Food was bomb was recommended by a family member and to see the other reviews is a bit shocking but im happy mine was on point

I won't be back. Me and my wife ordered the oxtails rice and peas. It was hot garbage . They only gave 3 oxtails.. and little bit of rice. Definitely won't be back.

I never had barbecued sauce basted Jamaican food at all. 1 out of 10 won't recommend. The rice tasted like it had sugar in it. Everything was just too sweet. I thought I ordered pepper steak but I don't know what they gave me. I swear they gave me barbecue basted in sweet baby rays hot honey. This is nothing I would write home to mom about at all. To each they own but get somebody else to eat it

I'd been hearing about this place for a while but was a bit skeptical. I am very particular about where I purchase Jamaican food because I know all too well, the authentic taste, AND I've been really disappointed before, BUT, not today!I bumped into the owner, Shane, who I met for the first time; he mentioned the restaurant and suggested that I check it out. Like I stated, I'd been hearing about this place for a while so I drove straight there after a busy day at work. I was famished!When I got there I was greeted by a pleasant staff, especially Carlos, who was patient with me while I took my time deciding what to get. I ordered, for myself, -curried goat, rice & peas (red beans & rice) and ripe plantains, and for my daughter,-oxtails with rice & peasThe wait time was fair, the presentation of the food (in the to go box) was really nice and the aroma was pretty damn inviting. I could hardly wait. Remember, I was famished!I opened the box as soon as I made it home, yes! I washed my hands. I took a bite and literally took about 10 more bites before I sat down. The rice had a good concentration of coconut milk and had just the right amount of spice (pepper), the goat meat was well seasoned, really tender and teased my appetite just enough for me to ravish for a bit before I realized I was eating over the kitchen counter. The portion was also really substantial and satisfied my hunger one hundred percent.My daughter was also very pleased. She is only 10 but like I said, we know how Jamaican food should taste. This was THAT! I gave five stars because the combination of the initial interaction with Shane, the customer service by Carlos, the presentation and authentic taste of the food were nothing short of amazing. I will definitely be back. If you like Jamaican/Caribbean food or if you haven't had the experience, I urge you to try S&S. Oh by the way, the staff all wore masks, so that was a plus for me too. ***This review is for Togo order***A family member went here and had a salmon salad and jerk chicken salad.I'm greedy so while they were eating is I asked to taste it.OMG it was delicious, so I knew I had to come here and get my own.First of all it's made fresh to order even down to the green peppers and tomatoes.The jerk chicken was great you can choose your dressing along with the jerk sauce. Next time I will call ahead lesson learned.I will definitely be back to order.

Horrible customer service time and time again. It doesn't matter if you are a loyal customer because this establishment doesn't care about its customers. Spend your money where they will appreciate you . These people only want your money they dint even like us for real.

I decided I wanted to stop and grab a few beef patties before a long trip and this place was on the way. I went to purchase 3 beef patties and 3 veggie juices. The lady behind the counter said there were no more beef, only chicken and veggie. I asked for 3 chicken. Upon running me up, she announced a 22.00 balance. She explained the juices were 5.00 each. I was surprised because I typically don't pay anymore than 3.00 depending on where I go. I returned the juices and she made a smart remark about me being inaccurate about how much I typically pay for the juices. Which I let her know, I had no reason to lie. Whatever- although the comment wasn't necessary, not the end of the world. I had the first patty and it was fine- a little dry and a little weak on the filling but once again, not the end of the world. The flavor was pretty good. Later on, I went to bite into the second one and it was literally BLACK on the inside (photo attached). Tasted a little funny so was immediately irritated. Nonetheless, I threw it out and went for the final one... it was veggie. In my first experience there I encountered overpriced juice, a ride rep, blacked out food and the wrong order. I will be calling but I live hours away. Won't be returning.I spoke with the owner or manager- it may have been the same lady that was at the front desk but I'm not sure. She was pleasant but I can't receive my money back electronically. For the 7 hour ride back, obviously not worth it. Won't be returning.

I am a loyal customer that been with them since they came to Darby since they came around I give them 10/10 I love they food they are best in Darby to me so

The customer service here is very lacking in the highest degree. I came here to get a satisfying mean but instead was given over cooked burnt chicken. When I called the establishment to tell them my issue they kept giving me the run around as if I was trying to scam them for a free meal or something.I brought back meal and they gave me hard time to get a replacement platter. Once I received it I went home to eat it and it was burnt on the under side and tasted unpleasant. Based on this experience I will no longer shop here or recommend this to anyone.

Great Food, Friendly Staff!! Always Fresh Food... A good bang for your buck. Best get there early if you want to get your food kinda fast Lol.
