"Amazing food and service! A hidden gem in Exton, Pennsylvania!! If you pass this place on route 100 going through Exton, you should stop...it really is amazing!"
"I'm not sure why Happy House was a 4-star review last year, so just updating this to 5 stars!Still my go-to Chinese restaurant in the area!"

Visit Restaurant Page"Party of 2 dined in on Tuesday after noon for late lunch, we ordered soba noodle with katsu ($16) and tempura udon ($14) two rolls( spicy tuna, shrimp tempura roll $13) We were way too full, we left some udon but other than that, ate pretty clean. Miso soup and salad that come out with food were salty/too strong, we mixed lots of hot water to miso soup to dilute. We probably could have skipped the rollsI liked soba combo.."
"I love Vic's in Rosemont. Fresh, clean, Covid safe, easy to order and easy to pick up. My Nigiri platter had yellowfin, snapper, white tuna, salmon and eel. The eel is the best I've had. The fish is fresh and carefully molded to the rice. Also ordered a variety of rolls. From mango and avocado for the uninitiated to a tempura shrimp helping seafood fearing eaters to spicy tuna. All great. Order online. Pick up at window. Masks and gloves. Clean. Safe. Fresh."
"Memorial Day Sunday was my first visit to this AYCE buffet, recommended to us by a coworker. Minado's closing has left an empty hole in both my heart and my stomach. Weekend prices are $30.99/pp. We had an average experience at Oki, but nothing special that would draw us to drive from Philly in the future. What we loved about Minado was the style of sushi buffet - where everything is made bulk and you can go up to serve yourself as much or as little as you want. What I enjoyed about this style, was the ability to try just 1 piece of a special roll before committing your entire palate and stomach to a sushi roll you may not enjoy. Oki's AYCE is the same as all the other AYCE in Philly that I've been to - which is made to order. Some would argue that made to order is better because it's more fresh - but if the restaurant experiences the same turnover, my argument is that the freshness of the fish is the same. Overall, I enjoyed the special rolls we got here - especially the Passion and Nikkou were my favorites. The fried rolls are a bit more filling FYI, we also enjoyed the Dynamite roll, the Tuna Amazing and Pina colada. As for the freshness of the fish - it's about what you would expect from a buffet. The sushi I get from my local spot is definitely more fresh - but none of the fish here were "scary" - nor did we experience any stomach bug issues after consuming here. A couple notes- agedashi was surprisingly fried well, but the sauce that goes with it is not agedashi- the chicken skewer is not "satay", just a chicken skewery, no peanut sauce-sesame mochi ball is more of a dessert (like the sesame balls in Chinatown but smaller)I would return if I was in the neighborhood or once in a while like once a year type thing - but without the other style of buffet I would likely just frequent the same style of AYCE locally here in Philly"
"Take out review:Gorgeous restaurant inside, beautiful decors and interiors. Their menu also broad like other Asian restaurants, includes variety of dishes with beef pork duck, chicken, seafood and vegetables. We put in a take order with them. The order was prepared within estimated half an hour time. We liked the beef dishes, thin noodles. Triple crown (shrimp, scallop, chicken) was also good. The royal crown duck was disappointing. It was on the dryer side, not enough seasoning on it. The pancake was deep fried too much. They were very generous with us, gave us lots of side dishes, utensils and fortune cookies. Loved their FC, as its mixed with chocolate."
"I have ordered through them quite a bit, and one thing I can say is they are timely and have done a great job with the no-contact delivery. I have had a few dishes that were better than others (the crab ragoon the last time I had it was chewy), but for the most part they are pretty consistent."
"Sorry for the lack of pictures. The wonton soup was very good but not hot. The pecking duck was tasty but the skin wasn't as crispy as it should have been with a good amount of fat between the duck and the skin. The shrimp in black bean sauce was the favorite of the table as was the fried rice. But all the food came out warm not hot. Service was fair due to not checking in or filling water glasses. The restaurant itself was nice and they have a large takeout business."
"Izu is our go-to local sushi spot - as evidenced by all my photos! Whether for delivery or dine-in (preferred), we haven't gone wrong. Dine-in: great, friendly service. Lots of seating options including a table out front on Main Street. BYOB, which is great!Food: Always fresh, occasional specials, and everything is tasty. They've also been great with modifications (ie boiled shrimp vs tempura, or even steaming vs fried where applicable.)"
