Booked this restaurant for a family celebration. Staff did not help serve the dishes or clean up plates. We had to assist the staff who brought out the dishes and placed it on an empty table next to us. Owner refused to help us take dirty dishes off the table prior to cake cutting. The fact that we booked for this celebration 3 weeks in advance was a disappointment. The quality here has changed over the years. Should have went to another restaurant.

Authentic. That is the best word to describe this place. Their soups are fresh, taste good, and the taste reminds me of being back in Korea. I recommend the seafood soup and the spicy chicken soup!Once you walk in, you will see the customer base is Koreans and it is run by Koreans so you know it is going to be authentic. Don't worry though, the servers speak English and the service is top notch. My friends and I even got free drinks!

I've had better. The server and I miscommunication on something and he basically told me that I ordered it wrong. He didn't offer to fix it or let me order another thing. Their pork belly was blah and we had to order two orders or they wouldn't let us make it at our table. The service is not mean, but not friendly, unless you are a regular. That's how it seemed. Not a very friendly atmosphere compared to other restaurants. They had a few hits and a few misses with their dishes. Overall, there are better atmospheres and quality foods. This place is well-established and was the closest Korean restaurant in the area my friend lived.

My husband has a favorite soup here. He was feeling under the weather. Since I don't know how to make it. I decided to place an order over the phone for a pick-up. The lady who took my order over the phone told me it will be ready in 20 mins. I was heading over after work. Which takes me about 30 mins. When I get there it's still not done. Also the place was not busy at all. The pricing online is very very incorrect. I personally don't like this place. A lot of the dishes I had from here is very salty. Hence why I don't get anything for myself. Just keep in mind price on google is wrong.

This place got the best authentic Korean food. Everything is bomb and looks bomb. Their soup is to die for. Even though the service is ok the food makes up for it. If you're Asian you know all the good Asian food spots give shitty service.

One of the best, if not best, all-around Korean restaurants in the area. They don't have the most variety in their selection but what they do have is fantastic. You really can't go wrong with any of the styles of stews and Korean bbq meats and platter combinations. For those who are not too savvy with Korean dishes, the restaurant can be intimating. Don't let the personality of one of the servers get to you. One is really nice. The other one... is not as nice! Food is great!!

its pricy. its loud. its foreign. and its great.dolgochon is one of those korean places where, you walk in, and you feel like an outsider (at least i do, and im korean). however, they have really quality foods. they have grilled pork belly that you can bbq on a hot pan in the middle of the table. your clothes walk away smelly and you feel oily from all of the meat you're eating, but its fantastic. i consider it a treat whenever i can go because its on the pricier end, but its where my friends and i go whenever we want to have a good time.

4.5 stars.Upgrade is for their new rice bowls that comes made from individualized pressure cookers, straight from Korea! Kinda like those at Jong Ka Jib, but more high tech and delicious! This results in a subtle-y sweet rice that seems like glutinous rice was added (like sticky rice), but wasn't added. Comes piping hot in a wooden casket! There's an extra charge for this, but trust me, it is worth it.The grills are reminiscent of soht ttu kkung, the stone cover they used to make food in the olden days. The cover is a dome shape, so any oil flows off to make the meats healthier to eat!Definitely becoming a more of a go-to for Korean food for me since the other restaurants in the area have been on the decline in terms of taste.

This restaurant is a pleasant surprise tucked into strip mall on Cheltenham Avenue. The clientele come mostly from the concentration of Korean residents in the area. The service was prompt and courteous. I had the pork stir fry which was good but very spicy. Definitely worth a visit!

Food is quite good. However, if you are not of Korean or Korean American descent (I.e. Caucasian) they will give you less than stellar service. I have experienced this time and again at Dol Go Shon. Sadly, I have decided to stop going. Numerous times I have been turned away from service for no apparent reason and told "busy" or "no tables" when tables are empty. When I have been there, they spend more time and attention at tables with the abovementioned patrons.
