"This is my number one roast duck in North America so far, it's very delicious, another recommended dish is beef brisket noodles"
"This place solidified that I need to move here.First, let me tell you about the truffle fries. They do NOT disappoint. Even when I go during happy hour, I always ask for the full basket because I put those puppies down in minutes.Drinks are amazing. Wide selection and they always have specials. It's a little more on the expensive side, however, the food and the servers make it worth it, ESPECIALLY if you get to sit out on the patio during the summer. So nice to chat and people watch!"

We were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour which was understandable because of the snow and it did end up taking an hour. I hear from people who have ordered from here before that it usually takes less than 20 minutes to be delivered though! The food was good - I ordered a general tso's dinner box and it came with pork fried rice, an egg roll, and a large portion of the general tso's chicken. Large portions and tasty but the rice lacked some flavor. Other people in my group got sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli which also looked good. Prices were reasonable as the dinner box only costs $9.75. Overall a great meal for a day snowed in!"
"Best in the city! Been going for 20 years. LONG LINES. Very long. Bring extreme patience. You won't be disappointed. Lol"
"The food was decent and quick. The service is awesome they are really good people. Price a little higher than most and parking is difficult. But definitely worth a try!"
"Collegeville is lacking a good many things, and a decent takeout Chinese food place is definitely on that list. Well, perhaps no longer. I honestly had no idea Rice House was there, and it seems as though they are very new to the area. I tried it today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised!Ordered online for in-store pick-up. Their website could use a bit more work, but it allowed me to order online easily and quickly. Got the job done for sure. Order took about fifteen minutes and was ready when I arrived to pick it up. Service at the restaurant was pleasant, though I only spoke with the one girl who took my payment. You can pay in-person or online, but I chose in-person this time. Restaurant itself is small, basically purpose built for takeout in the traditional "small front area, ordering counter, and huge kitchen in the back" layout. Order was a lunch portion of General Tso's with pork fried rice, some beef on a stick, and tangerine chicken. It was all delicious! Ok, the beef on a stick was average. Good flavor, but it needed to be cooked hotter or longer. No caramelization on the meat at all, and that really gives it some extra flavor. But very tender. The General Tso's and Tangerine chicken were both delicious! Lots of flavorful sauce, good cuts of chicken, and crispy! So many takeout chinese places in the area, you get the food, the chicken is soggy. Rice House's offering is crispy and crunchy even after I got it home, which I've been desperately missing. The pork fried rice had lots of flavor, but was not greasy, so a pleasant combination.Overall, this may be my new place for Chinese takeout, though I hope they improve the beef on a stick. That being said, if you like takeout chinese, definitely give this place a shot!"
"I was looking for a new quick restaurant to try & came across this place & was actually thoroughly impressed. I ordered the blackened salmon which was a pretty nice piece of fish & the sides were potatoes, large piece of broccoli & two baby pieces of corn. I Also had a order of the jerk Alfredo & that was pretty good as well. I will be returning again when I need a quick bite to eat."
"I have visited the other locations of Danny's Wok and this one is in a nice location, so I decided to check it out for the "famous wings". The wait wasn't long - the service was good and the wings are the same - pretty good - that Danny's Wok flavor!I would say that that you know what you are getting at Danny's Wok - wings are always consistent no matter the location. I can't speak to the other offerings-but maybe listen to your fellow yelpers and heed what they say!"
"Sitting back off Bethlehem Pike a block from the top of Chestnut Hill @ Germantown Avenue, Thai Kuu is a small attractive Asian dining room. Buddhas and elephants adorn the walls and menus giving a serene atmosphere that augurs well for the meal to come. This establishment offers weekend lunch at a reasonable price, and I was there to check it out. Many similar houses eliminate the midday meal discount on weekends, and I appreciated that this one kept it in play. I saw what I wanted and ordered Tom Ka Soup and Spicy Pad Kee Mao (aka Drunken Noodles). Service was provided by a gentleman I took to be an owner/manager. While efficient and cool, he also had an officiousness that was subtly off-putting. Maybe he objected to my black hoodie or my dining solo, but I wasn't going to allow his silent judgment interfere with my enjoyment. The food, on the other hand, could impact my take on the experience. At the end of my meal, that opinion was less than my first impressions. The Tom Ka was pretty good with strong coconut flavor, a hint of lemongrass and fair amount of string bean, carrot, mushroom and broccoli. I lifted the square bowl to my lips to suck it all in. I anticipated the Pad Kee Mao would be hot and spicy from a chili pepper base sauce, and from the word "spicy" in the name on the menu. Not the case. Instead, the word was used to label the sweetness of the middle width noodles and brown sauce, not its heat. An exceedingly small portion, its lack of traditional burn was disappointing; pointing to the conclusion that Thai Kuu was far more an Asian fusion kitchen than anything close to vibrant Siam fire. It was all okay, but could have been so much more had they the courage of their culinary convictions."
