats! I always hear great things about this place but never got the chance to try it due to its location being so far away. The staffs are very friendly and we told them it was our first time and he immediately started giving us taste samples of each water ice flavor without us asking. You can tell they are proud of their products. All the water ice flavors are made with real fruits. It's a tastier and healthier alternative to the Italian shaved ice which are often drenched in artificial flavoring and food coloring. The water ice comes in 3 different sizes:1. Small $4 - pick 2 flavor 2. Medium $8 - pick 3 flavor 3. Larger $12 - pick 4 flavor We ended up getting the medium with flavors such as white grape, strawberry lemonade, and honey dew. It tasted heavenly, especially on a hot summer day. The water ice texture is perfectly frozen and doesn't melt immediately. The white grape flavor had actually pieces of grape skin! I absolutely love it. They had around 7+ flavors to pick from and I assume they rotate the flavors as well through out the year. The portion size is very generous. They also sell other items but is most famous for their water ice. I only wished they would open another location closer to downtown! I would definitely go every week if it was right down the street from where I live.

I couldn't put the cup down. It was sooooo fresh and tasty. I was able to try all the available options before purchasing. The mango lemonade was the best. I had the blueberry lemonade as well. That was great too. I love that I could see the fruit in the water ice. I definitely will be back to try other flavors and the funnel cake next time I'm in Philly!!

Truly wonderful on this warm spring day. My little one and I came and sampled all the flavors. The woman behind the counter was so pleasant and happy to give us the samples. We got there around opening and people were already popping into the store less than a half an hour in. As for the water ice itself, it definitely has a fresh quality about it that I haven't experienced before. I loved the fruity flavors and babygirl thought hers was so yummy!

First let me preface this review by saying Siddiq and his wife are phenomenal people who genuinely care about the community and their customers! I had the opportunity to talk to them for about an hour about what they've given back to the community and how they do it from the heart and that made me want to give them all my money! The space is in the heart of West Philly it's bright and beautiful. They make all of their water ices and other treats in house. Before you decide on your water ice flavor you can try all the different flavors. We stopped past on a chilly Saturday because I was craving funnel cake and water ice. I suggest asking for them to cook the funnel cake longer if you prefer a crispier texture like me. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the items we got because I devoured them before I realized a picture would be helpful. The funnel cake is huge and they didn't skimp on the powder sugar. The water ice flavors were amazing. My partner ordered the coquito flavor and he absolutely loved it. My tiny human ordered the blueberry lemonade flavor and it was delicious. This is definitely a place you should visit and support! They also have a Chester location that offer different flavors!

I have virtually lived and walking distance from this place for a few years and somehow have never ventured in. Usually because the lines are long or I'm just not in the mood for water ice. I finally just randomly took the venture in a while back and I'm just getting to this review but I really wanted to speak on just how friendly the vibe is here and when they say "real fruit waterice" they really mean it! You can always hear the music blasting from speakers outside of this place even from a block away but it's usually some old school chill music and you always feel like you're at a block party or a cookout. I ordered myself a small mango berry which only came out to like three bucks, great price. And I also order some funnel cake because I can just can't help myself lol that mango berry was something special even had a slightly creamy texture to the water ice. That's how you definitely know they are using real fruit. I actually never had a water ice and funnel cake combo but I really enjoyed it and maybe too much. I got to count these calories but not today. The place is pretty small so my pants more of a grab and go but if you would a group of people I can see why people would want to grab some water ice and just chill out front listening to the music.

The best water ice I have ever had. I visited Siddiq's Real Fruit Water Ice this past summer. Hence the name, Siddiq uses real fruit to make his water ice and recently won Billy Penn's Ultimate Frozen Treat.Siddiq was there the day I visited and he gave me samples of each flavor before I bought. I ended up getting a gelati water ice. I can't remember the flavor, maybe strawberry but all of their flavors are delicious, so you'll make a great choice no matter what you decide. My gelati was layered with water ice on the bottom, ice cream in the middle and water ice on top. There was a special flavor in the icecream. It doesn't tastes like usual soft serve ice cream.He also has a second location in Chester open year round. Must visit soon for the King Kong Shrimp and the extended menu at this location. The Philly location is cash only and closed for the winter but I believe reopens February 22. I tried visiting the Philly location a few times during the summer after my inital visit. Sadly, they were always closed even though I came during opening hours. Be sure to call ahead of time to make sure open because the hours may vary.

Siddiqs water ice was truly a treat especially in the middle of a heat wave. The staff was friendly and gave us cups for free frozen lemonade (originals sn strawberry flavors), because it was it first visit. They had three flavors that day, coco, coco berry, and mango berry. We were served samples of each flavor and decided to get the mango berry. The small size was only $3 and swerved in a very generous portion. The water ice was very fine and had real pieces of fruit in it!! This is definitely a grab and go type of place, or grab and stand around type of place. You take your pick. I heard they rotate their flavors, so that means I must come back to check it out again!

Best Water Ice in Philly!!Found at the Philly ice cream festival. The ice is a great smooth texture and the flavors are fresh and taste like real fruit. Recommend the Strawberry Lemonade flavor and the Lemon Mint Mojito flavor. $5 for a cup that was enough for me and my boyfriend to share. Service was great! Very friendly. They served out of their food truck which was at a convenient location. Definitely a must visit for those looking for a truly great Philadelphia experience!

when they opened up last year it was great, me and my family came around last week, the pretzels where dry the oil went bad you could smell it, and the water ice , the options weren't very open their water ice was made from real fruit but your could see the green leaves in the strawberry water ice , but the service was great , and it didn't take a lot of time but i wouldn't recommend