"Me and my hub been eyeing this spot for a while now. This week must be their grand opening. Because we was on our way home and saw the open sign. We knew we have to stop by. Sakura Japan is located at the intersection of Frankford and Harbison Avenue, where Subway used to be and next to Rita's. Looks pretty cozy from the outside. When we arrived at 9 something, think they was closing maybe? Bc the staffs mention he can whip up something for us just not sushi. My main intention was their sushi burrito, which I didn't see on the menu, my guess is they haven't add that yet. I didn't want to be difficult, so me and hub order Teriyaki Shrimps and Teriyaki Beef. Honestly, we didn't like the food too much. The broccoli on both entrees were undercooked, very hard. Meats are pretty mediocre. The best part is staffs are very friendly!"
"Very yummy! Nice ambiance and the service was great. Very fresh vegetables and well cooked meat!! Sushi delicious"
"One of my favorite restaurants when I am in the mood for Chinese and sushi! Love it every time."

One of regular takeout options, I particularly enjoy mainstay items like the Fried Rice, Lo Mein, won ton soup, egg rolls and General Tao's chicken. Some dishes like the Lemon Chicken can be a little hit or miss. I've had when it's excellent and when it's not quite right. The Beef and Broccoli can be a similar hit or miss experience. The staff is very friendly.

Love this place! That Tuna Sundae app is off the charts good! Our server recommended the Fire Dragon roll and it did not disappoint! And it came out flaming on fire - so cool! And they have Uni with Quale Egg - very rare for restaurants in the burbs to carry either in the menu. Really like the decor - tables and chairs looked brand new and stylish. We will be back!

When I think of cheap, affordable sushi, I think of Vic's. But even with the price, I am always disappointed. Their spicy tuna is overfilled with panko (cheap), and their tuna always tastes like it's been out a bit too long. This time, I decided to go all out and order their toro nigiri. However, toro, which should be delicious without doing anything to it, was the worst toro I've ever had. First of all, it was SEARED. Nowhere in their description does it say that their toro sushi/sashimi is cooked. This is so cheap and shady and makes me wonder if they only seared it because it was either old or not truly toro. Unfortunately, there aren't many other sushi restaurants in this area, so curved rating bumps up to a 3 when taking into account the competition.

I've been here a few times, but only because theres no other all you can eat sushi places ($29.99) in the area without venturing into philly. Its usually just oki(e) (3 stars), but this time it was terrible (1 star) and has put me off from going back.I've noticed the quality really varies depending on which day you go, and we made the mistake of going on a Wednesday night. The good:- Passion roll, the lemon is refreshing and cuts the fat and any game-y taste in the fish.- Dragon roll, it's hard to go wrong with eel (usually prepackaged precooked) and the avocado was perfect ripeness. The OK:- Salmon was not bad. Fresh-ish, but not the best. Also, we ordered 10 pieces of salmon and 10 pieces came, but they were tiny cubes of salmon instead of your typical sashimi size.- Kitchen things were alright. Tofu teriyaki and age tofu were almost identical, just with different sauce. The tofu itself is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Shumai and crab rangoon were standard. The bad:- Tuna was atrociously unfresh. Discolored and had a faint unpleasant odor. Pretty sure this is what gave me the upset tummy.- Squid seemed OK at first, but had a bad after taste. Also not fresh.- Spider roll was OK up until the soft shell crab. Same situation where it likely was also not fresh.- Service was not great, they missed items on the order and were bad about giving us the paper menu (as to slow us down from ordering?)Overall, dont recommend unless it's a busy weekend where turnover of fish is quick.

We came here for dinner. It was very good! We were able to find parking right out front. The interior is very cool. Each table is its own little room. Such cool decor! I got an egg roll to start. It was really good. Nice fat roll with mini shrimp. Best egg roll I've had since I moved south. For some reason egg rolls in the south are just not the same. For my main course I got the spicy beef and shrimp. The shrimp were really big and the beef was very good. I really enjoyed the sauce this was in. I did not find it to be spicy at all. I would definitely get it again but maybe ask them to make it a little spicier. Service was great. Menu is huge with lots of sushi and both Chinese and Japanese fare. You really can't go wrong here.

Went here a couple times recently. Good shrimp dishes including honey walnut shrimp, angel hair with shrimp and crabmeat, and shrimp chow fun. Interesting vegetarian dishes like cellophane noodles with shiitake mushrooms and tofu. Dumplings were consistently good - we tried both the steamed meat and the watercress dumplings. COVID-19 precautions still in place - you pick up takeout orders from the enclosed entryway on the Brookline Blvd entrance for their Chinese portion of the restaurant. Food was ready on time when promised, about 20-25 minutes.

