J&J Super Market

I went here on Saturday morning and noticed that there's a guy ordering tamales at the prepared food section at the back of the store. Very friendly lady at the counter. They sell three tamales in one pack. I got rojos and mole. $6 a pack. Big size and a lot of filling with authentic flavor. Highly recommend them. Besides tamales they sell other items too such as empanadas, steamed yuca. I will definitely come back

This mini market HAS everything. I couldn't find Bounty paper towels after shopping 2 Acme markets. Walk in to be greeted by a friendly staff who were eager to help find what I needed. I couldn't find Mr.Clean sure enough they had that and more.

Best corner store EVER. I live around the block and even through the roughest times of COVID lockdown JJs ALWAYS managed to have all of the essentials in stock. It's basically become my regular supermarket. Shop local people, as often as you can!

Great corner store! Fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices, a full service meat counter, hot food counter, and a wide variety of Mexican products. Family-run and well stocked! Small aisles and the occasional lines are no reason to bypass this bodega.

Good corner bodega - recently remodeled/expanded. Solid selection of veggies, fruit, and meats (also have organic milk, fyi). Cheaper than the Acme or ShopRite and within walking distance of for most of EPX/Dickinson neighborhood.. Family-run business, so might need to flag someone down if you need to find something, but Jose who runs the shop is always helpful and attentive.

It's a decent local place and the people are nice. Just have to watch the prices being a small local grocery they are more expensive generally. The only real problem is it's so stuffed with things you can't even wait in line to pay there's no place to stand it's very claustrophobic as there's no way to get out of the way and people are always bumping into you and pushing you around. If they could just make a little more room around the cash register area it would make life a lot simpler and I would use the space a lot more.

Great corner grocery market! They have everything! And almost always open! Definatly my go too when I don't feel like going all the way to the grocery store! They also have great Mexican grocieries as well which is a great plus! You can fine all your needs here in a pinch!

Love this market. Just moved into neighborhood and they have so much fresh produce and things I need in the kitchen without me having to go to a big supermarket. Prices are competitive to major chains so it's just as affordable as any other place in the city

Great friendly people. Will come back for more food. Hot food was amazing. Only need nine more characters/

The cashier in the afternoon are very nice n helpful. But the hot food isn't good, its always hard or burnt. But it's the best stop to go food shopping.
