Gajtana S. "This review is for take out. I was looking for a highly rated place for Philly cheese steak nearby and found Tony G's. I picked up their 12" Philly cheese steaks with melted provolone and grilled onions for $11.50 each and also pub style fries and onion rings. Two people can easily share a 12". The cheesesteaks were good and overstuffed; I'd rate them a 4.25 and the fries and onion rings were greasy (as you'd except) and I'd give them 4 stars. Prices were reasonable for the oversized portions. The place itself is an awesome looking dive bar. The type of place locals swear by. I'm sure I'd rate it higher if I had a drink and food onsite. Will have to try it another time. Parking lot and outdoor dining area."

The wings are big and meaty and the sauce is on point. They have tons of sauces but I stick with Buffalo and the Cam Newton (Carolina BBQ & Hot Sauce Mixed) Always great for the games. Just sucks they do not open until 1PM on Sundays. i like to not miss any of the game. Cheesesteaks are very meaty and well seasoned. The roll which makes any sandwich is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. With the right amount of fried onions and cheese makes for one tasty meal. If in the area give them a try, I am glad I did."

I stick to my favorite chicken finger sandwich or their gyros. The food is usually pretty good and fairly consistent.I usually order in person during work lunch hours, not many people are in line at that time. Generally the lady is nice but when I order I usually feel a slightly rushed interaction. At times my order has been missing something in the bag and a wrong order once. The lady gets defensive so it gets annoying at times when I just want my correct order. For that reason I give them a lower rating. The outdoor seating is a nice bonus on summer days and the beautiful artwork is the icing on the cake. Good spot for what it is just hope their service improves."

Another problem: The wings were supposed to come with celery sticks & dressing, but we didn't get any with our wings. We didn't notice until we opened it up at home. Very disappointing."

I've been trying to stick with healthier options lately, but I threw that all out the window today and ordered the Reuben Cheesesteak. Reubens are my #1 favorite sandwich, and this was a really good twist on it - typical Reuben ingredients in a nice soft hoagie roll. It was really good and not overly packed which is how I like my sandwiches. My friend got the chicken cutlet BLT and said it was really good - she said the chicken was great. I'm definitely trying that one next time! The owner (Charlie, I presume) was really nice as well and we enjoyed our sandwiches so we will be giving him some more business soon."

Their vibe is casual and there are plenty of seats for small and bigger groups. It is not a full service restaurant, so you order up front and wait for your food so tips are encouraged but not required! The chicken is always made to order so the food is very fresh, hot, and crispy. For a very reasonable price you can get a bunch of food. I recommend their tikkudak and crispy gizzard! Make sure to order a side of the pickled radishes because it pairs perfectly with the chicken! Highly recommend this place! They also have good deals that they promote on their instagram so make sure to follow them @cmchicken_philly"

Tricia T. "Ordered delivery tonight after walking by this place so many times and never stopping in, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken sandwich with cheese and a side of onion rings as well as the crispy chicken bowl with chix rice and a side of mild creamy sauce. Yes, I, one person, ordered all that. I couldn't decide what I wanted. It's been a long week, okay?!The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was still pretty crispy even for delivery and the pickle, cheese, lettuce, and onion game added some class, texture, and flavor. I had ordered the onion rings because why not and those could have been crispier but they were still good. I dipped a few in the mild creamy sauce. The bowl was also pretty fantastic once I added that mild and creamy sauce in. I don't know what magic that sauce is made out of but I thought it was a great mix of heat and flavor. I'm not too sure about the partitioned takeout container because it made it difficult to mix it all together, but I got a couple solid bites of chicken, rice, vegetables, and sauce together before I fell into a food coma. I like the crisp on the chicken. The vegetables were more than just broccoli and carrots, which was fine by me. I love me some squash. Overall, not my favorite chicken bowl in the city (could use some more crunchy texture like some lettuce on the bottom maybe?) BUT still a solid contender. The sandwich was definitely my favorite and I would totally order that again with some of that saaaaauce. I'm interested to try their wings sometime too and maybe some other sauces. Solid chicken spot!"

We don't love sweet drinks, but when you do 0% sugar, there is still a slight sweetness from the juice and jellies. Little did I know that what I'd been looking for was right around the corner from where I live. I'd passed Tetra Pizza Grill dozens of times in my travels and it always seemed to be a busy place, with a constant stream of people running in and out with their takeout orders. Not sure why I waited so long to try it, but during my latest craving for a slice, I decided to give them a try. Great call!I ordered the Detroit Rittenhouse pie, which was a deeper dish, small, rectangular pizza with pepperoni, red sauce and cheese. The pizza had just come out of the oven when I arrived and it was slightly on the burnt and crispy side, which actually made it even more delicious. There's nothing worse than an undercooked pizza, so I was very happy with my selection.I ordered easily through their website and it was ready to be picked up in no time. I was greeted by a friendly counterperson and served with a smile as I perused the many tempting varieties of pizza displayed in their case. (Reason enough to come back!) The pizzeria is just that, a nice old-fashioned pizza joint, clean and comfortable, though it's not exactly the spot for a dinner night out on the town. Overall, this is definitely one of the better pizzas I've experienced here in Philly!"