"One of the businesses in the Market at Chestnut Hill. obviously limited hours due to the market only being open Thursday to Saturday. Otherwise, this food stand is pretty good if you want non-expensive sushi. They have ready-made sushi rolls or you can ask them to make you a fresh roll. The raw fish is really fresh and the sushi rice was really yummy. A roll can cost you around $7-$10 on average which is good price wise. They also sell miso soup, edamame, spring rolls, etc, I have tried the spring rolls which are actually very delicious and again affordable at $4.50 for 7 pieces. The staff were really friendly as well. I would suggest stopping by this stand if you happen to be in the area. It's worth it."
"I found this place driving between Home Depot and Target. It's a seafood and sushi place in a strip mall right near the Target. I was starved and mid shopping the afternoon away so I stopped in and ordered a meal. The place was pretty empty but surprisingly the food took a while to get. It was okay for me personally because I didn't mind the shopping break. But if you are in a hurry you might be annoyed. The seaweed salad was great! I also ordered a salmon avocado roll which tasted good but I would have liked more salmon in it."
"Very fresh sushi on Main Street. We just moved to the area and were craving sushi! We arrived around 730 on a Friday night and were immediately seated outside. We started with miso soups and a sashimi Tower. The miso soup was decent. We also got the coconut shrimp and edamame. Coconut shrimp was delicious! The edamame was okay. Nothing special. We all ordered a bunch of rolls. Hard to remember which ones but everything was delicious and tasted extremely fresh. We're happy we were outside as inside was hot and very loud. Service was average. We will be back for our sushi cravings!"
"Got the shrimp tempura, salmon tempura and spider roll combo. Pretty good. Will definitely be trying more soon."
"Went here today during the Manayunk Arts Festival and sat in their sister restaurant's dining room. I love that they combined for indoor dining - plus, we got to order off of two different menus! He was feeling Thai and I was craving some veggie sushi, so it worked out perfectly. I included a picture of the sweet potato roll and avocado roll I ordered. They tasted fresh, and the sweet potato roll had some really nice crunch from the tempura and sesame seeds. The staff members were attentive and kind, and the prices were fair. What more can you ask for? :)"
"Exciting addition to the neighborhood. We hosted during the soft open, so no bar yet. It's of to visit an izakaya without liquor, but our meal was still great. Complimentary miso soup set a flavorful tone for the meal. It was great and warming on a blustery day. The Kara age chicken was so juicy and flavorful. It came with "yum yum" sauce but I liked it on its own. The fried rice, made with duck fat, was really rich. We opted for the sous vide egg addition but it probably wasn't necessary. The rice itself was rich and delicious. My SO loved the potatoes. The rolls were good too. The roasted vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The futomaki roll was also good with a briny taste (from the seaweed?) that I liked. SO loved the cucumber avocado roll as well. I look forward to returning and enjoying the bar too. I love izakaya-style dining and am so glad this place is nearby!"
"It's a very good Korean/Japanese restaurant with sushi bar. I felt the price was generally more expensive, but they're probably just reflecting where it's located. Oh yeah, I was asked if I had a reservation...server went back and came back to tell us she'll get a table ready in a minute. There was only another table occupied, so I felt a little funny. I'd recommend to make reservation if you're eating here. Also, dining-in, take out and curveside pick-up are available. Atmosphere was very good with quiet ambiance and subtle decorations. It was not too crowded when we had our dinner on Tuesday evening. I think we heard some drum beats coming through from neighboring brew house that was totally out of place, though. Service was generally good. Our glasses didn't go empty. The young server repeatedly called us "you guys." I felt it was somewhat out of place especially addressing seniors like us. Oh well, I'm getting old.Food--was very good. My katsudon had a nice flavor with a generous portion of pork cutlet. It was a good cut of meat and cooked well. Scallions could've been cut in to thinner slices. The rest of the table really enjoyed dolsot (hot stone bowl) bibimbap. They said individual ingredient was flavored well and put together very well. You can control the heat with the amount of gochujang sauce you put on. There was another sauce without any heat for those who don't want any spiciness. It was altogether very enjoyable dining experience, and everyone was happy we came here."
"The former Lotus Inn is now Issho, and I took my parents there for lunch. It was our first visit, and will be neither mine nor their last, since the tastiness of the dishes delighted us all! There are lunch specials, and I partook of the 3 Combo Rolls (tuna, salmon, and hamachi...but there are others available as well), each of which was delicious. My mother enjoyed the Bento Box, and reported its contents to be wonderful. It was Vegetable Tempura for my father, who is exceptionally particular about his lunches, and he was also significantly impressed. Dessert was a Tempura Cheesecake, which was remarkable, and for my parents their Green Tea Fried Ice Cream elicited huge smiles from each! Friendly staff, pleasant aesthetics, and delicious food! This new business is excellent, and next time I will BYO, so that I may enjoy some wine with my meal. Thanks, Issho! I am glad that you are here for when I am in town!"
