"I visited on a Tuesday afternoon with a colleague. We came right before lunch hour ended, apparently the restaurant closes from 2:30-3:30. We walked in at 2:15 and we were greeted immediately. We were seated and proceeded to order vegetable samosas, garlic naan, shrimp tikki masala and lamb saag. All of the food came out quickly and piping hot. There were absolutely no complaints from our table about taste, all the spices of the dishes were on point! We're here in Philly for work, but will probably visit this restaurant again to try other things on the menu. The menu is very extensive. The ambiance is quaint and cozy. Also, we were given complimentary honey buns that were delicious. Try them you won't be disappointed."
"Came here with my partner for a lil taco celebration this weekend. I come for the margs and tacos but I stay because I love the vibez. Who doesn't love tacos, nachos, margaritas ?!Well besides my partner who doesn't drink during Ramadan so it was spirit-free for him. He tried the tropical avocado Fresca and the prickly pear lemonade. Yumm!!I'm normally a Cadillac Margarita girl as long as it's 100% blue agave and no box mix I'm good to go. I was a sucker for the Aztec Old Fashioned though and it was a great choice.Tuna tacos to die for. Overflowing with tuna. All the other tacos I tried I loved and pour me some of that hot salsa please.Staff was great and friendly. Happy to be there!"

It did NOT pass the price or eye test but son of a gun I liked it. The roll looked bready but collapsed nicely around the meat. I would have liked more meat but it had a lot of meat flavor. The cheese, onions and mushrooms all kind of got lost but weren't really missed. I would have liked to save whatever the mushrooms cost."
"I am a BIG Tela's fan! It's a great spot in Fairmount for coworking, quick lunches, dates, and an occasional drink. So much to love here: the food, the atmosphere and vibes, bright sunlight, open windows in the summer, and space to spread out.I have enjoyed the yogurt parfait and greek bowl with chicken. They also have really nice egg-based breakfast and brunch options. There is typically a sign in front that denotes whether or not there is service or if you're supposed to order at the bar and sit. There is occasionally bugs flying around and I sometimes wish the market selection was a bit bigger (I think it used to be?) but ultimately it wouldn't be that convenient of a location for me to bop by for specialty items anyways. Pop in for a unique hostess gift, thought! Bottle of wine, etc. Also coffee!Always look forward to my next Tela's trip and appreciate this gem of a spot for existing."
"I really like the food at Cava. It's a rare place where you can get a truly tasty, balanced, "healthy," meal quickly and affordably.I placed a mobile order at this location for three bowls. They were all ready right on time. I could park in the dedicated portion of the parking lot right outside. The employees got me my food right away with no hassle. It was an all around positive experience."
"Needing a break from the typical campus eats, I suggested a business lunch at Pattaya. I really enjoyed the ambiance, proximity to Penn's campus, and the varied menu items at Pattaya. I was a little bummed that there were no lunch specials, and I was super sad that the only beverages they offered were canned or bottled - I was seeking a fresh Thai iced tea! However, the Panang Curry was to die for - I had no issue slurping the entirety of my meal. My colleagues ordered different noodle dishes, and the portions were huge! We shared an order of the Golden Triangles, which were okay - unremarkable, but tofu often is (sorry!!) We were all very happy with our main entrees, and I was the only one who didn't have an entire meal's worth of leftovers...a good value! Service was friendly and quick making for a nice dine-in experience."
"While Christmas shopping I was looking for a place that was quick, a good selection and some seating to recharge and eat! This cafe fits the bill, perfectly. Order at the kiosk and grab a seat in one of the tables. Ordered Spicy Philly Panini which lived up to the billing. Quite a bite of heat with this sandwich of spicy chicken, bacon, avocado and cheese. A big meal for $11. The chicken shawarma wrap is fresh and flavorful. Great cappuccino and cafe Americano. For a quick bite that is quality, you are here!"
"Lovash is one of our go to's for Indian takeout/delivery. As someone who loves Indian but has a dairy allergy, I love that I can get vegan saag here and the tofu vegan saag tastes just like saag paneer to me...winning! The husband really likes their chicken tikka masala or lamb vindaloo. It's quick, inexpensive and high quality, plus portions are most definitely sufficient. Recommended, especially for those with dietary restrictions."
