Human Robot Schuylkill Banks

Alternate location for Human Robot. The best part of the experience is the space. It's enormous with a lot of different seating options, including booths, couches, bar seats, and a nice outdoor stool area. The music was LIT, a most random choice of 2000s emo. It wasn't super crowded when we went so super easy to get service. It's combined with a bagel place and not sure how appealing that would be for like later in the day beers. The main drawback is the beer options itself: about 7 options and a wide gamut of things but nothing overall so so appealing.

Had to host a last minute social for work and this place pulled through for us. Not only were they super responsive over email, but they were proactive in helping us the day of and we had a really successful event.To start, they have a great selection. A friend of mine lives in Fishtown and says this is his go-to spot it the HR closer to him so we walked in with high expectations. We knew their beer selection from looking online, but they were happy to break it down and answer any questions. My coworker and I both enjoyed a Rangi New Zealand Pilsner (but we saw our other colleagues enjoying a variety of other drinks).It's located in a sort of office building that makes it a little tricky to find, but there is a nice outside patio where you can see the Schuykill River (we saw lightening too haha). We'll definitely be back and recommend folks to check this spot out as well!

Visiting Philly and had this place on the top of my list of breweries to check out. Did not disappoint one bit. Pretty fortunate to be staying a few blocks away from this tasting room . Excellent beer and friendly and helpful staff. Beer so good we visited twice during our trip. Shoutout to John for the hospitality.

After going to their original location, I was extremely excited for them to open another one walkable from my apartment. The view is fantastic and the beers are consistently good with great staff ready to lead you in the right direction on what to try. I went on a day where it was really hot outside, so to be able to sit at the bar and see the view from the air conditioning was great. They have some good social media content, and am looking forward to coming in on a different day when they have a collab with a local food truck/business etc.

We hit this place on a recent Saturday afternoon visit to Philly, and glad we stopped in. Starting with the most important thing for any taproom - their beers. They had a nice selection of pilsners & lagers when we were there. They did have 1 IPA on tap, as well as 1 fruit influenced brew. Enjoyed the different beers that we had, and will definitely be going back just because of the quality of the beers. Very enjoyable. The day we stopped in, it was rather quiet, so the bar-keep gave us a good amount of attention. He was very friendly and helpful, and stopped by to check on us to see about refills, etc... Great space - they share it with a bagel place that obviously is busier in the mornings, and it's a great way to utilize the space over a longer amount of hours. Really thought that was innovative for a microbrewery. This one is on my list of places to return on the next trip to Philly. Keep making those great beers!
