We enjoy a good Ramon spot. Nom nom is as good as you're going to find in this area. Excellent service, small but nicely decorated dining room. I will say the pork belly was excellent. We enjoyed the pork belly bao buns and the pork in the Ramon. The Ramon broth was delicious. Only way to improve would be if they offered homemade noodles. Nice ramen restaurant I will plan to return

Okay. I stopped by this place on a Sunday evening while on a business trip. My general rule of thumb is to not judge a restaurant based on Sunday or Mondays. That being said, this restaurant is the exception to the rule. I had the pork belly buns and the aka Ramen. The flavors in both of these were amazing. You should definitely give this place a shot. The broth in the Aka Ramen is simmered for 36 hours! Also, prices were very reasonable. The restaurant itself is on the smaller size but nicely appointed. The server was efficient and attentive. Can't say enough nice things about this place.

I had high hopes for Nom Nom Ramen, but my regular tonkatsu ramen fell a bit short. The broth lacked that deep dashi flavor I was expecting, leaving the overall dish a bit bland. To top it off, the egg was overcooked, which didn't help the situation. The chashu, however, was well-prepared and flavorful, standing out as the highlight of the bowl. Still, without a rich, flavorful broth, the overall experience just didn't hit the mark for me. Decent, but I left a bit disappointed.

Nom Nom ramen is a great spot if you just happen to randomly crave ramen. I ordered the aka nom nom ramen with pork and it tasted great. I would say it's nothing special, but again it does satisfy that ramen urge if you ever happen to get it and you're in the area. The broth was pretty rich, but a little watery. The noodles were good, a bit too al dente, but still good texture. The pork was very good lots of rich flavor. The interior was nice and had great lighting, but the tables were a bit small, we had a party of 4 and a booth felt a bit too tight. I would probably order take out only if I got Nom Nom Ramen again. The service was excellent and the server answered all our questions well and gave great recommendations.

Went early for dinner around 4:00, not busy! Service and food were great, ramen and pork buns especially. Didn't look like they had any alcohol. We're accommodating of our kids!

Some of the best ramen in philly - the broth is super duper flavourful. I got the tan tan ramen and they nailed it. As someone who avoids pork when they can, i really appreciate ramen places who do chicken chashu and do it well. I also added the aka bomb which just took it to another level. The place is also super intimate and great for solo dining as well as a date spot. My only complaint would be the price point, but you do get a huge bowl. It'd be awesome if they did a small and a regular option though.

I'm a fan of the Aka Nom Nom ramen here. It's a rich broth which nice fixings included and it's well balanced. I usually come here to dine in with my coworkers and we often don't have too much of an issue getting a table although if you're more than 4 people I'd suggest coming a little earlier since there's mostly 4 person tables and then some in the middle aisle of the restaurant. The service is relatively no frills, not very notable. Our wait time for food has varied greatly each time we are here, sometimes fast, sometimes 30+ minutes which made our lunch a bit more of a crunch than we'd prefer.

Was amazing for the shiyo broth with chicken that's the only broth without pork. Also asked for spicy and they gave me a paste on the side and was amazing.

Nom Nom is my go-to ramen place when I'm around the center city area. I raved about the Aka nom nom ramen to my family and they all ended up ordering the same thing! We loved the rich broth and the flavorful chashu. I wish their aka bomb (spicy seasoning topper) was a bit more spicy!! If I'm not mistaken, their aka bomb is milder now than it was years ago. Or maybe I'm just a spice fiend LOL.This is a relatively small place and when I went, there was only 1 waiter/host. So service is a *bit* slow when it is busy, but worth the wait!