"a 14 dollar Pastrami sandwich that has absolutely fabulous small choppy pieces and neither long thin strips nor thick cut slabs..enough for me to save half. A bit of grease dripping down the marble rye bread (which I agree did not hold up well at all, it was so odd, just dissolved away)You can add all kinds of stuff to it for almost nothing from sauerkraut, coleslaw, to making it a full Rueben or Rachel which is a Rueben plus swiss... I keep it simple with spicy brown mustard & some kraut.Solid sandwich, not one complaint and so much more enjoyable when it's not 32 bucks. As good if not better than any here at home.We waited a very short time & grabbed one seat, then another became available a short time later. Positive experience all around. Looking forward to a repeat sometime soon."
"You would pass it if I didn't tell you about it. Right next to the McDonald's on Lancaster, this new space is BYOB but they have horchata... don't sleep! This is a family business and the food is fresh with a ton of flavor. Hearty portions and great churros! The reviews are right, this is the spot. Go and go again. Pleasant friendly service with a smile in a clean open space you can see the kitchen."
"unbelievably clean facility, phenomenal food - the man was literally singing and tossing dough 10/10 experience happy ppl happy food"
"We got 20 chicken wings (takeout): half were 24 karat gold & half were garlic parmesan. The wings were so-so. The sauce tasted fine, but the wings themselves were overcooked. Another problem: The wings were supposed to come with celery sticks & dressing, but we didn't get any with our wings. We didn't notice until we opened it up at home. Very disappointing."

Service 5 starsAmbiance amazingFood: Perfect in portion and in price. Amazing flavors too. Butter chicken was vibrant. Lamb Methi Korma was wonderful and had an appropriate "kick" of heat for "mild" spice level. Bread basket was great and is highly recommended if you're there with a group. Don't remember what our friends got but they know this place well from their previous location and doing takeout during Covid. Highly recommend.

I would give 6 stars if I could!!! Such a great addition to Havertown! The food is delicious, love the vibe and the service is amazing!!!The pineapple express wings were AMAZING! I saw some instagram stories saying to get them and our server Marissa (who was the sweetest by the way) sealed the deal by saying awesome they were- she was right!!! I am not a huge wing person and could have eaten 20 of them! The guac is so good and fresh; served with warm chips. My husband and I both got fajitas- shrimp and steak, soooo good! Also the cucumber marg was great, strong (not mad about that) and delicious!Adding this in because my husband is a huge sports guy- the Phillies ended and within minutes they put on March Madness games- no awkward gap where you're watching infomercials for hours (it is his pet peeve haha). So happy that Al Pastor is in town! Can't wait to return!

First time here I was led to them because of the poutin fries. I was cheerfully welcomed and the staff was super nice and helpful. I ended up ordering the cheesesteak fries and they did not disappoint. I also got the red velvet cake slice and that was sooooo yummy it hit the spot. I'll be back to try more of their vast menu.

