"As the other Yelpers have mentioned, the sweets here are a bit of a splurge. But to me, they're worth it.Personally, I'm addicted to their slammers with lime Italian ice. I'm also a huge fan of their popular gelato custard with vanilla ice cream and mango Italian ice. On a hot day, there's nothing more satisfying than having a smooth, silky, and refreshing vanilla custard ice cream along with the sweet and tangy mango Italian ice. Service here is pretty quick. Even when there's a line, they don't take too long to serve each customer. And since it's a take-out only spot, don't expect to get a seat inside their shop since there isn't one. Fairmount is a beautiful neighborhood with lots of scenic areas to enjoy your icy treats though."

"I had a unicorn milkshake and my friend had a different flavored milkshake. There were no (good) cones available on this day. I was a bit surprised with it being a Saturday and all. In addition, I saw some cones hanging on the wall in their cone holders. But I couldn't tell if the cones were bad or if the employee didn't know how to pull the cones out properly. I know I wouldn't personally know how to pull the cones out properly. Makes me wonder if they ran out of gloves or were low on gloves possibly. Also, any add-ons like sprinkles were not options and there were some on display in containers. Flavor options they had and having some different options is good.5 stars because the ice cream quality and the flavor I got were really good to me and this other stuff was not a big deal to me, but I could've easily given this 3 or 4 stars on this experience. Also, the employee let a friend and I sit in the wall length booth seats after we ordered even though it seemed setup as more a waiting area rather than a "dine-in" area."

"I've been wanting to try banana mousse forever, but everytime I drive by there's a long line outside and I finally found out why! The menu was limited but the options were interesting ranging from peanut butter flavors , cinnamon toast crunch to cookies and cream. They sell to-go pints and sundaes, but the owner suggested I get the milkshakes since I was traveling a bit to get them home. She was really sweet, too! I ordered the cinnamon toast crunch milkshake as well as a chocolate milkshake. I'm not the biggest chocolate ice cream person (don't judge me) but theirs was pretty rich! I also did enjoy my cinnamon toast milkshake having actual cereal at the bottom. I might start randomly putting cereal in my icecream to entertain my inner child. The $10 price point was a bit "wow" but overall I'll def be supportive!"

"How have I not reviewed Sam's before??This is the best pizza in Drexel Hill. I mean that. The sauce is sweet and the cheese is salty, and the crust is always perfectly done. It's never overcoooked or undercooked and they usually get your pizza out to you in lightning speed. Their cheesesteaks are also pretty good, not to mention super cheap for what you get! I don't think I've ever been disappointed in anything I've ordered here, and let me tell you I order things from here a lot. 5/5 great pizza, truly one of my favorites of all time!"

Why did I spend an extra dollar for less than a tablespoon of sprinkles? My husband ordered a small vanilla soft serve and he got just as much ice cream as I did. I don't think these kids know how to measure ice cream servings. Way overpriced. I might come back to try the burgers and fries, though that seems a bit overpriced too. We'll see."

"You know warmer weather has arrived when thoughts turn to hitting up the nearby ice cream spots. Carminati's is a small independent gelateria in the Keswick Village section of Glenside. It is a hidden gem. Their housemade gelatos and sorbets are superb. I especially love their salted caramel gelato but on a recent visit I passed on that to order a Honeydew Melon sorbet. I had never tried that flavor before and I can only say it was a great choice because it makes for a fruity and tasty sorbetto. Carminati's is usually open from about Thursday to Sunday so if you're in the area on one of those days, seek it out. It is easy to drive right by as it is very small ... but def be on the lookout and you will be pleasantly rewarded when you find it."

"I don't know how this place went under the radar! Maybe it's because it's in plain sight but also a team bit hard to get to because it sits kind of off on a corner where there's not much parking except across the street at the Wawa. They do have a small parking lot but it's challenging. Every time I would drive past here there would be a line of people so I waited until the lines were shorter and took my shot. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was how long it took to get service even with just two people in line. Literally like 20 minutes. Maybe a little more. All the ice cream choices were pretty exciting so I did mine sitting there. Just reading the menu. I did like how colorful the place was too. The first time I try a place I always get either cookies and cream or vanilla just to see what the base level is like. The ice cream here is pretty solid. I will say that. They have many other desserts so when I get a chance I will give them another try."

"At the recommendation of a neighbor, we learned of this place and was not disappointed. It is set back from the road so you really won't stop unless you know what is back there. There are plenty of others reviews but let's just say that this ice cream is worth a detour. You are charged by the ounce and not the scoop. Plenty of flavors that include the names of the cows whence the dairy came. Hours change with the seasons. Parking can be challenging. Impromptu farm market also on site.Go for the dulce de leche or chocolate brownie. Mmmmmmm"

Located inside the Reading Terminal Market, Bassett is family owned and has been in business at this spot for 4 generations, since 1892. There are several options to enjoy, cones, cup, shakes and pints to take home. The staff was helpful with suggestions but I made my own creation. A vanilla shake with chocolate swirls inside and caramel drizzle on top. That was some real tasty goodness. The line moved fairly quick and the atmosphere was great."
