My jaw nearly hit the floor when I walked into the old furniture store turned giant Asian supermarket. I honestly never I thought I'd see one this huge on this side of the Main Line. Growing up around here, we had access to small mom & pop Asian marts that would tide us over till the next planned weekend trip to Chinatown, ASSI, or HMart for fresh meat and seafood. But now it's so close and convenient! On one hand, I'm really glad to not have to travel far for cuts we don't usually see at other local grocery stores. But with this new shop front attracting the lion's share of customers, I'm a little worried those other neighborhood marts will disappear. They'll always have a couple of staple items that this giant store likely won't carry.Overall, the inventory quality is stellar. The seafood and meat sections were particularly impressive, and the staff were really helpful. The butcher was even willing to help us custom grind leaner pork cuts, a service that only places like Shady Maple would do upon request. You'll also find a variety of exotic fruits (oh hello durian, jackfruit, mangosteen, yellow dragonfruit, soursop, and winter jujube -- to name a few) and other fresh imports. The cluster of longan (dragon eye) fruit we bought were all plump, juicy, and fragrant. And I even spotted all the hard to find international KitKat flavors and Lotte Choco Pies. There were soooo many snacks!Plastic bags were provided, but it's a lot better to just bring your own reusable bags. The parking lot is very spacious and there's plenty of space to wheel your cart outside. There are accessible cart return areas in the parking lot so you don't have to walk your cart all the way back to the store. From what I could tell, the venue is mostly wheelchair accessible too and the bathrooms are on the main floor near the cashier lanes.I haven't had a chance to really take a look at the freezer section just yet, but I'm hoping to find familiar hot pot ingredients, desserts, and Japanese natto there. Can't wait to go back and take my time browsing!

Good addition to the suburb area, I go to the Chinatown location quite often but this one seems to be even bigger and less crowded.Better section for seafood, vegetables and fruit than all the surrounding Asian supermarkets, the items on sale are unbelievably cheap but some items can be more expensive than the Chinatown location.Easy to pay with card that's a plus. Would definitely go again!

The way I scour Asian markets, one would think I'm a good cook. I'm not. But I buy, I try and I improvise.Newly open, Hung Vuong is large and well laid out, with a multitude of options. You want bean paste? Have your pick! I used to buy ginger candies at an equally big market on Buford Hwy in Atlanta. They sold one kind. This store has at least four. With grand opening prices, there are specials to be had. A Vietnamese gentleman I spoke with said that in Asian markets, if it says "2 for $4.99" you generally have to buy two to get the deal. I checked with customer service. Nope! Buy one for half price. They have fresh fish, meats, produce and most anything one needs to prepare a fabulous meal. (As said, if you come to my house, don't expect fabulous!) Today's clientele is primarily Asian. I can't wait to tell my Korean neighbor about this market -- though I suspect she may already know.

The store overall is great. Some are a little pricey and some are pretty decent priced. Glad I don't have to drive in the city for most things. Aisles are kinda small compared to the other stores but still a good addition to the area. Can't wait for the food court to open in the future. Now what they can add in the future is a meat stand(crispy pork belly, roast duck, etc) and Balut because I've been craving

Game changer for grocery shopping in the area! Hung Vuong has everything you can think of in terms of Asian groceries. Although the Berwyn store may be a bit smaller than their Cherry Hill location, it still covers everything you potentially need. I can't describe how excited the Asian community is. Meanwhile, it may be bad news for the smaller Asian grocery stores nearby--I hope they won't push Ebo out of business (Ebo fresh market is still my favorite spot).