Back to Tela's for a Friday evening dinner. Grabbed a seat inside immediately, along their storefront window -- very nice. Overall, the food was great. My Moscow Mule was a little light -- great ginger flavor, but wasn't strong on the alcohol; lots of ice. Staff was okay -- unobtrusive, which was nice. Fried Calamari - Very tasty. Good crunch, good sauce, each piece very tender. However, you can see how many little pieces we get for $12 -- about 12. This appetizer is likely meant for one. The sauce was similar to a tomato soup. Tela's Cheeseburger with Avocado - Following the calamari, the size of the burger surprised me. Huge, cooked to perfection (medium) and layered in tomato and avocado, this burger is one for the books. At $18 total, still on the pricier side, but this one actually delivers. Enjoyed the fries as well -- crispy exterior and soft inside. Value: 3/5Quality: 5/5Quantity: 3/5Service: 3/5Atmosphere: 5/5

I use to go to this restaurant a bit when I was in college. I am glad that they moved into a new spot without loosing their awesome quality and service. We went for University City Dining Days. Can't beat a $20 dollar, 3 course meal. The new place is so gorgeous. They have a lot of seating. I really liked the wall art (see attached). It literally spanned the whole wall. It was also nice that they have a small window so I can see orders come out and all the behind the scene action. The service was very quick. We ordered lemon grass as our soup and papaya salad as our other app. The lemon grass is a must order (it had the best broth ever). We felt like the mushrooms didn't really hold only the flavor of the broth compared to the chicken. The papaya salad was also good. Usually it is more fishy with the fish sauce but this didn't have that pronounced taste. The next dish was the pad thai which was really delicious. It was so big and had a great presentation with its flower shaped carrots. I could even tell the dish had quality. They even didn't skimp on the quality on the bean sprouts. I really liked how we could choose from chicken, pork, or beef for this dish and the red curry. We ended up getting beef for the red curry. It was different with beef compared to chicken but I feel like it still tasted really good. I really enjoyed the coconut base. The desserts consisted of coconut pudding and coconut ice cream. The ice cream was pretty good (I wish we would have had more than one scoop). The coconut was very flavorful. We also had a coconut pudding which was oddly placed in two small bowls. It was also weird that the coconut pudding was hot (we weren't expecting that).

One of the best matcha lattes I've had in the city! The bulgogi wrap was also amazing. There was a little bit of a wait, but I didn't mind because the food was great. Can't wait to come back!

Great delicious food at very reasonable prices. Has decent seating ambience for about 30 inside and a couple of people outside. Service very quick and has live kitchen counter for those who are interested to see how Indian food is cooked. Great joint if you are passing by south street.
Visit Restaurant Page"Terrific place for the money and location! If you find yourself in the area and crave a good ol' fashioned cheesesteak, then Philly Cheesesteaks will hit the spot.Very friendly service. The person working the counter said she was the owner's daughter. She told us about how she had gone on a cross country road trip, trying to hit as many states as possible. They have license tags from various states hanging up. It was a cool environment and super welcoming. My sister and brother in law were visiting from Kentucky, and she just made them feel right at home! The onion rings might be the best onion rings I've ever had. I'd go out of my way to get those onion rings again. Outstanding."
"The curb appeal makes it look like a cozy neighborhood sandwich shop. It has an adorable antique tchotchkes shelf to browse while you're waiting. My main issue is the price. I believe $16 for a hoagie is pretty outrageous for a neighborhood joint. But it definitely caters to the above average hoagie palate. You'll find unique choices. I didn't like that even with the $16 hoagie, no drink or side was included. It took a long time to prepare and I'm sure that's for the quality. I'm simply not impressed enough to come back and spend over $20 for a hoagie meal."
"In efforts to find a replacement for Angelo's, we found Santucci's through handy dandy Yelp! I drove up and assumed we could only order through phone for takeout. So we did. I got the marghertia pizza personal. I went to go inside and grab my food, and saw they were open! We asked if we could sit inside with our meal, but they rudely said no and that we had to order inside to be able to sit inside. Didn't know what difference it would've made considering it was empty. We ended up eating in the car. Onto the food- this is legit my favorite pizza! The crust was the perfect amount of crispness. The sauce was saucy. I prefer a little liquidity than tomato flavored. It was excellent. The proportions for bread, to sauce to cheese was on point. I came home with my leftovers and couldn't quite get the same level of crispy. Downgraded a star because of the rude staff."
"The food was a pretty good option for the holiday weekend. The baby back rib platter was good and filling. The ribs were tender, the Mac and cheese were flavorful, and the corn bread was tasty. I ordered to go and my food was about a 20 minute wait. They have dinning room, but it was very dim and dark inside, like a pub. Overall pretty good. It's not easy finding good bbq in Philly."
"Thin crust with a light sauce and just the right amount of cheese and toppings. Pie was sizzling hot when served. Cooled nicely and slices separated well. Loved the pizza and serving was more than needed for a meal but ate it all anyway. Harley tea drinks served!!! Definitely a plus. Seats were metal without cushioning. Tables were close together, neither of which effected the meal, but not a place to linger. Grab and go would work well."