"Looks can definitely be deceiving and that is definitely the case with the exterior of WooJung. This sushi restaurant is in an old shopping plaza with limited parking however when you walk in you feel like you're being transported to Japan. I arrived for a late night weekday dinner on a rainy evening and there was only one other party seated at a table. My friend and I were immediately greeted handed menus and offered cold water. It is a fairly large space with many tables and beautiful art on the walls. The food was very fresh and beautifully presented. I had the shrimp tempura appetizer $11.95 that was perfectly fried and served with a few tempura vegetables. It was a difficulty decision selecting a roll, everything sounded so good and pretty interesting. With assistance from our waitress I decided to order a jalapeno business roll $19 (love the name!). It was very filling and contained very fresh fish. I wanted to order a Japanese beer but learned the restaurant is BYOB. There is a bar next door selling beer and spirits but I decided to just enjoy my meal with water. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely return."
"Absolutely delicious sushi & sashimi bento lunch special. The fish was so fresh. Even the California roll was so good too. I am going to rave about the sushi rice served it was cooked perfectly."
"The food has gone really downhill. I still like the pork dumplings and the spring roll. But the price of the General Tao's chicken has gone up, and the quality way down. The chicken tastes very off and resembles tough scraps instead of actual meat. No thank you."
"Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was practically starving and really wanted sushi. This is definitely the definition of a hole in the wall, but when you walk in it is all of the energy that you need. Everybody is really nice and the menu is very clear. I ordered a few things that were new to me, but there are no words to describe how good these photos tasted. Ha ha. We truly cannot wait to come back to visit again.Y'all definitely come here, check it out and enjoy!!"
"My family and I came here for my dad's 70th birthday. At the VERY last minute they accommodated us with a private room. I highly recommend asking to reserve a private room when you book, if it's a large and/or special party occasion. The service was excellent. The servers kept helping us change out the grills and bringing more and varied meats. There was something for the whole family here, from toddler to adult. The only thing I can possibly think of that's negative is that my clothes and hair smelled so strongly of meat afterwards - but that's temporary."
"Fantastic sushi, best in the area (our favorites include sushi Nami roll , under control roll), also the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. One of our go-tos, dine in or out- this place is awesome."
"After my second time ordering takeout from here, I can confirm the same assessment as most of the other reviews here - Tampopo is pretty great no matter what you get. Last time I had the salmon bibimbop, which was pretty tasty, and I'm picky about bibimbop. I think I might have liked my soba noodle salad with tofu and spicy dressing this time even more though. The salad is super filling so either order when you're really hungry or if you like having leftovers. My partner can confirm that the yakisoba noodles with tofu are also very good, but the curry yudon tofu is GREAT. I have to admit I was a bit envious when he got that the last time we ordered. I was thinking of getting it this time but decided to go for something lighter. Now he's declared loyalty to curry yudon tofu for all future visits so I've lost my chance. Guess I'll just have to try japchae noodles instead next time..."
"Bleu Sushi is an absolute gem tucked away in the city! Walking in, you'll feel like you've stumbled upon a cozy hideaway, even though it's more like a delightful surprise than a hole in the wall. The ambiance is charmingly quaint, making you feel right at home the moment you step inside. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! It's like a flavor fiesta on your taste buds. The fish is so fresh it practically swims to your plate, and the dishes are as vibrant as a work of art. Each bite is a delightful dance of flavors that leaves you eagerly anticipating the next. And let's not forget the service - it's as good as the sushi! The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and the food arrives at lightning speed, ensuring you don't have to wait long before diving into sushi bliss.Bleu Sushi is the kind of place that deserves every bit of hype it gets. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or just dipping your toes into the sushi sea, this spot is a must-visit. I'm already planning my next trip back for another round of their incredible rolls. Highly recommend!"
"My wife and I went here for dinner and had a great experience. Two things right off the bat - one, you should make a reservation because this place is packed for dinner, and rightfully so. And two, it's BYOB, so if you're looking to have a few drinks with dinner bring whatever you'd like. My wife and I didn't know either of these until we walked in. The staff was very friendly and explained that they were fully booked for the night but they might be able to squeeze us in if we didn't mind waiting. We were in no rush so we went to grab some beer and came back and waited until two seats opened up at the sushi counter. As we were waiting, we struck up conversation with a few people who were either leaving or waiting to pick up take out, and every single person said "wait it out, trust me it'll be worth it". They were right; I'm glad we waited it out, it was indeed well worth it. We ordered the chefs pork dumplings and the tako carpaccio right away, and followed it up with three or four delicious rolls of sushi - each with their own signature taste and texture. The chefs on the other side of the counter offered great recommendations and general conversation without missing a beat on preparing the next dish in front of them. 10/10, fantastic experience. BlueFin will become part of our regularly scheduled rotation."