Julian S. "Golden dragon had its soft launch this weekend so we stopped in to try the new menu. Got a few things: fries, orange chicken wings, shrimp curry, and cucumber salad. It took about 45 minutes for our order to be ready which is understandable given that it's literally their second day in business. But apart from that one critique, I was impressed by the value and quality of the food. The curry was spicy and flavorful, and while the portion was on the small side, it was only $5 so that felt fair. The fries were thick and hand cut and well seasoned. The cucumber salad was well balanced. But the star of the show were the wings: perfect cooked and juicy, a nice crispy batter, sticky orange glaze that wasn't overly sugary, and a big sprinkling of scallions. I can't wait to try their dumplings next time. Keep an eye on their Instagram for updates on menu and hours. There's gonna be a line out the door before long."

I tried a couple of other spots that were too busy and had a long wait, so I decided to give King of Wings a try. They're located in South Philly, on Passeyunk Ave and they have been there for a long time. The place was busy, but not too crowded. The smell was terrific and I was sure I had found the right place. I looked over the menu and ordered 20 buffalo wings, 10 buffalo fingers, a half rack of ribs and a large potato salad. The prices were very reasonable.I had to wait a bit, but it wasn't that long considering that it was a busy Superbowl SundayI set it up on the dinning room table and I piled a little bit of everything on my plate and sat down on the couch to enjoy the game. The wings were okay, not nearly spicy enough for me, they were medium sized and coated well. The buffalo fingers were kind of soft but fresh. The ribs were not that tender and I felt like a wild animal in the woods tearing meat off the bone. The sauce was tasty though, nice and tangy. The potato salad was nothing to write home about, but it had a cooling balance to all of the spicy food.I was glad the game was good and nobody complained about the food, Big Red prevailed and all of the food was eaten, and lot of adult beverages were consumed and everyone left with a smile on their face."

This was my first time at Tsaocaa and price wise it's comparable to Kung Fu Tea, maybe a little more expensive, but barely. I like their tall plastic cups too. Probably not the most environmental friendly but they are just a little fancier than the other cups from the other Bubble Tea shops.I don't think they have an app where you can customize and order your drinks ahead of time, but the staff was quick, and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes."

Thai tea had a bit too much milk, but I like that it came in a to-go cup. Place is small had like two tables that seat 4 people feels much more like a take out place. It's only serves for take away. I did eat it while it was hot and fresh in my car. The food was hot and fresh, both strips and chicken were moist. Breading was nice crisp and light. They could be seasoned more, that's what was missing for me. Fried chicken should be amazing without hot sauce(in my opinion) It felt more like the batter was seasoned but not the chicken. I could taste the flour a bit as well. Over all it was good, but missing that seasoning magic. The chicken was cooked perfectly for on the bone chicken. I don't want to take that away from them. The tots were fire and crispy. Ranch was homemade a pinch dill forward, nonetheless good quality The guy at the window was super helpful and polite, which is partly a reason I'd try again. Bruce B. "I liked the wings....... but that's about all. Even though it's called "America's Wings", there's no freedom of choice.I went there to try out their wings, and who doesn't like a good wing? They have a impressive amount of different flavor sauces and I love spicy food. I thought about ordering the ghost pepper sauce, but I did that once at East Coast Wings during an Yelp event and once was enough, believe me!I ordered the whole wings and I wanted them coated with the Thai chili sauce which was sweet and spicy. The girl taking my order told me in a voice that was tired of repeating the answer. "We don't put the sauce on whole wings you get it on the side a put it on yourself" What? Like ketchup? I want my wings coated with the sauce right from the fryer, so the sauce gets into every nook and cranny. She went on to explain that they only put the sauce on buffalo style wings and I asked her what's the difference? She just shrugged and asked if I wanted to order anything. I felt I was dismissed. Normally I would have left there and never come back, but these are unusual times concerning dinning out so I ordered some buffalo style wings with the Thai chili sauce. I also ordered the hush puppies and fried mushrooms. The wings were a nice size, meaty and tasty. The Thai chili sauce was tasty, but absolutely zero heat. I don't understand how you can use the word "Thai" without a little heat. The mushrooms were so-so, not much of a outer crust. The hush puppies were too dry and you didn't get that cornbread flavor. The meal wasn't that cheap and it seems to me that you should always get what you pay for and get a choice that you are happy with, sadly not here."

I expected the seasoning to be slightly watered down since we're in center city, the portions to be a bit small because once again, its center city because I'm sure renting in a prime time spot isn't cheap for carts. Surprisingly, the portions weren't as small as I thought they would be and some of the platters were made ready-to-go! I'm used to neighborhood Caribbean spots running out of food fast or taking 20 min per order, but they were pretty fast and the price point was reasonable. ($8 with a free soda for jerk chicken, plantains, cabbage, and rice in a big bowl). They could've put way more plantains and cabbage in there instead of rice and beans, but the flavor was pretty solid. The chicken is boneless which was convenient imo.I'll def be back here to try the Oxtails and the beef patties. They were out of oxtails. As any good Caribbean spot should be. Pro tip: If you walk up to a Caribbean restaurant / food truck after 3 pm and they still have every single item on the menu available, turn back out the door lol all the good good spots run outta food early lol"