"Estia was a proximity and availability dinner decision. It was getting late and my team was exhausted so we were looking for something nearby. I open my Open Table app and filtered for 5 people, tonight, and a few options came up. My coworkers opted for Greek, so that is how we got to the decision of Estia. Our local colleagues mentioned it was a good pick. The restaurant looked upscale and dim lit. There were some couples at the corner tables making out when we were entering, so it's probably also a date night spot. They provided complimentary bread and my team shared a recommended Estia Chips ($20) and Spread Pikilia ($18) which comes with pita and 3 spreads in which we picked the Htipiti, Melitzanosalata, and Potato Skordalia. For our entrees, my team ordered the Moussaka ($26), Tuna Tartare ($21), Arugula Salata ($16) with added Grilled Chicken (+$7), and Lobster Linguini ($45). I had their Chilean Sea Bass Plaki ($50). The group seemed to really enjoy the food. I actually liked the appetizers more than I liked my entrée. I love sea bass and tend to order it when I see it on the menu but this sea bass was really acidic with the sauces and the portion size was small from being the most expensive thing ordered. The staff here is obsessed with clearing your plate, sometimes before you're even ready. When this lady was trying to grab one of the appetizers, my coworker said she was still working on it and the funny thing is that they took my coworkers individual plate away. Struggles. We were like, I guess you eat off the serving plate? And then when she was clearing my other coworkers plate, she threw their fork and knife into my plate. I wasn't done lady. Sigh. Fine, take it away. For a high end fine dining priced restaurant, I don't like feeling rushed with the food getting cleared before I'm done with it. This place has potential, but they have some things to work on."
"While in Philly / NJ I wanted to support as many soul food establishments as I could. While the offerings here weren't my style, I could tell that the business is a valuable asset in the area and the owner is working hard. As a single female traveler, I can say don't be intimidated or hesitate about the area. Just park on the main drag, plug the meter, and walk over. It's a busy part of Olney shared by a diverse range of Hoomans."
"I ordered a salmon cheesesteak and it was DELICIOUS!! Full of flavor with a great balance of seasoning. The special sauce was jus that special. Not over powering and complimented the sandwich perfectly."

I haven't had the food here yet so a review update might be in order as time goes on, but what a great neighborhood spot for a glass of wine at the bar. There's a big community feel here and I am a big fan of the wine list. I posted up at the bar solo to write and unwind (#maincharacterenergy moment) and had a great hour people watching and sipping a really lovely glass of tempranillo. There are twinkle lights to greet you upon arrival outside and a large FARE sign. The interior is pretty basic but cozy, and representative of their menu and vibe. Like many spots in the neighborhood, they have a great happy hour and it looks like they do a mean brunch as well.Excited to be back time and time again and appreciate the reasonable prices and great menu. Cheers!

I just moved to this area. Found this place on Yelp. Great food. Very flavorful, and made a a feasible time and price. The staff is very friendly and they make a quick expletive. The food tastes full of flavor and very well cooked. I will definitely order from here again.

Probably the best Chinese take out in Delco. Taste and quality is always consistent. They're also pretty fast when doing takeout. Never had a problem. Will definitely order again.

The wings are thee best ! Period ! And they do cater trays , great for any event , reasonably priced
Visit Restaurant Page"It's my favorite place to order from. The food is always fresh and tasty. I love the mint limeade. Very refreshing. The shrimp po'boy is good. So is the veggie fried rice. I enjoy the wings as well. I would say my least favorite is the Cajun pasta with chicken. I highly recommend them."
"Long over due review!Top notch from first knock to finish! Always love the concept of secret places lol... but knocking to be let in is fun. Make sure to try and make reservations because a few people were turned away while we were waiting! The whole place is a vibe in itself. Loved the decor... the bookshelf.. and the bar area. We were seated at the bar. Always nice making conversation with the bar tender and asking for their opinion on what to get. Lots of great cocktails. The food is pretty good! Started with the bone marrow... only wish there was more! I went with the Beef Wellington, probably a tad under seasoned but still good.. and it was A LOT! Husband went with the lamb, which he said was just ok seasoned. He was a little bummed but the sides that came at least made up for it! Dessert was the apple pie which was HUGE!I'd definitely come back!Come for the experience, service, food and drinks! You won't regret coming!"
