If you're a fan of speakeasy, you will HAVE to stop at Midnight & the Wicked. No food to be had, but the service was lovely and not too overbearing for a relaxed, Sunday night.AMAZING interior; built in an old bank, with huge vault doors, and rich wooden bars - art deco, live jazz music, and fantastic cocktails. It's pricy, but no more than most swanky cocktail bars out there, and definitely worth it. The drinks were smooth and delicious. And if you're lucky, there will be a piano man to play a tune while you enjoy your bevy (and if you tip real well, you could even get a request).

Very cool cocktail bar and late night club (I did not try the club). Very ornate and eclectic atmosphere with a very nice cocktail menu. I had the "Midnight Sprinter" made by the bartender Sky who was very nice as well. There is a legit stage with a baby grand piano. Piano player/singer was playing old jazz, stride-style piano and singing (think Fats Waller era music). He also played trumpet while playing the piano which was impressive. I saw the club opening up at 10:00 PM and well dressed people starting to come in to the DJ music so maybe another night to try that part.Cheers!

Amazing cocktails, ambiance, and service. This place is so cool. A speakeasy type of vibe, with delicious cocktails to match. They have live music, as well. There's also apparently a club portion of this place that we are dying to check out now!Kind of confusing when you first walk up, but just wait outside long enough and someone will let you in (the door is locked). Will be returning!

This is a beautiful place there is no doubt about that. It gives good vibes. It was clean and most of the staff were pleasant. My issues come in with the "food" options which are called small bites and small is too big of a word. It would be better for them not to offer food at all. It's center city so you expect the drinks to be higher and they were good but the alcohol content was low and for a $19 drink there should be more. They had one bartender working who was overworked. The waitress was late and we told we were working the bar tender overtime because we ordered food and wanted bottles. It's possible the worker was joking but it didn't seem like it. Overall nice for the aesthetic but not for much else if you want food and real drinks.

I ended up at this spot on a bit of a whim. I was in Philly for a conference and the photos of it just seemed really unique. It is a speakeasy format and you get into the bar through a couple of different, tucked away entrances. Half of it is a dance club, and half is a typical cocktail bar. They have an extensive selection of drinks, the service was good, and the ambiance was unique. It felt like I was stepping back in time. It was a nice change of pace from the typical pubs that populate the downtown area.

We came to check out the space for a quick cocktail before heading to dinner so it was around 4:30PM on a Saturday which was nice because we were able to grab a delicious drink and have some good conversations so I can't say anything about what happens at night since I know it becomes a club. If you arrive right when they open, you might have to wait a little for the host to set up or call them as there's no buzzer for the location. First, the decor!! They nailed it with creating a great gatsby, roaring 20's kinda vibe and each room was different which was super cool. Even the bathrooms had the decor going with gold knobs, and there are so many vault type doors. Our drinks were really refreshing and were sooo cute! My sister ordered just a regular coffee and they even nailed the presentation of that bringing the sugar & cream out in the cutest, tiny little glasses. I had the Champagne and the stars drink which was a strawberry infused aperol and Prosecco which was really good! My sister had the New Devil, that was also delicious and even though it had ginger, it was just a splash. The service was great, they were attentive and able to answer all the questions we had. We can't wait to visit again and potentially come dressed up to enjoy the vibes!

We went here last night with a group for drinks. There was a security guard at the front door letting us in and he stopped one person in our party who was in a shirt, pea coat, and dress pants. The security person said he needed a button down. We thought he was kidding, but he ended up letting him in luckily. The bar was trying too hard to seem fancier than it actually was. The bartenders were so slow and there were only 2 of them. The old fashioned also had too many bitters and they put in food coloring in it, which was bizarre. The bar was also pretty crowded and most people weren't in the dress code.

Came here with some friends to start our night. The bouncer/doorman checked everyone's attire, including my husband, and allowed us to enter. When we went downstairs, it wasn't too crowded for 10 pm on a Friday night. The live band was a really nice touch but it ended around 10:30 /11:00 pm. The drinks were good but not necessarily worth the cost, you're paying for ambiance, I guess. I've been here when it was Rumor so the decor was changed to be more elegant but ultimately nothing was really different. It feels like they are trying harder than they need to. We didn't stay too long as the DJ wasn't really playing music we liked and we were throughly turned off by a "security guard" or bouncer downstairs that tried to tell my husband twice that he was not appropriately dressed. We thought that was so odd when the person at the door clearly checked everyone attire to let us in and the people next to us were literally in quarter zip up hoodies. The group decided we would probably not come to Midnight and Wicked again.

This place was way bigger than we expected. A little bit of an odd entrance coming off the street the door is locked and they have a doorman who has to come let you in. Look for the sign on the brick wall.We were seated, and the server came over promptly. They have three separate menus, a seasonal a signature, and an experimental. We ordered the Phoenix down which was very flavorful and had a lovely presentation. We also got the Charred charnis which was way fruitier than we were expecting. Not bad, but not what we thought it would taste like based off of the menu description. The pineapple was overpowering. They also had live music while we were there.
