Literally always my family's go-to for an Asian market in Malvern!! I'm pretty sure they are the closest Asian mart other than the ones near or in the city. They always have what we need, whether vegetables or meat or Asian spices! 10/10 recommend them if you need to get some authentic Asian musts for your pantry! Very kind owners. Inside is typical of what you expect of an Asian grocery store.

First time here. We were at a birthday party next door and decided to check this Asian grocery store out. So happy we did. This is a neat medium-sized Asian market, probably the biggest in the KOP-Malvern area. I'm able to find all I need. Price is competitive, not more expensive than online Asian food vendors or HMart.

Nice Asian market out here in Chester County, decent enough selection. Does anyone know why the county closed it down?

Five stars for this hidden jem. Such a surprise to find this in the middle of Malvern. Hello indoor mini mall i didn't even know existed in the corner of a shopping center. Glad i ventured in to find a decent variety of Asian ingredients, produce and goods, and enough of a selection that it is good enough to save me an hour trip to South or north Philadelphia most of the time. Not quite as big as the mega markets in Philadelphia, but well enough stocked to keep me coming back and saving time and gas! Thanks for being in a surprise location and doing a good job of stocking your shelves!

This Asian market clearly has a word-of-mouth following. It was filled with shoppers Who had obviously been there before. The market sits in a peculiar strip mall that holds a few random asian restaurants, stores, hair salon, and a cool old fashion pinball machine arcade. It's not easy to find this market and not readily apparent that it exists from the street. Gong's market has fresh vegetables, a plethora of frozen treats ranging from meats to the shumai you get at local restaurants. I was shopping for Tree ear fungus and Tigerlily buds for a Mushu pork dinner party. I had plenty of choices. I also picked up a nice Napa cabbage and a few of sauces and staples. There were many choices of noodles and rice as well. A few years ago I was looking for quail eggs for Christmas dinner and came up short. Of course they have quail eggs at Gong's market. If you're looking for traditional Chinese staples for your kitchen, look no further. This local grocery store in Frazer Will likely have what you're looking for. I left wishing I had a tour from a regular shopper. Gong's market has all of the Asian type random food you might be looking for. Even if you were not looking for this type of food it is kind of fun to check it out.

I was craving some Asian food, so I decided to look up Asian marts near me. This one wasn't too far from the errands I was on. You have to make sure you go into the right door, then down the hall past the tattoo shop. There are two parts to the market and some fresh veggies and meats/ fish are in the middle. I found everything I needed for my meal plus some yummy Asian snacks and of course Gyoza. The register is run by 2 people, and it is pretty efficient. I would go early if you want the fresh stuff. There is also a section for bakery items. And bamboo leaf wrapped sticky rice too. If you like egg custard tarts, theirs are really good and sweet. Melt in your mouth treat! I will definitely be getting those again.Overall I will go back again! Good spot like a mini Chinatown.... in Malvern.

For a small grocery's store, they have everything you need. Well, if you don't, you can ask the owner to see if he can help you get it from philly. It's such a convenient market for mainline area.

I've lived in China and Japan and in Philadelphia, not too far from Chinatown. Now I live in the suburbs and I'm happy to say that Gong's Market has everything I was starting to miss. Well, close enough. There will always be one or two things you're a given shopper won't find here and they may make a judgement on that, but for me, Gong's is as complete an Asian market as I'd hope to find out here. There are also a few other quirky markets in the same complex that I recommend visiting. A shoe repair guy there does excellent leather work, for example.Ignore their website: They are closed on Mondays.