"2nd time at this location! Steamed shrimp & mussels with corn, potatoes & broccoli! The shrimp was not fresh a little mushy! Large order so they should been fresh. Also ordered wings bbq they were good. Order well over 50.00 so expect better product on a Saturday night‼"
"Seafood was very fresh Service was fairly decentI wish the boil had a bit more spice to it, It was not spicy at all for medium spice"
"Wings get them four stars! My fave are the mango habanero wings. Delish. Also like the regular and garlic Parmesan. I order just for the wings."
"This post is long overdue. I love this place! Let's first take note that last year one of my favorite seafood places in Germantown got shut down for their health code violations which just shocked me after I read it. I couldn't believe I ate there. So I of course checked the health code for soulfed and there were ZERO violations. I came by myself, one Sunday after church. The music was playing and there were a ton of young servers but were eager to help. Since I was alone, I sat at the bar in the back and ordered my food. My favorite is the tang special: fried fish & shrimp with over fries and crab meat with a special sauce. They have specialty drinks but there's no prices on the drink menu so FYI they may fluctuate.Anyway, my servers name was "moo", a young kid but pretty cool. He was professional and worked fast. The main reason I'm writing this is to annotate how calm and professional he was with a nasty customer. Her and her boyfriend (50 year olds at least) came to the bar. The female walked up with an attitude and just started "barking" orders at him and when he made the drink she ASKED FOR, she got even ruder calling it nasty amongst other things. I just kept looking at her like wow. And "moo" kept his cool the whole time until she left. I gave him credit, he didn't let her piss him off or change his professionalism."
"If you're reading this review go here now! Okay, now that I've got your attention let me tell you about one of the BEST dining experiences I've had in Delco. As a Delco native and current Philly resident I can say for sure that delicious dining is few and far between in the Interboro/Ridley area but this place takes the absolute cake. We came here last night to celebrate birthdays and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I mean some of the most complex, delicious, fresh, perfectly cooked, absolutely beautiful flavors I've had in a while. Ordered by my party: Myself - Oysters (so fresh and delicious) & octopus salad special with artichokes, capers, and black olives (see picture) that was huge and charred to absolute perfection - so tenderOthers (all had rave reviews and were HUGE portions) - Chicken parm - I was told the sauce was divine and it definitely needed a box for leftoversSpecial steak and shrimp asian-style pasta dish - I forget the name but the "appetizer" size was ordered and basically came with a whole filet of steak (perfectly cooked btw) and needed a box for leftoversPork belly special with pumpkin ravioli, apples, veggies, and cranberries (my husband now requests that I learn how to make these raviolis as he described they melted in his mouth) Soups - lobster bisque, clam chowder, & mushroom soup (apparently I need to learn to make this, too haha)Dessert - tiramisu & creme brulee cheesecake. The tiramisu was absolute perfection (I stole a bite) and not overly sweet. Creamy and divineI wish I had more characters to write about how absolutely amazing everything was. There wasn't a single dish served that was anything less than stellar. It's BYOB and the prices may seem high but don't be fooled, the portions are so so so big that you'll absolutely have leftovers and the flavors and ingredients make every penny worth spending. I was so pleasantly surprised, deeming myself a bit of a food snob, that I may actually go visit my family more often just as an excuse to come here. Final note: If you have any food allergies/aversions I would suggest asking for the ingredients. While pleasantly surprised and absolutely delighted for the complex flavors/ingredients there were some that ended up on plates that weren't listed on the menu (cranberries & capers for example). I'll be back!"
"We got 20 chicken wings (takeout): half were 24 karat gold & half were garlic parmesan. The wings were so-so. The sauce tasted fine, but the wings themselves were overcooked. Another problem: The wings were supposed to come with celery sticks & dressing, but we didn't get any with our wings. We didn't notice until we opened it up at home. Very disappointing."
"There is no longer a happy hour here. In fact, if you ask about the happy hour, they will look at you very strangely. Its like the staff won't admit it ever existed. It's not a big deal. I just thought you should know. Food-wise, the oxtail ragu is pretty good but very salty. The oysters, although tasty, are expensive compared to other places you can go in a 2 block radius."
"I don't want to see a single negative review on this place. My family and I have been ordering delivery for 20+ years. No joke. Consistently prompt, hot, and accurate. A side note is that I've lived all over this country and this is some of the BEST Chinese food I've ever had!"