"Haven Local sits within the Creek Side Market building next to Creek Side Restaurant & Deli. It appears to be Indian owned/operated by a friendly chef who was only to happy to make me any breakfast I wanted within his inventory of supplies. That turned out to be something like a sausage egg & cheese sandwich on a oversized brioche roll. It was fantastic, but so overloaded that he soon brought me a plate, real flatware and an extra roll to reconstruct the sammy if necessary (I brought it home). The knife and fork simplified the eating and kept my hands free of the original dripping mess that I tried to pick up and covered my fingers in runny egg and delicious sauce , but made this creation so distinctive. It was an excellent mess! Coffee was secured next door at the Creek Side Restaurant & Deli, which shared the large market building. Obviously, these smaller retailers rent from the market and brewery that round out the tenants. The scattered tables made for a very casual atmosphere, and invited people to hang out and enjoy themselves. I certainly did. Haven Local went out of its way to accommodate my short stay, and I appreciated the effort. Elkins Park has a very interesting commercial zone right here and I hope they are able to maintain and expand it."
"Since my first review I've been back a few times and I'm upping this to 5 stars. The sandwiches are just fantastic. Do call ahead, though, as they sometimes run out of rolls, which is a bummer."
"Comfortable, but slightly upscale and contemporary. It's small, so it's a little close. Recommend a reservation and be prepared, it's pretty noisy. The food was delicious! Chicken Picatta was tender and flavorful, not swimming in sauce, served over cappellini - which I loved! Not as thin as angel hair, but a little thinner than spaghettini.Dining companions had the salmon and ziti. All were pleased. The Caesar salad was delicious. The caprese was ok - hot house tomatoes were nothing to write home about. I normally love calamari, but these perfect rings were clearly from frozen, but I've had worse, and came with hot cherry peppers. Yikes! I ate a big pepper ring before I realized. The desserts were delightful, but I would've preferred at least some fresh berries served over the Panna Cotta. All in all a nice dinner spot."
"Extensive menu! Support small and local businesses!Got the plain pizza, enjoyed a couple of slices a day over a couple of days! Met my pizza craving!!! Had a turkey hoagie a couple of months ago from Robola as well and it was really good. They packed the hoagie with deli meat."
"Great place for lunch for burgers, sandwiches, and even fries. Big portions for good prices. Loved how they gave me the pork juice with my sandwich."
"It's official, I love The Juice Pod. I go there far too much and I'm never disappointed. The smoothies have so much more flavor to them than some other local spots I used to frequent. They actually taste like the ingredients that are listed. I've tried about 10-12 at this point and have enjoyed them all. The lunch items are also great. Wraps, paninis, and toasts are very large. My Greek wrap with chicken was outstanding today. Love the buffalo chicken wraps too. Not everything on the menu has a perfect match for my preferences ingredients-wise, but they are always willing to add or subtract things to make it the way you like it. The staff is really friendly. The owner is always happy to welcome you back, chit chat when things aren't too busy, and thank you for your business. I'm going to keep coming back as long as things remain this consistently great."
"The pho:Just great, generous amounts of meat and noodles. The bowl was chock-full. Delicious strong broth. Good sides--fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeno pepper and lime. A bowl the size of your head. I couldn't finish it of course, I never can. It was as good as Philadephia's "Little Saigon" pho.The Spring Rolls (summer rolls? salad rolls?) Rice paper lettuce wrap. Come in pork, shrimp and some other varieties. Peanut-Hoisin dipping sauce. Lots of lettuce, carrot and vermicelli and juicy-fresh. The meatballs weren't the best I'd ever had nor the tendon, which I like more overcooked and gelatinous (I got the #2 style Pho with tendon, brisket, flank and meatball) but it was quite good. The noodles were delicious. This was about the best pho I've had outside Philly, which seems to be the magic Emerald City Land and if you stray away from Washington Ave, you won't be getting any good pho around here. One time, someone tossed corned beef in the pho. Oh, no no no. Well, this pho escaped the galactic pho barrier and made it back to Earth. I didn't get to try Vietnamese coffee because it was after five pm and I don't drink coffee late, and I didn't check to see if they had bahn mi but I think they do. (a sort of French bread Vietnamese hoagie.) The decor is clean and pleasant casual. The staff are nice and friendly. Looks like I'll be back a lot."