"I went to their birthday anniversary and it was quite fun a delicious. They gave out swag bags with sake in it and a coupon! Very generous. Pros- the quality of the fish and the number of sushi and plates is delicious. Never can go wrong with Uni! Also pro tip is to pay in cash for a discount. Cash is king. You can watch the sushi being made for you up close. Here are my thoughts: Wakame seaweed 5/5 refreshing flavor blastCrab cucumber dish + Oyster that was sweet and citrusy 4.5/5Madai was really good and soft and melted 5/5Shima aji yummy too 4/5Saba fire!! Toasty And lime handed to you 4/5Kinmadai solid 4.5/5Salmon lightly smoked with truffle salt on top 4.5/5Uni rice w/ toro was wonderful 5/5 Toro was very very yum 5/5A5 wagyu was my favorite 5/5Uni can't go wrong 4.5/5Ebi yum 4.5/5Toro with caviar and gold spray was so pretty, fun and delicious 5/5Baked Eel was scrumptious 4.5/5Sake ice cream 3/5 (mine was ice Chippy) Cons-they focus on speed rather than perfection in each bite. With their model they are trying to get you in and out. The fish are cut in various slices and I saw that our chef actually miscounted and so the last person got a double chubby piece. They have a menu but there was no predictable order. My sake ice cream was a weird consistency. It's like when you have melted ice cream and then it freezes weird so you get ice chips. My partners ice cream was a normal consistency and was better. The taste is very unique and overall fun. Another con is the wait. I got there on time but had to wait around 15-20 mins to get seated Overall I had a fun time and would stop by again. The ambiance was fun but stressful because you can tell the chefs were pressed. The staff/chefs were getting stressed because the next group of people arrived and had to wait clumped in the front because everyone was wrapping up. It's not the perfect omakase but it's definitely a solid price. Worth trying."
"Another great meal!! The duck is amazing with crispy skin and moist meat love the mushroom sauce. Will be ordering this again and again. I wasn't a fan of the wonton soup with spinach. It almost tasted fishy to me. Not something I would order again."
"Party of 2 dined in sunday evening... huge space inside - sushi and bar in front and hibachi&bbq in the back. we were escorted in the back as we reserved for ayce ; they just started(i made reservations over facebook business account chat) We were escorted in the back promptly. We were pretty starving. Ordered miso soup, house salad and Takoyaki for appetizers (so many tempting choices makes me greedy but I managed to keep it down to 3) and 3 rolls (not all of their regular menu is included in the ayce options and no sashimi) and bbq meats. Salad did not look that pretty (?) but the dressing was banging! 3 rolls were pretty appetizing appealing. Be aware bbq meats come in smaller portion so if you can eat alot (?) mark quantity accordingly on the order sheet. They have so many good options for meats; porks, beef, duck breast, lamb, prime rib eye (very thin slices) scallops...I instantly regretted ordering too much (?) rolls since rice was pretty filling and I couldn't really dig in bbq.. Only downside was there was no proper sauce for bbq as they were new probably... and serving was bit slow in between providing meats so order plenty and ahead! Seems like 30 mins before closing time is their last call, the server informed us to order for the last time but we were full... The manager (?) was very attentive, smiley and nicely kept checking on us Bill came with (25% promo this month -$9 from 35.99... $26.99 per person) and $7 for 2 Soda.. pretty decent price for ayce I can totally see myself revisiting here but hopefully they had more sauce options!"
"This was an absolute 5-star dining experience. I truly cannot think of one complaint at all. The staff was so friendly and nice and the service was quick and they were attentive. Food was unreal. We got the chicken lettuce wraps, calamari and crab rangoons. SO YUMMY. The rolls were all fresh and delicious. Prices are so reasonable and the experience is elevated. They could charge so much more, but don't tell them!!!! Dessert was great. BYOB!!!!!! Highly recommend."
"My 1st review was 3 years ago and this place is just consistently good. I'm so glad it stayed open through the pandemic. In the last few weeks, we've ordered the shrimp fried rice, shrimp tempura roll, fantastic roll, beef teriyaki bento box, shrimp shumai, Cali roll. Everything is affordable and tasty. Would still recommend!"
