This is a solid Buena Onda located in St. David's near the Radnor Financial Center and the Radnor Hotel. I'm thrilled that we have a Buena Onda in the burbs (thanks, Chef Garces!). Like its sister restaurant at 19th and Callowhill, this Buena Onda serves up great tacos, Buena bowls, guac, plaintains, street corn, and churros. On a weekday, if you bring fourteen of your closest friends, you can get a HH discount and a comp pitcher of margarita. The location is small, so I have no idea how they host that many people, but good for them!

Friendly staff who serve with a smile. Tacos can be made with flour tortillas, or corn tortilla (soft), which are gluten free. Esquites are also gluten free. I tried Chicken Ropa Vieja Tacos and esquites -- both of which the server told me weren't spicy -- but I am really sensitive to spicy foods and would say these are both mildly spicy (my child would not have been able to eat them either). They were, however, delicious enough that I fought my way through and still enjoyed them!

Was driving to the philly location (only one I've been to) but saw this one so thought I'd give it a try. Food doesn't even compare to the Philly location (consistently excellent there). Makes Jose Garces look bad.

First and last time darkening the door of this place. Everything was over seasoned and the portions were small for the price. I also have no time for any business that tacks on a credit card service fee, especially when it's not posted obviously. It's the cost of doing business - build it into your price just like you do for the staff wages, power, rent, etc.

This was surprisingly bad. First is a real problem: I ordered the kids chips and cheese and there were jalapeños on it. Thank god my husband found them before my four year old did. You cannot put surprise jalapeños on food marked for children, that's insane. We got chicken nachos and the chips were oily and the toppings were very bland. We got three tacos and each one was just utterly doused in sauce with the exception of the pork taco. The chicken was full of sour cream and the shrimp was full of chipotle ranch so it was very hard to even taste the rest of it. The pork was ok, but for how gross the rest of the food was, I would not return. Please fix the kids chips and cheese. Children could be extremely shocked or hurt by jalapeños.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Buena Onda. The food was very fresh and came out quickly. I really enjoyed my shrimp bowl. There were some unique ingredients in it which made it a nice change from other "chain" restaurants burrito bowls. The service was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was very clean as well. Can't wait to return!

Buena Onda has been on my list to try since it came up as a suggestion on Yelp not too long ago. I am so glad I tried it today! I didn't order until I got there and was in and out in about 10 minutes. The place was small (narrow, but long), bright and sunny, and clean, and I just loved the vibe of the place. I ordered two tacos - pork al pastor and chile braised beef beef. Both were simply delicious! I'm not normally a fan of flour tortillas, but these were homemade, and I actually really liked them. The meats, sauces, and toppings were all quite tasty. I also ordered the chips and salsa, which I really enjoyed - the salsa was not the typical Pico that most taco places serve - it was a nice flavorful homemade salsa for sure. Overall, good stuff. I'm already thinking of going again next week and bringing some coworkers. Can't wait!

At first this place served a very nice tofu bowl with kale and mushrooms, but now apparently both that and the wrap that was similar are gone. The only vegan option right now is their fake shrimp, which isn't appealing. A shame, I would have liked going back here.

Modest appearance, but-SPECTACULAR VALUE! Low prices for excellent food. The best tortilla chips EVER! Top-notch guacamole and salsa. An excellent-and filling-chicken burrito for $10.00. Fish tacos for four bucks apiece! And a large variety of margaritas-with a generous pour! Friendly service. More than adequate parking.