"We caught the soft opening today. Staff are very welcoming. Bright and air location and decor.Had no trouble with modifying the items to meet our tastes. Everything is flavorful and fresh!!Vegan and non-vegan options cannot wait to try the other items on their menu. They are now on my list of restaurants that I will be visiting regularly!!"
"Had a great dinner with a small group of friends on a weeknight during Media Restaurant Week. The restaurant had a nice vibe, safe spacing, and the food was delicious! BYOB is also such a great thing. We all opted for the Restaurant Week deal: $25 for salad or meatballs, personal pizza, and a slice of cheesecake but we also were not shy with appetizers! The meatballs were good and also pretty large. Caesar salad was very decent and a good size. Also ordered the egg rolls which were tasty but I wish they had a different sauce. Truffle fries were also enjoyed. The pizzas we had were margarita, pepperoni, the nanny (I recommend!) and a vodka pie for the table. The personal pizzas were thinner than the normal sized pie but just as delicious. The Nanny was a unique pizza that's not a true white pie but the balsamic and tomatoes added nice acid. The vodka pie was also delicious!! It was a very doughy pie so I think I would have liked more sauce but the crispy prosciutto was great. The Restaurant Week deal really was the way to go. Great spot for a date, family meal, and pizza that's nicer than your average pizza shop. They do a lot of take out but it's just as nice sitting inside."
"I've been a fan of Delassandro's for decades. I try to make there every time I am in town. This trip my coworker said I really should try Mama's. So we went there for lunch and I have to say I may have a whole new number one!We got the half or small size which as you can see is huge!! Their bread is probably the best I've had!! The ONLY thing that is keeping me from rating the best is they have a proprietary cheese blend they use. I like a combo of cheese whiz and provolone so I missed that flavor. But make NO mistake this is one outstanding sandwich!!!"
"We got takeout from here last night for the first time and it was great. We got the falafel, chicken gyro, Greek salad and lemon potatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious. Felt like the prices were very reasonable for the food quality. We will definitely be ordering again!"
"The gentleman serving us -- a member of the family who owns Fellini -- was solicitous. While our meals were good, there are things I realized after the fact that bother me: -- Before ordering a Caesar salad, we asked if it's made with anchovies. The salad is listed at $9.50. We asked to split one order, which came to the table divided. I noticed, after my husband paid, that we were charged $13. An undisclosed $3.50 for anchovies that should have been included in the first place?! I think not. -- Chicken Rollatini -- This was T's favorite dish in our former neighborhood restaurant. As a point of comparison, Fellini's was okay, but it was over-sauced with a thin gravy. Plus, at $26.95 an overload of spaghetti didn't make up for one small roll of chicken. -- Chicken Francese -- Fellini's has a different spin than the lemon butter I'm used to. The menu claims asparagus and mozzarella. While I was eating, I thought 'this is good, but not as described.' And this is what happens when waiters don't write down orders. They gave me saltimboca. Fellini's is byob with no corkage fee. A sign outside offers a free glass of wine. Perhaps, because we didn't request the freebie, our host brought us amoretto on the house. A nice gesture.FYI, expect a 4% upcharge if you pay with a credit card."
"Nudy's is the best! They have a great amount of breakfast/brunch options. I really enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros. It was so filling and fresh. The huevos rancheros came with jalapeños, sour cream, hash browns, tomatoes, and carrots. Definitely like how they used hash browns instead of the typical tortilla chip! The Tuscan Omelet was very cheesy. I loved how I could substitute fruit for the fries; however, I wish they would give more of a quantity of fruit. Overall, the food was fairly priced and the service was great!"