"Exciting addition to the neighborhood. We hosted during the soft open, so no bar yet. It's of to visit an izakaya without liquor, but our meal was still great. Complimentary miso soup set a flavorful tone for the meal. It was great and warming on a blustery day. The Kara age chicken was so juicy and flavorful. It came with "yum yum" sauce but I liked it on its own. The fried rice, made with duck fat, was really rich. We opted for the sous vide egg addition but it probably wasn't necessary. The rice itself was rich and delicious. My SO loved the potatoes. The rolls were good too. The roasted vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The futomaki roll was also good with a briny taste (from the seaweed?) that I liked. SO loved the cucumber avocado roll as well. I look forward to returning and enjoying the bar too. I love izakaya-style dining and am so glad this place is nearby!"
"I've been to Teca in West Chester a million times but this was my first time in Newtown - it is HUGE!!! I appreciated that it was staffed really well. Service was excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the menu is so much smaller than WC! I wish I could give 4.75 because our server got the kitchen to make what my mom usually gets even though it was not on this menu. I just thought it was weird to have a bigger restaurant but smaller menu.My dish was great but my favorite taste of the night was the oil that came with the table breadI am VERY turned off by the manager comments though...what is that"
"There's a lot I like here. I think they did a fantastic job with the look of the place. Everyone I encountered on the staff were wonderful and attentive. I was mildly surprised that they weren't overly busy on Father's Day at 6 p.m. but they weren't dead either. It seemed like the perfect night to try them. My wife and I split the Stromboli Egg Rolls. They had a nice and crispy exterior with lots of meat filling. Definitely has a little more of an oily taste to it which isn't necessarily a bad thing but some might think they're a little on the greasy side. But it's not a cheap kind of oily if you know what I mean. The flavor of the peppered ham comes through in some bites more than others. That red pepper gravy is phenomenal though. I would take some to go if I could just to have at home. Maybe a little less oil and a little more spicy ham and this is a total winner. But we both liked it. She ordered a pepperoni pizza which I also tasted. The cup style pepperoni is a good touch. She loved the crust to it, which had a nice crisp and sweetness to it. I wasn't getting much sauce flavor in the initial taste. Pepperoni can overwhelm that to be fair. But toward the end of the slice I caught a good taste and loved the kick it had. It wasn't an overwhelmingly great pizza, but it was a good enough restaurant style pizza. I like it when the sauce is bold throughout but that's a personal preference. I went with Chicken Parmesan. For $27, I had high expectations. I'd say the majority of them were met. The portion is huge, first plus. The Sunday Gravy is fantastic. I tasted it separately and really enjoyed the depth of flavor, second plus. The chicken was juicy and tender, third plus.I'd say the breading on it was good and crispy, but it was slightly overdone in spots. I bring that up because at times the flavor of the breading in a bite would counter the sauce flavor to the point where it wouldn't come through. It's a shame because the sauce on its own is that good. It's a very subtle thing. The cheese comes out firm and not gooey, which some may like or not like based on texture preferences (I did for the record). My boy gave the thumbs up on his chicken fingers and fries. He's easy. I did take home some of their creme brûlée. It's gone now. Ain't nothing wrong with it at all. The dessert menu looks like a winner. I'm going to say that this place has a ton of potential. I'm rooting for them in a big way to succeed. And this was a good meal in a lot of ways. But I can see the opportunities to improve too. Thankfully they're minor in my mind."
"A recommendation from a sweet lady at the Keswick Theater. We got seated immediately. Our sever was attentive. ()We ordered Beet salad, lemon chicken soup, and dolma. If I had my ukelele I would definitely strum a Love Song about The Beet salad being so amazing. Very special very flavorful fresh and delicious. The dolma was served hot. It was so very delightful. Perfect shape. Delicious taste! The chicken soup had perfect amount of lemon. I've never had this before and I was so happy to try it. I loved it.Delightful Greek decor . The tiles are quite charming. The owner came by and let us know that his wife makes the desserts . Of course. I'm so delighted to try some thing she created specifically. We ordered baklava."
"great place to get weekend dim sum in philly without having to go to chinatown the dining area is huge so there's always a table available and they don't try to rush you out either. they're quick to refill waters and the push cart ladies are always walking around so you can get your favorite dish. we also went one time close to 2 pm and they still had the push carts out (albeit w less options)! if you get one thing here make sure to get the pineapple buns (bo lo bao). my family are pineapple bun lovers and these are definitely some of the best we've had. the bread is perfectly soft, the topping is crumbly the way it should be, and they're FILLED with custard. always love coming here for dim sum!"
