Medium Oxtail with sides of rice and beans, plantains, and extra gravy was delicious!

Ignore the negative reviews on this place, they'll pandemic reviews when everyone thought they were a TikTok food critic. We Grubhub the food and it got here in a timely fashion. The food and the spice were all together delicious. I ordered the Jerk Chicken which was magnificent. My Wife ordered the Curry shrimp and it was delicious as well. Don't pass up on this one, it's a goldmine. The Candied Yams is a 10/10The Jerk Chicken was phenomenal

Sadly, the food wasn't as good the last time we got delivery from Coconut Breeze (via Uber Eats). It's disappointing since we enjoyed their food before.I use ^ to indicate a half-star and * for a full star. So, ***^ means 3.5 stars:*** Oxtails were all right, but not as tender or tasty as before**^ Jerk chicken was overcooked (more than before) & not tasty. The meat didn't taste like jerk. I couldn't taste any marinade in the meat like I could before*^ Mixed vegetables were underwhelming: it was mostly corn & other small frozen veggies* Collards looked okay but tasted off, a bit sour. I'm not sure if it had been left out too long & gone badBoth of us felt unwell after eating the food, so we didn't finish it.

Stumbled upon this spot heading back to Philly. Service wasn't the quickest as it took me 10 mins just to place an order. Finally placed my order spent over $40 which was abnormally high compared to Jamaican restaurants I've been to all over the country total was 42.75 after being forced to pay .75 cent for using my card... I ordered curry salmon which was made to order initially was no problem was told it would be 20 mins... Ended up taking 45mins no apology or anything... Total timeSpent in the restaurant was 55min... Food was ok portion size was ok you get more of one side than the other I asked why he said that just how it is here... Speed of service and the price point was an issue here... I wouldn't return

I stopped by on Friday after work around 630pm. I had to wait 10 minutes for a $25.00 Oxtail Platter. I was shocked to find 4 Large Slivers of Meat around bones that were so tough I couldn't even chew them. I called the Manager the following day after some friends kept pushing me to follow up & allow them to try to make it right. I spoke with the manager who only responded with.."I am Sorry". Needless to say they do not have to worry about my continuing to support this particular business & I just thought I would share my experience with anyone that is interested in being treated fairly when spending time & money with a restaurant that does not respect their customers. Thank you for showing me just who you are & how little you care about the people who come into your establishment, it was a small price to pay.

Being annoyed is an understatement. I went to do a pick up and granted we are in the middle of social distancing. The sign says to call before entering. I have called for 10 mins to no answer. So I ordered via Uber eats.Never again. This macaroni looks and taste like box macaroni with added cheese. A mess. The oxtail in which I asked for extra gravy.....I got one full oxtail and the rest was pieces and bones for 19.90. Rice was dryer than Sahara desert. Not a lick of gravy on it. The greens. I ordered a small. It looks like they gave me the bottom of the bowl......all stems. Then I got bbq chicken and yams. Bad combo. My yams are littered with bbq sauce and my chicken is red in the inside. The worst way to spend $40 in food. Im really mad at the fact that they closing time is 8pm.....so I can't even return this mess. I will never come back. Sorry not sorry.!

I hadn't eaten a coconut breeze in quite some time, maybe in over 2 years but I had some friends over and decided to get takeout from there and get their family meal. The family meal could feed around 6 to 8 people and only costed around 45 bucks which was a great deal. They made some major interior upgrades to coconut breeze and even took credit and debit. something I didn't do the last time I ate there. I remember the food being a bit more aggressive on the spices but I wasn't mad. I understand they have to change with The Times in appeal to a larger audience so its all good. We order the jerk chicken sweet potatoes, collard greens, rice and beans, and macaroni and cheese. The only thing I wished was that the rice and beans came with more beans. The jerk sauce they put on the side to go on top of the jerk chicken was super super super good. The sauce was spicy but had a little kick of sweet balance it out. I hope they bottle the sauce someone day as I would definitely just buy that itself.

Excellent food . Staff always friendly and professional. I highly recommend this establishment.

So I was told they had the best Jerk Chicken was excited to try but dam what a major disappointment . First I want to say if it's authentic Jerk it can't be Bake dam no grill in house not spicy taste like spruce tree brand jerk seasoning. If this is the Best in Yeadon dam that's Sad . Over price for some rubbery cheap chop up chicken thighs and a leg dam they could've at least gave me some whole pieces . Period stay a way find another Jamaican spot not worth it plain just horrible had real Jamaican this is for from the Chef or Owner need to get their Jamaican card revoke.

For years I have tried to give this business the benefit of the doubt. My intention is to support local businesses, but I will never return to this establishment, or recommend it to anyone. This evening, my husband and I placed an order online as directed by the recorded message when we called. I don't use the option to order on-site because they have a small location with no seating available. According to the receipt we received, we placed our order at 6:01 and was instructed that our order would be ready by 6:30. We didn't leave our home until 6:30 because of last experiences of having to wait despite instructions that our meal would be ready for pickup at 6:30. We were still waiting for our order to be completed at 7:15 when we were told that they needed another 10 mins. At this time we asked for a refund, which initially they refused. My husband insisted and we were provided with a refund, less the tip we paid online. This is lack of customer service is unacceptable. Yes, I'm used to their lack of timeliness in completing our orders, but our experience this evening simply reflects their lack of respect for the customers that support their business.