"My favorite pizza place in Delco closed recently. So I've been searching for replacements. Right now, I have to say that New London is probably the closest to duplicating the taste that I enjoyed at my defunct favorite. I happen to like Greek style pizza a lot. I know not everyone does. But if you do, this pizza is a pretty tasty example of it. I had no issue downing most of a small pepperoni while leaving a couple slices for my 4 year old to demolish. Plus they delivered quick and friendly to Glenolden. No complaints at all. New London is officially in my Delco rotation."
"Stick to the steamed seafood dishes. I've eaten here before and the seafood was great. Yesterday I my wife and I stopped in for something to eat. She had fish, collard greens and Mac N cheese. I had pork ribs, steamed broccoli and corn on the cob. The fish was ok. The ribs were ok. Everything else was TERRIBLE. Feels like $40 gone. The corn was hard and damn near butter free. It did have a few specs of old bay seasoning. That should only be used for corn with seafood platters in my opinion. The broccoli was also hard. Like super hard. My ribs were cooked, but not real BBQ to them. They just poured a little bit of sauce in on some of them. I ate most of the food because I was really hungry. Definitely unsatisfied this go round. I may be done here. How was my wife's food? She walked around the house talking to God about how awful it was lol. Maybe she drop a review about her experience as well! I did here her say something like "baby food style Mac n cheese though."
"I'm so excited I found the Juice Pod! I have worked in Exton for over 7 years and have struggled to find somewhere with healthy, fast breakfast options nearby. There are a ton of smoothie and smoothie bowl options. I have tried 2 different green smoothies so far and they were both delicious! It's a little expensive, but to find a healthy, good quality smoothie to me is worth it! I tried a coffee last time I was there as well, and I didn't love it. I prefer light to medium roast flavorful coffee, and this was definitely a dark roast. It wasn't bad, just not for me. I did appreciate that they had oat milk and could make me a cafe au lait. They also have great sounding salads, paninis and some other lunch options. Definitely going to give those a try in the future! I think there location is a little hard to find, I found it because I was searching for nearby coffee on apple maps and it popped up. I hope the word gets spread about their location and I think they could benefit from marketing to nearby businesses."
"I've been here a few times to grab a quick lunch and have always been pleased with the food. The first time I went, I got the Applegate farm turkey sandwich (being that it was and still is the only whole wheat bread option). I enjoyed it so much that it's been my sandwich of choice ever since. I ask for my sandwich to be toasted, which they do so well. They load the sandwich with turkey, and I love the apricot honey mustard they spread on.During my most recent stop to meet a friend for lunch, I got a small cup of the red pepper and Gouda cheese soup in addition to my sandwich. It was truly fantastic. Rich and creamy, and so flavorful. I honestly regretted not having gotten a larger size! My only complaints about this place are the disorganization and prices. Since it is located inside of the Perelman Center of the Hospital of Penn, it is always packed with visitors, as well as Penn staff. They have five different locations to order coffee, salads, soups, pizza, and sandwiches, and a couple locations to pay. I feel like I spend an unnecessary amount of time walking around trying to figure out where to place my order and pay. It's disappointing to see how poorly organized it is!Although the food is great, prices seem a little steep for what you're really getting. During my most recent visit when I got a small soup and sandwich, no drink, my bill came out to roughly $18. Definitely a bit much for a sandwich shop that has a Panera kind of set up and you're not getting table service (which, by the way, consider yourself lucky if you can snag yourself a table since they are always so swamped). I will probably be going here again if those I am meeting choose this as our lunch spot, but I'd have to think twice before choosing it myself."
"Great little addition to the Villanova area! I've been there twice in the 6 days since they opened. My coworker/friend and I stopped in on one of our lunchtime walks to get some lunch. She had one of the smoothie bowls and something else that I don't recall, and I tried the chicken avocado toast and a smoothie. Everything was really good and made with good quality ingredients. We chatted a bit with the owner who seemed very noce and eager to do well in this location (they also have a place in Avalon). I stopped in again yesterday to introduce my daughter (VU '23) to the place. She got a smoothie bowl which she loved and I tried another smoothie. So far so good with Good ess Bowls. I know they will do well in VU!"
