Rosy's Taco Bar

This place is amazing. They are open late and even have a spot if you just want to pick up tacos after a long day of whatever! The service was quick even though we went really late at night. The Al pastor was to die for. I really liked how it was marinaded and tasted very juicy. The tacos had a kick to it. I wasn't expecting how the quesadillas just looked like a big burrito. I am unsure if this is the traditional way of making quesadillas but I wasn't that impressed by them.

This place is a must for happy hour. Their pollo tinga tacos are so good and the price of 3 tacos for $5 is unheard of nowadays. However, the happy hour margarita was kinda gross and this is coming from a person who loves margs. It was pure margarita mix and barely any alcohol. If they just took the time to make their margs instead of using premade mix this place would be a 5/5. I feel like a 3/5 is harsh but how can u not have a good marg at a taco bar!! I'll be coming back for those tacos for sure though. Some of the best i've had!

I was pleasantly surprised by the food that I had here, maybe because I mostly associate it with happy hours and loud music. When we walked in, there were no tables left, but we managed to squeeze into a table near the bar, which is first-come first-serve. I ordered the fish tacos, and the seasoning and crispiness of the fish were great. I was also full after the three. For our appetizer, we got a bean dish that tasted a bit underseasoned. Next time I'll check out the happy hour!

Stopped in on a rainy day for a quick bite and drink. The place had plenty of open seating and a large bar area. Good vibes from what I could see in the brief hour I was in. Service was good and food came quickly. I got tacos and an appetizer but the star of the show was the chips and guacamole!!!! They were delicious!! Chips are so obviously made in house and the guac was a heaping portion!!! Bathroom is in need of a revamp though... it doesn't fit the ambiance of the restaurant. The stalls have massive gaps and not all doors closed and locked.

Came here with a friend for lunch. We ordered guacamole and chips to start. The tacos came out less than 5 minutes after we started our appetizer. My friend got the mushroom tacos. I tried one and really liked it. I ordered the chicken tacos and thought they were okay. The chicken lacked flavor. They were playing EDM dance music in the background and they turned it up not long after we sat down. I thought the music selection was weird for a Monday lunch. I felt like I was in a club. The restaurant was clean and I like the decor. I would definitely consider coming back, but would suggest they play different music based on their customer audience. You're getting people on their lunch break on a Monday, so just make it more appropriate. Also, improve on the flavoring of your chicken. It was bland.I also thought the employee benefit fee on the receipt was weird. I hope that means you're paying your waitresses/waiters fairly and not just giving them $2.15 an hour.

such a fun place to grab some drinks and light food with your friends! the food is GREAT but the portions are a bit small so I would recommend either going for light fare or ordering more than you think you will need. If you go try to sit outside or in the front room!! it's especially fun on a day where the windows are open!They have a late night menu (see the pic of nachos) that we got delivered. Again, the food is great but the price is a bit difficult to justify.

Pretty good margaritas.Tajin is an awesome rim option instead of salt or sugar. Food options are good. Was a little disappointed with the size of a $14 avocado salad, however. It was a little on the smaller size.

Loved Rosy's Taco Bar for my first visit! I've been recommended this bar before and I always hear the name and I was glad to finally try it and experience it for myself! To start, the ambiance overall is one to appreciate. I got to experience dining inside at the bar to start, the music/playlist was great, beautiful decor and a truly engaging and knowledgeable bartender! I had to take a meeting call outside and felt as though the patio was even remarkable! There are these wooden private seating areas that I believe are fitting to dine solo or with a group. The tacos (pictured) and the Smoke House Margarita (pictured) I chose were great! Really juicy tacos and an even better drink to top it off! My visit was early afternoon and it let into Happy Hour which wasn't bad! I recommend giving Rosy's a shot! Enjoy! Cheers!

One of our favorite places in the city! It's a gem that I'm almost afraid to publicize because it's so much better than the more mainstream Mexican place in town. The burrito bowls are amazing-the carnitas are to die for! Tasty margaritas, delicious guac and several kinds of salsas are all crowd pleasers. I also love that they treat their workers well-the small employee benefit fee added to the bill made me feel good knowing that I can help make a difference for people working hard!

Came here with a couple friends late at night. Bartender was rude- rushed us on our order and acted ready to walk away as if we weren't ready as we were trying to order. I'm a server and was pretty shocked at this treatment, but the rest of the staff was great and so was the food.
