My wife and I had a delightful Sunday dinner at Frankie's Fellini Cafe, a charming BYOB Italian restaurant. The cozy ambiance and warm service made for a perfect evening out.We started with the Burrata, which was one of the best we've ever had. It was incredibly creamy, with a perfectly soft center and a delicate, fresh flavor that truly stood out. Next, we enjoyed the fried meatball and roasted sausage. The balance of vegetables and meat made these dishes not only delicious but also felt healthy and satisfying. For the main course, we had the Tortellini Pasticciati--a delightful baked pasta dish with cream, ham, peas, and mozzarella. It was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. To top off our meal, we indulged in the cannoli, which was fresh and delicious, providing a sweet end to our dining experience. Our server, Don, was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service that enhanced our evening. Frankie's Fellini Cafe is a small, cute restaurant that is perfect for families and offers a wonderful Italian dining experience. Highly recommend! Five stars!

So let me put it in perspective, we showed up with 14 people , with a reservation, of course and the place seats maybe 35. Valerie was our server and was beyond extraordinary. My suggestion is skip the bread, really, and not because it's fresh and tasty, you will need the room. Appetizers were absolutely amazing. The bruschetta brought a tear to my eyes with shaved parm and fresh garlic... heavenly. Not forgetting the meatballs and calamari. As far as entrees, super fresh and generous. Everyone took at least half homeTLDR: want an amazing meal and a ton of memories, this is your spot

Fabulous food but I recommend getting it to go. We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated because it was packed. It's a very small location and you are squished in like a can of sardines. It's incredibly loud and overwhelming. Service was ok. They were very friendly but so busy that it took a long time for anyone to come to our table. It's clearly family run and they work their butts off. It's BYOB which is great. The specials offered were great and had a wide variety of options. Bruschetta- good but very garlicky. The shredded parm on top is great. Cesar salad is amazing. Fresh and creamy with anchovies paste and good parm cheese. One of the best I've ever had. Super fresh croutons with crunch and soft too Aranchibi was mushy and didn't have much flavor. Rigitoni is good but very Al dente. The famous meatball was tough and over cooked. Lots of pepper.Chicken parm was good and tender. Not much chicken and a lot of breading. Came with tons of spaghetti. Overall had great flavor.

Stopped in for dinner and their entree special was Tripe and chorizo sausage in a marinara sauce. Now seriously, what restaurant has Tripe on their menu? Why Frankie's Fellini Cafe of course. And by the way, it was delicious! Thank you Frankie. Please call ahead for reservations. There was a one hour wait for a table tonight.

Franke is always very accommodating. The menu is very extensive. This is South Philly Italian. Restaurants beats Berwyn on the mainline.

Small Restaurant with Extraordinary Food. Fellini is in an unassuming location, across from the Berwyn train station in a small strip. The interior is packed with people, all with smiles, sharing plates with friends. The service is prompt. You may be treated to Frankie's serenade depending on when you go. I'm looking forward to Christmas Eve's Feast of the Seven Fishes.

We typically go every Sunday evening for dinner. The staff and food are outstanding. We have never been disappointed in the service or meals. If it is very busy sometimes the server will apologize for the service being slower than normal. It is never too long. The countless dishes on the menu are too numerous to mention bc everything is outstanding. Frankie and his staff do everything to make people feel welcome. The prices are fair and typically there is a significant amount to take away. Cannot recommend highly enough.
