Fabulous ramen AND sushi at a shockingly reasonable priceThis place is a favorite of my spouse's & mine. I would have never thought a place that did both ramen and sushi in the Italian Market of all places would be even remotely good, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The sushi quality is outstanding, putting to shame even some of the dedicated sushi joints scattered through the city. And the ramen is positively delightful, rich and deep in flavor to the last drop. To top it off, every time we settle up we end up pleasantly shocked at the reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more.Don't be an ignorant buffoon like me, dismissing this place outright because of its location, or scoffing at the sushi not *possibly* being good if they're not a dedicated sushi shop. You'll miss out on some truly outstanding food. Love this place!

Only ever done takeout here and I wish I was ordering more from here! Rolls have a nice flavor and the menu offers something for everyone if you're not interested in sushi. The pork gyozas were especially good, maybe the best I've had from a standard Japanese spot for takeout. Cash only if you dine in or order on the phone which is a bummer but online ordering through their site takes card. Definitely a little gem in the neighborhood.

This has been my go to place for some quick, cheap 3 roll special lunches! The rolls are sizable and taste fresh. I feel like some places skimp on lunch rolls but not them!I've also been in person and find the inside pleasant. I order online usually and schedule a pick up, and they're always on time, if not early. I usually walk my dog over here to pick up the food and just peep in the door, and they hand it to me so I don't have to go in with the dog. The staff is friendly, and I'm definitely not the only one doing takeout because sometimes I feel like I'm ordering very early, and I'm already order number 10!

10/10 recommend!!!! Everything we got was decently priced and good portions. The sushi was good quality and the ramen was nice and rich. Though, I wouldn't recommend the desserts.... Overpriced and small portions for what you're getting (even the waiter admitted it was small but we still got some anyway). Still 10/10 food though we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was so great!!!!! They were very kind and respectful and made sure to check on us and took our order in a time efficient manner. We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was half crowded. The inside was nice and clean, I liked the seating arrangement they had. Also this place is cash only or they do take Venmo!!!!!! They have an ATM in the restaurant.

I recently ordered from Kyushu Sushi for takeout, and it was an okay experience. While the sushi didn't reach greatness, I appreciated the good portions, especially from their lunch menu. They have a variety of sushi on the menu, and the ambiance was inviting. If you're looking for a place with decent sushi and good portion sizes, Kyushu Sushi is worth a visit if you're in the area.

In the middle of the Italian market sits a serene Japanese izakaya with spa music on a Wednesday. Ordered the katsu bento and veggie tempura bento -- both with miso soup. Tempura was fresh (asparagus, sweet potato, broccoli) and tasty ($13). The message CASH ONLY prominently posted throughout. Ambiance may be lacking, but cheaper than a flight to Kyushu.

Their lunch specials as priced VERY reasonably - make sure you take advantage of that.The food was good, not amazing. They do basics well. Tables are pretty tightly packed so you may oberhear other conversations. Staff is nice and helpful but this is a mom and pop shop so don't expect high customer service or frills.CASH only!
