First Wok is one of the BEST Chinese take out places I've ever tried. I order at least once a month, and my food arrives as it is described and hot. THe delivery person is always pleasant and says thank you. The food is absolutely delicious! I've tried almost everything on the menu, and recommend all of it. My favorite is the Beef LoMein and the Shrimp with Lobster sauce, I love their friend scallops too. You get plenty to share and they are cooked to perfection! Today I tried General Tso's Chicken, and although it is spicy, it is not overly so and was just so good. The pint container is enough to satisfy a very hungry person or you could share with another if you aren't starving. I will continue to order from them. Ordering online is very easy and accurate. It is so nice to have good food that can be delivered to your home in a timely fashion, is affordable, and you get plenty. Thank you to the people at First Wok!

Hands down the best Chinese food delivery in Philly. There isn't much on the menu we haven't tried, but some faves are the sesame chicken, mei fun, chicken wings, any of their soups, pork fried rice, cashew chicken...and on and on. Fast delivery by them--NOT door dash! So skip all those extra fees. So friendly when they drop off. Amazing customer service. They remember your orders, even if you did some substitutions or customizations on a previous order. Order from them regularly and never had a bad experience.

I been buying food here for quite sometime. They sent me 2 brunt and greasy eggrolls with a napkin in the bag to catch the grease. Also the fries were half done and cold. I called and the lady said there were real busy and that's why my order was the way it was. I told her I couldn't eat none of it. She said she would take care of it another day. I called tues. A girl answered and i told her what happened..the lady wanted me to pay for one item before she would reimburse me. I paid for the fries and she charged me 2.50 delivery.

Never. Again. I ordered beef fried rice. The rice was soaked in oil. They didn't even fry it! Disgusting. My daughter ordered chicken wings (mediocre) and the fries didn't taste like they were cooked all the way. I will never order from here AGAIN.

I know what you're thinking - if you've ever had the unfortunate opportunity to make your way down Chelten Avenue and pass this place, it definitely doesn't look like anywhere you'd wanna stop in for Chinese. But this place has the BEST General Tso's chicken I've had so far in Philly. It was cooked perfectly crispy with a sweet-spicy sauce, unlike the soggy chicken from all the other places around that I swear just use the sweet and sour sauce for their dishes.I never would've thought to try this place, but my roommate had only an hour between glasses at PhilaU, and this was the first place Google Maps found for me in the area. My roommate really liked the pork lo mein, too.Yeah, this place has the stereotypical bulletproof glass, and the 10 minutes I was waiting in there I was afraid for my life and was positive the rims on my car were gonna be missing when I went back out, but everything went well and I'll definitely be back.

Cheap, fast, and tasty. Even though it's located in a scary neighborhood and you order through bulletproof glass, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the food is pretty darn good. It's cash only, but very affordable for the portion size. We got the Singaporean noodles which are quite tasty. Plenty of curry powder and chili flakes to give it a lot of flavor. And it was packed with an assortment of veggies and protein. I quite enjoyed it. We also got the broccoli chicken which I thought was a bit greasy, but also quite good. I'm glad we asked for less sauce because it was plenty saucy to even with that adjustment.

They deliver and in my neighborhood that says a lot!! For whatever reason getting food businesses other than cheese steaks and pizza deliveries is next to impossible. I live in a diverse area but yet in still we get nada (smh) oh and you can pay with credit/debit over the phone. We pretty much order the same things. I get a mixed vegetable shrimp that's not on menu, chicken lo mein, sautéed broccoli and pork fried rice with added egg. I appreciate First Wok delivering and as long as they do and the food doesn't change My family and I will keep ordering. Another plus ... Food always comes piping hot!!!! and quick!

Normally my rating would be higher. Ive had better, they are capable of better, this particular order (General Tso, egg drop soup, beef pepper and rice, and egg roll. The food was warm and chewy. It took forever to eat the pepper steak. The soup was cold and greasy. The only redeaming dish was the General Tso, my nephew loved it and was crazy about the dish. Because I do love the establishment, I WILL order from them again .... however, they have been placed on notice ....

This place is ok, if you want some good Chinese food. The wait time for food is about average for a Chinese restaurant.