"XIX! Booked a resy for Sunday brunch to celebrate my mom's birthday, and it was amazing! While the food was delicious and the view was chefs kiss, it was really the service that made our meal so special. From our reservation confirmation call to the happy birthday mini cupcakes, our host Chris was so thoughtful. We took his recommendations and ordered the eggs benedict, strawberry cheesecake french toast along with the egg breakfast. We ateeeee. Lol We also ordered the mimosa carafe, which easily had 6 servings. Extra points for Chris giving us the drop on the best spots for lighting so we could take pictures. There were so many good photo ops we couldn't choose just one. Noting: Our reservation was for noon, and the place was superrr chill."
"Been going to this restaurant for years and their food is really good. The portions are a nice size and the service is always really good. The prices are fair esp because it is a BYOB. A South Philly gem I highly recommend Scannicchio's if you want great Italian food in South Philly. Place is small and kind of loud so not a great place to go to have serious convos though."
"The cheetah carpet seems tongue-in-cheek when taken with the upscale piano bar atmosphere, excellent pianist, and sophisticated drinks. I had reservations elsewhere and only popped in for a drink but I think I'll be back for the food before long."
"Okay, I went 1:30PM and got 3 pieces Whiting fish and 3 fried chicken Wings w/ two sides macaroni and cheese, potatoe salad and cornbread. It must have been good because I went back at 7:45PM and got the Whiting Fish and Catfish with sweet potatoes, greens and cornbread.Yes, if I went out and bought this and brought it home and you ate it you would not think this was not a black man, he is Chinese."
"My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our experience at Ocho Rios Resturant in East Passyunk! We stopped in here for lunch today and were happy we did because it was fantastic! Authentic Jamaican food and that truly exceeded my expectations! I am not one to have Jamaican food too too often but after dining here I will certainly be back and I can't wait to try more! My boyfriend ordered the chicken soup which was extremely tasty. It had a tiny kick to it which was perfect. The carrots were sliced so thinly and the broth / chicken had great flavor. I ordered the garlic shrimp. Our waiter told me it was his favorite thing on the menu and he wasn't wrong! I cleaned the plate! The garlicky sauce was so so tasty and the rice / beans paired perfectly with it! Also you get two sides and lots of options with a main course. I chose the rice / beans and the Mac and cheese. Whatever you do get the Mac and cheese! So so good. Like wow, truly worth its own wow. Please go try it! Upon entering we were greeted by the most friendly and kind employee who is the nephew of the owner! He was so helpful with explaining the menu to us and accommodating throughout the meal. We even had the opportunity to meet the owner and she was so appreciative of us coming in. The vibes in this resturant are excellent, extremely vibey with awesome artwork on the walls. They have outdoor seating now that it's getting warmer out which is an great perk as well. Overall we loved our experience and would highly recommend this resturant to anyone! My boyfriend and I will definitely be back and this resturant will be added to our date night rotation!"
"Chickie's and Pete's in South Philly is a winner! The service is top-notch, and there's plenty of space for your whole crew. It's the go-to spot for pregame or postgame vibes in the area. The seafood is delicious, and let's talk about those crinkle-cut fries - perfectly crispy every time. Shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious with a slight touch of heat from the jalapeños. This place nails it for a good time and tasty eats. Definitely, a must-try!"
"While visiting the City of Brotherly Love we asked our Uber driver where the best cheesesteak is located. She told us we had to go here. All the locals say to stay away from the two famous ones (G &P) as they are not good just tourist traps! Duly noted so we went here! This is our second experience as our first was at a place in Old Town. This place stuffs the hoagie full of freshly cooked piping hot delicious meat! This was much better than the other one we had tried and cost was better too! Down side is there is extremely limited seating inside. Two counters that have four barstools at each counter but you would be really squished and eating with your elbows touching if you sat four people there. We took one whole counter for just the two of us and it was a good amount of space we didn't feel squished at all. Over all I definitely recommend this place and I can confidently say, you won't be disappointed!"
"Looks can definitely be deceiving and that is definitely the case with the exterior of WooJung. This sushi restaurant is in an old shopping plaza with limited parking however when you walk in you feel like you're being transported to Japan. I arrived for a late night weekday dinner on a rainy evening and there was only one other party seated at a table. My friend and I were immediately greeted handed menus and offered cold water. It is a fairly large space with many tables and beautiful art on the walls. The food was very fresh and beautifully presented. I had the shrimp tempura appetizer $11.95 that was perfectly fried and served with a few tempura vegetables. It was a difficulty decision selecting a roll, everything sounded so good and pretty interesting. With assistance from our waitress I decided to order a jalapeno business roll $19 (love the name!). It was very filling and contained very fresh fish. I wanted to order a Japanese beer but learned the restaurant is BYOB. There is a bar next door selling beer and spirits but I decided to just enjoy my meal with water. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely return."
