Great place for Chinese Takeout, being only couple minutes away from KOP mall, they take credit cards(Even Amex and discover) as soon as it's over 8$, otherwise there would be a 50¢surcharge.Vegetables are fresh, no extra charge for shrimp over other protein options. During weekdays they even provide a lunch menu(Try no.32)for less than 8$ with a free soda and fried rice, the portion is about 1Pt.I love their Curry shrimp, they only make it in Qt. though!

Pleased ! Looks like this will be our go to Chinese take out spot. My bf and I just moved to this area and of course we needed to find a good Chinese take out place. This place is right down the street so we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. China Star is my go to take out spot when I'm at work. The staff is friendly and the restaurant does a swift business. Tonight I ordered the shrimp and broccoli combination platter. I enjoyed the pork fried rice which was full of diced pork, onion, carrot and peas. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. I was pleased to find five of them packed into the container. The broccoli was lightly cooked and still had a crispness when bitten. The sauce was light and not overpowering. The egg roll was fine I've seen larger (that's what she said). It was fried lightly and the cabbage inside was crisp. The portion size was huge almost enough food for two. And I got a free can of soda.

I ordered pepper steak with no white rice because I ordered beef lo and when I called to explain what happened, the rudeness was indescribable. This is why I cook what I want. Pic is included with a half pot of rice Will not be returning. Can spend my 45.00 somewhere else.

When reviewing a business you have to take into consideration their core business. China Star is a take-out and delivery Chinese business in the USA. To give them a bad review because it didn't compare to the "authentic" food you just had while visiting China is unreasonable. If you want that go to Pin Wei but I warn you it is the real deal and most can't stomach the real deal.China Star offers and cooks the same menu items that 95% of the Chinese takeout joints in the U.S. offer. The food is always good, fresh and, hot.I like the seafood and pan noodles a lot (real lobster tail.) I also like the spare ribs as a quick treat. The kids love the chicken or shrimp. The soups are good too.Again this is not a Michelin rated restaurant and nor would you want it to be. You ordered take-out remember. (They deliver in Bridgeport and King of Prussia only)Just about everything is under $10.00 and most is $5.00 or less. Grab a cold can of Sunkist orange soda on the way out and enjoy your awesome fast food.On a side note is also a hoot listening to the kitchen workers. They always seem to be having a ball back there.

Tried this on a whim one night. They didn't sound or look busy, so I was a little worried. Food was really good. I got Sesame Chicken and a spring roll. Both really good and the pork fried rice was excellent! Will definitely go back.

I ordered from here and I got the smallest wings with pieces missing. When I called to tell them about this, they said it was fine and would make me a new order. I made my dad go out of his way to take me to pick up the order and then they were charging me for it. This isn't fair because I only got half of my food in the first order and both of the people there were extremely rude and giving us horrible looks.
