On a Sunday afternoon , I went to lunch with my family here. The pictures don't do this place justice it's really pretty in the main dining room, but it's also warm welcoming giving a very inviting ambiance. We were greeted and seated immediately, the service was very engaging and warm, & the service was prompt. The menu had a lot of variety which I enjoyed, we ordered a salad and the Bada Bing Shrimp. I enjoyed both very much, the shrimp does have a lot of sauce which I enjoyed but I only mention it because one person in our group found it intense. Since we were just getting lunch I chose the Grilled Chicken BLAT. I found it delicious and the Cole Slaw was yummy too !! The dessert tray called my name and I answered lol!! I chose the chocolate, chocolate cake ... yummmmmyyyyy! I thoroughly enjoyed it here and cannot wait to return !

The food is always very good and when we last visited the restaurant was extremely busy but that did not effect the service one little bit. Our waiter, Phil, was very attentive and we never felt rushed. Two of us in the group had crab and lobster bisque, that was very flavorful and very enjoyable. One had Pasta E Fagioli which was very goodFor our main dinner Pasta Carbonara and Chicken francese both very large portions and very seasoned. Finished with peanut butter pie and dark chocolate cake. The two that ate eat enjoyed it very much and said that it was very good. Also liked that we were able to take our grandson with us and it wasn't an issue.

Stopped in for Christmas gift certificates and to go dinner. The ambiance is good the service is good and the food is good to but they got so cheap with their lettuce in my mediterranean salad there were maybe 14 tiny pieces if lettuce, " come on people", ya can't have a salad with minimal salad. Very disappointed.

Here we are, a week before the holiday and we find ourselves in PA visiting family who can't be with us next week. We had a big turkey dinner the night before and had zero energy to face making anything in the kitchen. We decided to get some Italian food as we know that no matter how well intentioned, you can truly only get a great gravy the closer you are in proximity to NJ.When we used to live near this area, we frequented Scoogis and wanted to see if they still were da bomb. In case I am taking too long to let you know...oh boy they still got it.Our server was Lyndsey and she was a gem. She was quick with the comeback to us playing. God I miss the Yankee sense of humor sometimes! Lyndsey was quick with our drinks, quick to take our order...and here is the key...she times each course perfectly. At no time did we feel rushed.The table started with soup and salad. The chicken noodle was comforting on this cold night. The crab bisque was creamy and delish and omg the wedge salad was a work of art.We pretty much all decided on the Bolognese for our main dish and we're so not disappointed. I personally can't wait for my next lunch or dinner as I brought home leftovers.The prices are truly reasonable and there is plenty of parking in the rear. It's a well lit building so you won't miss it but I highly recommend if you are in the area and feel like amazing Italian food...head to Scoogis. The only reason they lose a star is it was an oven inside and the chairs were tortuous. Other than that...dining perfection!

I never write yelp review - butWhatever reviews are before they revamped the place should be ignored. I've lived here for 15 years- it wasn't great but it was ok when we used to come here - I just ordered take out and wakes in and not only did it look amazing inside but the food is amazing - the badda whatever shrimp appetizer - delish- and any ravioli they offer - melts in your mouth.I recommend ordering via phone and you can ask what their specials are- they are always amazeballs

Great neighborhood find by my daughter. Family owned & operated. Nice variety of entrees- with daily specials. Good variety of adult drinks, apps & desserts! Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly. Nice bar area for game options. A new favorite for us !

June 2024. 1st time for me. Went for lunch with a business colleague. We both had the Mediterranean salad which was very good. Service very good. Only issue was it was very loud. We were in the back room with several large parties who were quite loud but even the front room was pretty loud. It may be just that day was very busy & loud??? Otherwise all aspects were very good.
